I was talking to John, who took the time to explain everything to me. He had the opportunity to take advantage of me and have me do extra work, but he never tried that. I asked him to see if my front brakes need changing as well, but he told me that it is too early and no need to spend the extra money. I was also concerned about the bearings of my lexus. He test drove the car and assured me that they are OK. The reason I started going here is because they are very honest and do not cheat like the places I have been to before. They have something that is missing from a lot of places: Honesty and reasonableness. Mike, the owner went above and beyond on my second visit to Auto Works by bringing my car back to me at Home Depot where I work. It's only about 2 blocks away but it was a cold and windy winter night so I really appreciated this extra touch. We called Mcleod's more or less in a panic, on Friday at 4:30pm and they gave us tips and suggestions over the phone and helped us trouble shoot what could be wrong. After learning we would need a part replaced, and knowing we had to drive the truck back to Maryland, they offered to have it looked at at 8am the very next day, on a day they're usually closed. They repaired our truck and by 9am we had it back running again. Dan did the work on our truck and was incredibly knowledgeable and was very friendly and honest.
