There is a large selection of plants, herbs, and flowers to choose from. There is also a gift shop that has plenty of unique and interesting items to purchase for that special someone. One of the most delightful features of this nursery are the cats that live on the premises. My sons and I love petting the cats; there is one in particular we enjoy seeing the most as he is the sweetest kitty on the property and his name is Vail. I purchased a large Alocasia Regal Shield for $20; something that would have cost me much more in the midwest where I'm from. Spend a little time looking through the plants. If you do a quick glance, you might miss something. I did my first couple of trips around the department. Finally decided on a plant and a pot and we were on our way. If you love houseplants and want to shop local, definitely check-out Calloway's. They offer much, much more - from yard decor to merchandise for major landscaping upgrades/renovations. Friendly customer service, fair prices, and complimentary bottled water while you shop. 4/5 stars because some of the plants just needed to be dumped, or at least deeply discounted because of their condition. I was mainly interested in looking at houseplants. Just a huge, lovely healthy variety of ferns, succulents, cacti, aroids, Hoya,...... everything from tiny 2 inch pots of " string of pearls" CUTE!! to gorgeous baskets of philodendron "Brazil".. all the plants appeared very healthy and lush. My brother in law was looking for landscape bushes, and found a nice selection as well. My mother in law was searching for a colorful hanging basket... BINGO!!! I could have spent hours there!!!! Leave yourself plenty of time to browse around. I thought prices were pretty reasonable. Saw lots of nice Pink Princess philodendrons in 4" pots for 19.00.... Not bad at all!! Not everyone had one and those that did, they didn't look that health. Finally went to FTF and they had just what I wanted and several to choose from. in the end, the price was the same as other nurseries. That included installation and a one year warranty with a minimal delivery fee. Couldn't be more pleased. Definitely recommend them.

I've worked with landscapers before and usually you get a lot of talk and not a lot of follow through. This was different. They gave us a few design options, walked us through everything, and actually communicated throughout the whole project which was huge for me. What really stood out was the quality of the work. We've paid for "premium" service in the past and never really felt like we got it. With Blooming Colors, you can tell they care. The details, the cleanup, the way everything came together, it just felt right. Now our backyard is a place we actually want to spend time in again, which I didn't think I'd say a few months ago. We'll be using them going forward for both our home and our rental properties here in Southlake. No question.

Here's the story... Before purchasing, I made it crystal clear I needed HOA approval (as an "exception" because it's not on our approved landscaping list). On that lovely Saturday, the very helpful sales associate, Olivia, confidently assured me I'd get a full refund if the HOA didn't approve. No mention of store credit. No caveats. That promise (and my love for those two trees) was the only reason I agreed to move forward and let them hold the trees on my card. HOA said no. I came back expecting a simple resolution... and instead got a full rewrite of reality. Olivia wasn't there, and the staff immediately insisted there was "no way she would've said that." One employee chimed in, "I trained her myself," followed by questions about whether I "saw all the no-refund signs." The manager doubled down with, "I really don't believe she said that." All of this--despite having a witness that was standing next to me who heard the entire conversation. Let's call it what it was: not confusion... gaslighting. After things escalated, the owner came out, seemingly only after I mentioned disputing the charge. She agree to refund me--but not before trying to shush me, telling me to "be quiet or wait outside," and saying, "I'll refund your money and you can go buy your trees elsewhere." Nothing says "family business values" quite like dismissing a paying customer on the way out. The trees were beautiful, no doubt--but their integrity and respect wilted faster than a Texas agave in August. If you shop here, get everything in writing... because their word clearly doesn't take root. Better yet, don't.

On 7/4/26, a staff member was sitting in the cooler handing out water bottles -- 1-2 each -- to select customers, but skipped over us entirely. When we finally got inside, she asked how we were doing. My 80-year-old mother mentioned it was hot, and the employee replied, "Is it that hot since you're out?" -- dismissive, especially right after handing out water to other customers and not us. It felt like the staff cater to a certain type of customer, and we didn't fit that mold. Very disappointing and disheartening after being loyal customers for so long especially on July 4th.
