The procedure went smoothly, comfortably, and I felt cared for the entire time. After this good experience, I decided to have a deep clean there. I recently had a deep cleaning done with Dr. Andy, and I'm very happy with the experience. He really took the time to do a thorough and careful job and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I was especially nervous about the injection, but I honestly didn't feel any pain at all. Dr. Andy checked in with me regularly and was very patient and professional. All the staff there are very nice, care and helpful. I will continue go there. I would definitely recommended this office to anyone looking for high-quality dental care.

His enthusiasm and passion for dentistry is very obvious, and then, yesterday when I found myself in his chair having a gum grafting procedure over six lower interior teeth, I am happy to report that it was pain-free. He does a procedure many other periodontists steer clear of, (saying it's not possible) called the 'pinhole procedure,' which, instead of flapping the gums back, you make a small tunnel underneath the gum line of the teeth you are grafting, and feed the palatal gum through. It's relatively non-invasive, and the results are spectacular! One day out, I have big fat, beautiful gums, which I know will remodel in the next six months, but I couldn't be happier. If you need a periodontist , THIS is the office to go to! Top-notch and 100 stars!! Pamela Menges, RDHBS

Thankfully I had a bad feeling about them and found someone else…read more I took my teen daughter in may 9 for a consultation to have her wisdom teeth removed as we were referred by her ped. Dentist. I received a bill 8/11 for $223 for the consult. No one called let me know how much they billed $366 for the consult, and on top of that the office doesn't have a scale but they put people under (apparently they just take your word for your weight) my teen doesn't weigh herself and they asked me to estimate. I was 25 pounds off. The doc wasn't reassuring and now my kid is unrealistically afraid of the surgery and no one ever called me to let me know how much the surgery would be or when we could get her on the schedule. I was hoping she could have her wisdom teeth removed over the summer but now I have to start all over with another office. I'm glad this place thinks so highly of themselves. As a parent, I can't charge them for my time but I sure can protect my kids from them. After reading some terrible reviews, I'm just lucky I felt all the bad vibes before something much worse happened.

Then she told me she had no appointment for my daughter even though her orthodontist had sent the referral over which I confirmed when I made our dual appointments. The waiting room was completely filled which means they were running behind and did not care about inconveniencing their patients. We are all busy and should not tolerate people or businesses disrespectful to their patients/customers by not seeing them on time. Disaster!

Unfortunately, maybe it was only my experience but in my original wisdom tooth extraction consultation there I was told by a kind and descriptive dentist to ask for a in-depth image and to have everything explained to me and she explained what she could so I felt secure that the actual wisdom tooth extraction experience would be similar in descriptiveness. Unfortunately for me it wasn't. While I will say the ladies and man assisting and who were in the room were very kind and caring, offering me comfort, the oral surgeon lady who was going to remove my wisdom teeth was very blunt and belittling in my opinion. To explain, she simply told me all four of my teeth are getting removed and I asked why because I had previously been told my upper wisdom teeth were very high up (a lot of bone between my mouth and wisdom teeth) and I could wait to have them grow out further before removing them and she instead of answering my question just said the bone regrows because I'm young. When I asked how far up or low my top wisdom teeth are in my mouth, she said I don't understand your question. I started to cry and get anxious because she wasn't answering my questions, trembling because I was afraid, and she instead repeated herself in a belittling tone. (I had thought she would be descriptive and explain my worries to me calmly like in my original consultation). Ultimately, I asked for my dad which was when she explained herself slightly better. In the end, she said I never told her about only getting my bottom ones out (which I did in the beginning before I got scared and starting crying) so we ultimately left after she said she wouldn't proceed, yes, my father did get agitated but only because I was trembling and crying in fear and feeling unheard. It was as if they were rushing me and out. No beside manners, nobody introduced themselves the got straight to asking questions, pressure check, didn't ask before pulling my shirt up to put heart monitor pads on me, no regard for patient commodity, they just kept going despite seeing me crying. No comfort, just rushing. I am 19 and this was my first ever surgery, if she had even just spoken to me kinder or more professionally, I would have been fine but she just proceeded to insert my iv, and repeat herself without (I feel like) regards for my fear or feelings. Please do not fear! The other employees were kind and helpful, but she gave me a new fear that I didn't know I could get. Kindness and compassion goes a long way.

Never go here for the sake of everyone they say they're certified, but we just found out that's not the case.

I…read morewas slightly nervous (it is the dentist office after all) and excited to visit Dr. Chui's office as he had so many positive ratings. It took 1.5 months to get my first introductory cleaning + x-ray exam due to him being so busy. But, I now understand why he is so well-liked and highly requested. The dental hygienists and staff were so welcoming and friendly. They made me at peace the whole time. Somehow, my hygienist was able to clean my "6-year old" teeth in 1 hour... I could feel and see the difference instantly! It was amazing. Dr. Chui is a warm, friendly and thorough dentist. His office is equipped with the latest technology. While I was lying in the chair, I was able to see the exact teeth he was referencing and talking about via a large computer monitor hanging from the roof which was connected to a livestream camera... so awesome! Dr. Chui was able to show me on the screen where a cavity was forming and how I was grinding/clenching my teeth down. I could clearly see the uneven borders and enamel and even hairline cracks in my teeth through the screen images. I assume I have been doing this for years but Dr. Chui is the first dentist to go out of his way to educate me on this. While there, I even decided to purchase a custom-mold dental guard. This product is offered by Dr. Chui's office. Dr. Chui had two options to choose from and even insisted I purchase the more economical option to see if I utilized the guard enough before purchasing the more expensive one. He was upfront, honest and not "pushy" in any regard. In two hours at Dr. Chui's office, I learned more about dental hygiene and my own teeth structure then I had learned ever before. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Chui and his staff to anyone in the area looking for a well-mannered, thorough and friendly dental office.

I was a…read morefew minutes late that day, but I wasn't there to have my teeth cleaned - I just wanted the doc to check one spot where I was having sensitivity. I explained this to her, but Angelina started cleaning my teeth anyway and spraying water all over my face. At one point, she threw a napkin at me and said she didn't have time to be tidy because I was so late. She was being so aggressive and scary (giving Steve Martin in Little shop of Horrors vibes) that I finally decided it was time to leave. I asked her to stop and she said, "ok, bye, sir" (wtf - I'm a woman and not particularly masculine). It took me a year to decide to give them another chance. This time, a few weeks ago, I got a hygienist named Karen (of course). While she was poking around in my mouth, I winced slightly when she poked the gums behind my two front teeth. She asked if I was ok. I told her I was fine, but that I felt the sharp tool on my gums. Instead of saying, "oops, sorry!" or something innocuous, she instantly got defensive, saying she didn't touch my gums. Not the response you want from the person holding the sharp tools! She asked if I wanted her to numb my gums and I said, "no thanks". Instead of just continuing on with her work, she said, "Um, ok, because you seem a little ...". She didn't finish the sentence, but it was just odd - she was either projecting or trying to provoke a response. As she continued to be rude, I decided it wasn't worth my time to have someone who hates their job taking out their frustrations on my teeth and gums. I got up and left before it could get worse. I had a great dentist in the town where I used to live and there are many other dental practices in the same building as Evosmile. On my way out, I made an appointment with one of them.
