It was also very good with the right of sour and not overly sweet. The bar has some snacks for purchase like popcorn and meat sticks. I guess they normally have food trucks offering different types of cuisine. There are bathrooms just outside the taproom shared with R&R head labs and another business. Just ask for the code as they require one for entry. The parking is challenging as the bar is just south of Colfax on York. You can find street parking.

Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive...and the food was just ok and pricey. The female manager was very rude to me and my party. We had three groups that we were trying to get together. Since there is a $100 non refundable deposit over 15 people ... which is wrong to charge, we were forced for 3 people to book 3 seperate tables. The manager tried to give our tables away when people were late, this i understand and had no problems with. It was her comments and rudeness that was unwarranted and so very disrespectful. I responded, " thank you. ..have a nice evening ", and walked away. I wasnt about to let her ruin my evening. I found out later that the table she was giving away was to her friend and that she was stressed out because of reservation issues which i was told by someone there. It was not my problem she should NOT have taken it out on us. We only came to see the band anyway as we do every year and bring large groups each time. But, we will NOT be back. I have never been treated so rudely or disrespectful by any restaurant employee before. We eat out alot, but wont be spending our hard earn money here...even if our favorite band is there. We will catch them at a better more accommodating venue. read more

The food is great, but my real issue is with the servers! They are extremely slow, they don't check up on you, and the worst part is that they stand around and chit-chat with coworkers or bar goers while you're sitting there watching them in need of something. I have been there three times in the past month and it's the same case each time. I go back for the food and the fact that i live less than a mile from there, but the service is terrible. They don't even have a greeter to sit you down and acknowledge you. You just have to hope that when you walk in that someone happens to see you do so and these reasons alone make the experience a very unpleasant one each time. This place needs new management or needs to have some changes done real soon because these are issues that should not occur ANYWHERE! If any management sees this, fix this problem, now, because it's highly unprofessional. read more

Last night at Hoffbrau, I wouldnt let a man sit ON my stool with me. We refused his offer to buy us drinks as well. Therefore he called me a "dirty whore" and claimed that he "owned" me in front of the bartender and others at the bar That bartender didnt mind because he is a regular I guess. Bouncer was informed and still the guy stayed. Which made my friend and I very uncomfortable to walk to our cars with him lurking around. I will never go to this environment that promotes the misogynist agenda again. No support from staff or otherwise. I am a restaurant chef and my friend with me is also a bartender who would NEVER allow sexual harassment at her bar. I will continue to post these reviews and pictures and video of the creep and the bartender that did nothing. read more

The other night I (& many other men) were turned away at the door for wearing tank tops in 90° weather. I had a dirty work shirt in my car so I was still able to meet my friends. However, I was dressed to impress while being physically comfortable in the hot weather. Nearly every female in the bar (staff included) were wearing clothing that made my tank top look like a full blown Hijab. It wasn't like I was wearing a "wife beater". Curious, I kindly asked the bouncer why the rule was gender specific. He had no idea. In a day and age where we are constantly bombarded with "problematic" accusations of "sexism" & "misogyny ". This really makes me wonder who the REAL sexists are. Oddly enough these hypocrites had a night with male strippers recently. Bravo! read more

We love hoffbrau! We come here almost everyday and are happily greeted by Janelle (she's our favorite)! We decided to stay into the night, which means we had to have a different server... Brittany, our new server for the night (also new to hoffbrau) was amazing and so sweet! However, Evie tried to take over our table by lying to Brittany and saying we were friends, when I had never even met Evie before. I am a previous server and know a table shark when I see one. We were pretty disappointed with how the situation was handled, and have also heard about her being sneaky before. We would love to come back at night, as long as we don't have to be involved with sneaky servers! read more

Nice new place, more room for plastered doucheboys to act up. I witnessed 2 female bartenders serve a drunken patron (whom they knew) until he was shirtless & accosting other patrons, including myself. My wife & I had to move to the front bar before I had to have a violence fight. The bartender up front had to go back & get control. She booted the idiot out, scolded the stupid little bartenders & comped our next few drinks. On weekends this place is a haven for adolescent jerk offs & terrible live music, hit it on a weeknight. love this bar but am totally perplexed at how it makes money because I've been here for two hours on a Saturday night enjoying the Red Rocks Vixens and have yet to be approved by staff asking if I would like a drink and how is my visit. Ive seen two waiters carrying one drink at a time maybe once. The owner must be making so much bank because it is busy. That it does not matter to have a hungry staff. Absolutely horrible experience tonight, Had a drunk guy muscle his way between my seat at the bar, He started hitting on the woman next to me who was with someone. after many hints for him to leave, the bartender acted like it was my fault and I told her she should probably not be serving him, she told me I shouldn't be telling her how to do her job. The owner of this establishment is a word I cannot say in yelp. He cut our party off because he was an opposing fan of a team we were rooting for. We spent $500 as a party there and he still had the nerve to do so. Wouldn't recommend ever going there. Also kicked out 3 members of the US Armed Forces. read more

Excellent service and really tasty food. The meals were served hot and the beer was chilled. While the service was a bit slow, it didn't bother us; our server was fantastic and managed a lot of tables, so it was understandable.
