I love the band's that are brought in for dancing. My friends and I meet up practically every Friday and Saturday night for years. We're there to dance and socialize. I love the size of the dance floor. If I had one wish it would be that some type of 6" bar for glasses be put around the dance floor with openings where people can walk in. I don't like how many people dance with a drink drunk and then drop it on the dance floor. As a woman dancing you would hit that drink spot and you could face plant. Shoes DON'T like to move in it. A bar area would keep people from putting their drinks on other people's tables and keep them off the dance floor. read more

As far as bars in Westminster go, this is definitely one to check out! They have a pretty amazing live band (starts at 9). The drinks are reasonably priced, and stiff as well. The venue is quiet large, and the staff have always been great when I come. I usually come with large groups and/or birthday parties, and they are always accommodating for this. If you are looking for that large bar/live venue type of feel, check Hoffbrau out! I have not yet tried their food....so once I do, I will update this review! read more

So very disappointed. I came to see a particular band play and excited to try out the new place. The place is huge and the stage set up is fantastic. I was a little concerned to see two staggering drunks walking around with black x's on their hands. My friend purchased 3 beers and set them on the table. My friends went to dance as i watched the beers. Drunk X guy stole one of the beers and then cursed at me when i looked at him. I couldn't find a server anywhere and went back to the bar to simply let them know that someone who is cut off had acquired another drink. She snarled at me and said she was aware and rushed off. I then asked a guy behind the bar if he was aware. He held his finger in my face to tell me to wait while he poured Jaeger and did a shot with two other employees. I returned to my seat only to watch drunk X girl vomit on the floor while the drunk X guy felt her up. I again found staff and was told again that they were aware. I told her about the vomit and the girl rushed off to tend to the situation. The beer was finally removed from drunk guy and they were asked to leave. Probably won't be back. I suggest that the staff learn more about liability. read more

I miss the old Hoffbrau space, but this location is huge and does offer a lot of options. There's pool and tons of TVs and an almost entirely separate bar in the very back. It's a pretty easy/convenient place to meet and the food selection is pretty good. The Cuban sandwich was decent, though I would have preferred it more crisp/panini style. The guy had the Reuben and said it was passable. Overall an okay spot for a brew and some food. read more

I will make this quick. I never send food back. I've just sent my food back here though. I got the NY Strip. Bite one: kinda gross. Bite two: even more so, something isn't right. From this point I've edited my initial review so I'm not making scientific claims that I cannot support. What I will say is that I was served food in this restaurant that should not have been allowed out of the kitchen, and I will not be back. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE NOW..... And here is where I edit my review again and share the whole story after being insulted in a message by the ignorant, most likely drunken GM of this restaurant. I WAS SERVED ROTTEN BEEF! ROTTEN!!!! The waitress was embarrassed/humiliated, and we felt bad for her because it wasn't her fault. The Shift Manager was also embarrassed and we paid a total of $10 for two-drinks, an app, and my wife's food ($50 value, allegedly) due to the Manager's embarrassment. The meat smelled heinous, and my 1.5-bites only left me a little bit sick later that night. To top it off, I ordered something else after the apologies from the waitress and Manager, and 45-minutes later I had not received my food, so we left. AVOID THIS PLACE! read more

Amazing, amazing service! (Kristen was our server). It took us probably 30 minutes of chit chatting to actually look at the menu, but she casually stopped by to check on us at appropriate intervals with no pressure to hurry, yet was prompt at noticing when we were finally ready. She took our next beer orders perfectly at the tail end of our first drinks.... She is absolutely great at her job, couldn't have asked for better! And for those of you not fortunate enough to get this lovely lady as your server, it's still worth stopping in - the food was great, chips were great, salad was amazing (they make their own ranch!), delicious buffalo burger, and a decent selection of tap brews.... Certain things I don't like about this place but it's a local watering hole for me. The service is sufficient could be better. The reason for 55 big screen TV's is beyond me since they have no sports awareness once so ever. But hey I could just stay home. The food isn't to my liking but it's bar food. The owner does seem to give a shit. Which is nice to see. I wasn't sure that was the case by all my experiences in the new location. I didn't go as far to call the staff ugly. I just remember the staff being a lot prettier at the old location. That is the least of my worries. I take good service over looks. Any day. Thanks for your response Ken. I came in 3 times, at 7pm. Was told I need to either pay a 5 or 10$ cover. I'm coming in to eat and have a beer and go home. I shouldn't have to pay a cover just to come eat and pay that for some local bandits didnt come in to see. I totally get if I come in at 9 or 10, I'll pay a cover. But to come in and pay that just to pay for food and beer is insane. This was during the week to! .....I love this place, been a customer since before they moved location. Always a good time. But I'm not going to come in at all if they continue to charge a cover to come in and eat. What a revamp! The staff could be a bit more personable as it was strictly business both times I was in and the first time I think a hostess in training ignored us as the second person to the stand seated us immediately. other then that service is fast and accurate just needs more of a personal touch. The food tasted way better then the old location and I seen the happy hour menu both times I was there. I was highly impressed with the pricing as well! 3 beers and fried pickles were only 13 bucks! The rating should actually be 3.5 stars. The bf and I wanted to try the opening of Hoffbrau at the new location. The establishment is large and bright with tons of space. Even cooler is the back of the bar with a pretty awesome display of a stage with all the hoopla for a live band! I ordered the Moscow mule, which was pretty decent and cheap ($5.25). I was hankering for some soup and decided to try the bowl of chili ($4.99) which was just ok, kinda bland. My boyfriend had a side of feta cheese he did not care for in his gyro, so I used the feta for my chili and it made all the difference. I would have liked my chili hotter rather than slightly warmed. The bf thought his gyro ($9.98) was ok, the meat was too thinly sliced and the amount of onion rings as a side was skimpy - I could count at least 5 pieces. I would have opted for the fries instead. Service was prompt and at par. The background music was really loud, making for unpleasant conversation. Overall, a cool place to hang out and grab a drink I'd say. The food didn't blow me away but if you can't resist bar food then by all means have at it. Next time I'll scope the scene for the live band and more drinks for me. read more

Great venue! Large space, great sound system, bug dance floor, good food with the kitchen open late and great wait staff. Celebrated birthday here & Aubrey took amazing care of us. She went out of her way to ask if we could move tables together & made sure we had food & drink. For those drinking water, their glasses stayed as full as those having alcohol. Thank you so very much, Aubrey!!! Will we be back? Yes. Do I recommend? Yes. Aubrey is now our go to gal. Updated: 2/17/2017 Came in & ran into family n friends. Grabbed a chair & stool to sit. BIG mistake. Ended up with a 20 minute issue over it. Jessica carried on enough that the manager came over. Told her that she could have the chair back and felt that this tirade by waitress over a chair was ridiculous. We come in several times a month and know a bar tender and waitress in back bar. Wow...what a happening place for dancing to a good local band. Very mixed crowd but everyone was happy and having a good time. Lots of women dancing together and the band was very good...especially good as there was NO COVER as well. Drinks were reasonably priced and the pool tables are in good shape if you like to play. Monday nights or any other night, mainly to have a beer, meet people, play some pool. Food is good; over priced for the amount you get. I Don't go for the band's or thursday/saturday nights but it seems to draw a crowd from time to time. Customer service does really well. I've seen where it can get out of hand, but the staff take care of business and everyone is there to enjoy their time and the staff achieves that goal. Pros: happy hour pricing, free pool after 8 on Mondays(pool in general is great here), have the occasional crowds on a monday night or Tuesday night. My wife and I went to meet some friends for the Denver Bronco game. What a great atmosphere for sports. Great HD tv's and the customer service was outstanding. I forgot the name of our waitress but she was on point. What I mean is very good. The large chicken nachos were Awesome. There last night for a birthday party. We had a large group, food and lots of drinks throughout the night, and had such a great time! This place never disappoints on the fun meter. ALWAYS good drinks and AWESOME music. Whatever your thing is, have a few after work, darts, pool, shuffle board, watching sports, dancing..you name it, its here. Bonus...no cover for GREAT live music. Our waitress Taylor was AWESOME! We got there at 730 pm, and closed it down, and she NEVER skipped a beat! She was on top of everything all night, tall task for a large group, but she nailed it, and had a great attitude on top of it. Thank you Taylor for your AWESOMENESS! Number one the service is spectacular. Number two the food not do much, when do you add beef to a gyro? Not the smartest move. As far as atmosphere not to bad. Dart area very poorly lit. Drink prices are not bad. I certainly do not recommend the food, as it is bar food,very bland not much flavor. Ordered gyro then ordered a burger not impressed. Have not explored the beer selection as of yet but will report back. Limited selection of stout beers tho. read more

Went to have a drink with my wife and some of her colleagues. We arrived a little bit later than the rest of the group so we knew that service wasn't going to be immediate, which was fine. After a couple minutes I turned around to take a look at what beers were on tap and made eye contact with who I am assuming was the manager. He ended up helping us and our drinks were on the house, super nice but not necessary. We knew the waitress would be around again soon but then he proceeded to get upset with her that we weren't serviced immediately. In the end it made it for an awkward experience that wasn't super enjoyable. Good drinks strange service. read more

I'll never be going here again. After leaving a 10% tip ($4) for subpar service that was mostly drinks and some food from the bartender, the bartender thought it would be a great idea to commit fraud and tack on another $11 which altogether was close to 40% of the bill. I called Hoffbrau to try and resolve the issue and speak to a manager, and the person who answered just hung up on me. That says a lot about there customer service, I don't plan on the manager calling back because of how the place seems to be ran. I ended up calling my bank and reporting the fraud so luckily they'll be taking care of it. I'd stay away at all costs. read more
