Their prices were comparable to other local nurseries but selection and service is what Covington's rocks on. I was asked everytime I went to a new section if I needed any assistance. When I began loading my vehicle, two workers picked up bad pieces from the pallet and wanted me to load them. I reminded them that the person that accepted my payment said I could select and load myself. They got mad when I refused to take their bad pieces (yellow grass and missing dirt). They had the nerve for reference my age as the reason why I was angry and persistent that I be allowed to select and load myself as they initially agreed at the point of sale.

You came out in early spring, to provide an estimate, when the sun rises further to the south (this area was shaded at that time) but as we get further into the summer the sun is further North (it's in full sun now). We talked about this! Being the professional landscaper, you should know how the seasons affect the sun/shade in planting areas with fences and structure nearby. In stead of making good on your mistake, you wanted to sell us other plants which we declined because we already paid you to landscape this area. You recommended what plants to plant! The repairs made on the pavers and underground drain is ugly. The pavers have a noticeable dip in them because you reset a small section rather than fixing it correctly. All the pavers should have been reset to slope away from the covered patio. After resetting the pavers, you did not fill in the spaces between the pavers. You would know this if you ever inspected your crews work but you've never been back since providing the estimate. You would have also seen the damage they did to our new gutters. And by the way, we are very pleased with the work our contractor did on our outdoor living space.

We ordered A LOT (25 cubic yards) of compost for our property. When we went to use it, we realized the compost was nowhere near finished, and it hadn't been screened even once. Our compost was filled with large leaves, big sticks/twigs, and trash. At first, I really thought they accidentally gave us mulch. This is compost that's advertised as being ideal for top dressing lawns. I tried reaching out to Living Earth to come to a resolution, and I received no response despite multiple attempts. We'll be needing large amounts of compost at least 2x/year for lawn maintenance, and we'll certainly be getting it elsewhere moving forward.

The front door greeter was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, after that initial greeting, no one asked if I needed help during my time in the store. When I checked out, the cashier, Janet, was noticeably unfriendly and seemed bothered by my presence. Her attitude made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Because of the service alone, I will intentionally drive out of my way to shop at a different location in the future. I enjoy the products, but customer service matters, and I don't want to shop somewhere I feel unwanted.

This location is very clean, and it seems larger than the Firewheel location. In any event, the customer service here far exceeds the Firewheel location. I'd rather drive a little farther and be treated as a valued customer. There is plenty of parking available.
