It was great knowing that all their trees come from their farm in Texas. Once we picked our trees from their large lot, they carefully marked them as ours to ensure those were the ones that showed up on delivery day. Their delivery team was respectful, helpful in finalizing placement of each tree, careful with the trees and our yard, and cleaned up nicely. The consult was good and we were provided an offer for a couple of services, thoroughly clear an existing flowerbed, remove a tree and soil injections for 2 other trees. Initial offer seemed rather high but then the consultant called the general manager to get us a discount given we would be coming back to replace plants in the flower bed. I had to call and remind the consultant 2 times to schedule the soil injection service as they never reached out to me. The tree removal was okay but they didn't remove the entire stump even though we told them we were going to put grass over the area. Then we made an appointment to meet our consultant to design our new flowerbed bed. First appointment he wasn't there so we spent time with the GM and we discussed what we liked and didn't like which she would relay to our consultant. So a week later we went again to meet the consultant and he had NOT been informed of anything we discussed with the GM, so we had to go through the whole process again. Ultimately picked out the plants and got a design layout. Agreed a date and time for them to come and plant it all. Long story short, some of the plants were damaged (a very expensive whale tail agave) and some of what we chose in the nursery turned out to be shorter when they were delivered. Oh and again we were told we got a manager special pricing....hhmm should have been a warning sign. After the work they ask for feedback where I made all issues known and I was told someone would be reaching out. That was 2 months ago!! I even texted the same number again. No response. Basically, whilst the products and free stuff they give you is all great. There is a lot to be said about the aftercare and customer service. I will definitely be thinking twice before spending my hard earned money at Moon Nurseries.

One of the gentleman (John) that works there always helps me find exactly what I am looking for and he also offers suggestions on how to successfully grow whatever I am trying to grow. There is a large selection of plants, herbs, and flowers to choose from. There is also a gift shop that has plenty of unique and interesting items to purchase for that special someone. One of the most delightful features of this nursery are the cats that live on the premises. My sons and I love petting the cats; there is one in particular we enjoy seeing the most as he is the sweetest kitty on the property and his name is Vail. If you love houseplants and want to shop local, definitely check-out Calloway's. They offer much, much more - from yard decor to merchandise for major landscaping upgrades/renovations. Friendly customer service, fair prices, and complimentary bottled water while you shop. 4/5 stars because some of the plants just needed to be dumped, or at least deeply discounted because of their condition. I was mainly interested in looking at houseplants. Just a huge, lovely healthy variety of ferns, succulents, cacti, aroids, Hoya,...... everything from tiny 2 inch pots of " string of pearls" CUTE!! to gorgeous baskets of philodendron "Brazil".. all the plants appeared very healthy and lush. My brother in law was looking for landscape bushes, and found a nice selection as well. My mother in law was searching for a colorful hanging basket... BINGO!!! I could have spent hours there!!!! Leave yourself plenty of time to browse around. I thought prices were pretty reasonable. Saw lots of nice Pink Princess philodendrons in 4" pots for 19.00.... Not bad at all!! We felt confident investing more upfront because we were assured the trees would be covered. Unfortunately, one of the trees dried out and snapped within just a couple of months. I reached out multiple times regarding the warranty, but instead of honoring it, I was offered 50% off a replacement. Even when I attempted to move forward with that option (despite believing it should have been covered under warranty), follow-up was difficult and communication was lacking. We were disappointed with the overall customer service experience, especially considering the investment we made. As it stands, we cannot recommend purchasing based on a warranty that is not honored. If management would be willing to reach out and stand behind the warranty by replacing the failed tree, we would gladly update this review to reflect a resolved situation.

I've worked with landscapers before and usually you get a lot of talk and not a lot of follow through. This was different. They gave us a few design options, walked us through everything, and actually communicated throughout the whole project which was huge for me. What really stood out was the quality of the work. We've paid for "premium" service in the past and never really felt like we got it. With Blooming Colors, you can tell they care. The details, the cleanup, the way everything came together, it just felt right. Now our backyard is a place we actually want to spend time in again, which I didn't think I'd say a few months ago. We'll be using them going forward for both our home and our rental properties here in Southlake. No question.

Here's the story... Before purchasing, I made it crystal clear I needed HOA approval (as an "exception" because it's not on our approved landscaping list). On that lovely Saturday, the very helpful sales associate, Olivia, confidently assured me I'd get a full refund if the HOA didn't approve. No mention of store credit. No caveats. That promise (and my love for those two trees) was the only reason I agreed to move forward and let them hold the trees on my card. HOA said no. I came back expecting a simple resolution... and instead got a full rewrite of reality. Olivia wasn't there, and the staff immediately insisted there was "no way she would've said that." One employee chimed in, "I trained her myself," followed by questions about whether I "saw all the no-refund signs." The manager doubled down with, "I really don't believe she said that." All of this--despite having a witness that was standing next to me who heard the entire conversation. Let's call it what it was: not confusion... gaslighting. After things escalated, the owner came out, seemingly only after I mentioned disputing the charge. She agree to refund me--but not before trying to shush me, telling me to "be quiet or wait outside," and saying, "I'll refund your money and you can go buy your trees elsewhere." Nothing says "family business values" quite like dismissing a paying customer on the way out. The trees were beautiful, no doubt--but their integrity and respect wilted faster than a Texas agave in August. If you shop here, get everything in writing... because their word clearly doesn't take root. Better yet, don't.
