So I went to Lowes, Walmart and Home Depot. None of them knew what I was looking for. It wasn't that hard. I knew I explained it right. And I also know I couldn't possibly be the only person to ever have this problem. On my way home, I drove past Poplar Place hardware store and made a u-turn (illegally?) and pulled into their parking lot. I was in there for a few seconds and was able to find one of the pieces I needed. I walked to the counter and told the man in terribly inaccurate terms what I was trying to accomplish. He said "oh, sure!" And walked to their vast collection of adapters and brought me exactly what I needed. I am never going to any of the monstrous stores again. All hardware needs will now be taken care of at Poplar Place hardware. They are knowledgeable. The store is well stocked and clean. And their prices are competitive.

Rather than sell each item myself, along with waiting for those that are late or never arrive and haggle when they do, I drop them in one place. There's a website where I'm able to see what I've got there and the status, available and sold and what they got for it. Every month a check is issued. They sell items in the store and some items on line. They also sell antiques tools if you're a collector and fishing equipment. I've referred co-workers and friends to the shop.
