It's an all white staff, has been for years, and none of them want to help you if you're ethnic. Every other spot I've been to is great, the most friendly staff, but this location is horrid. It's been like this for years now. You are only welcome there if you're white. Today I had a really rude large white lady with black hair snap at me for asking questions about my dogs snacks. She had total attitude from start to finish like I had bothered her whole day or something. Then, when I went to check out (cause apparently they removed the counters so employees could spend more time helping customers ironically HAHAHAHAHA) I asked for a bag and she snapped "we have none sorry" with this evil smirk on her face..... it's crazy how different literally ALL THE OTHER SPOTS ARE except this ONE. They need to recycle their entire staff and management and make a point to diversify, this neighborhood is becoming predominantly colored people, it's not right to have a location like this that promotes racial profiling and such grotesque behavior. ***UPDATE*** I have spoken to Sharon W directly myself and she was completely defensive and biased to the entire situation. So people know, most owners use AI to respond to us, this is just some blanket comment the "owner" left to cover their tracks. This company has gotten so big they do not care anymore about the culture of their stores or maintaining good customer service. This was really disappointing how corporate decided to handle this. I am wearing my meta glasses everytime I walk in now and hope I can catch this on film and blast this place.

I usually like the customer service and that they have the kind of kitty litter that I like to get for my cats. However, the last couple of visits have not been great. Things have been the incorrect price and although the last time after a little bit of discussion, the employee that was on duty adjusted the price and realized that it was their mistake that they marked things wrong and did not do the price change like they were supposed to. Today was a different experience. I grabbed the kitty litter from where there was a full stack and it was clearly marked 11.49 for that litter. I ring it up and it comes up 1299. I tell the employee hey this is the wrong price. It's 1149 on the aisle. She comes back and tells me she can't see where it is marked that. I take her over to the aisle and show her the full stack of seven or eight bags of kitty litter with the sign under it. This says 1149. She says oh this says for something else. And I ask OK well as a customer how am I supposed to know that? It says litter 1149 right under the stack of litter that has always been 1149. So she says mistakes happen and doesn't offer an apology or to do anything about it but instead kind of argues with me and gives me attitude. I inform her that that is just not really good customer service and that as a customer, I am purchasing something that's listed as a certain price and that's what I expect it to be and if there is a mistake I understand that but acknowledge the mistake and don't try and blame me as the customer and that I should just be OK with something being $1.50 more than what it's priced at on the aisle. So I ended up having to pay more for it just so I can get the litter and leave because I have to get back to work. It is really ridiculous How bad customer service is now. ..Especially when things are priced wrong. The economy is bad for everyone and it's just unacceptable to treat customers like crap because you feel like they don't have other options or you don't care about your job or whatever it is. There are other options and I can go to other places. I chose to come to this one because I like going to a smaller store, but I will just go to Petsmart.

When my new dog quite literally ate my receipt, it was still a simple matter to bring something back that didn't work out for us and get a refund. Small things like this make it easy to shop local and shop small. The only drawback to a small shop is it's not a great place to take my dog shopping with me (though dogs are welcome) because she's still so excited her tail wags will knock products off the shelves with the narrow aisles.

I'd love for them to put a protocol in place for keeping this space cleaner. I imagine some customers are very inconsiderate and don't clean up after themselves, but that shouldn't be a problem for the next customer. For example, after each customer leaves the cleaning room, a staff member could go in, sanitize, wash the walls, put the equipment back where it belongs, squeegee the floor. I can't imagine Pet Supplies Plus wants the liability of someone slipping on standing water...? This process would only take 5 mins and I'm sure most customers would be totally fine with the wait rather than dealing with the mess. I know this is harsh, but I've been going to this location for years and will not return once I use up my current dog washing card (prepaid).

Disappointing experience at this location. I made a grooming appointment the day before, received…read moreconfirmation for 9:00 AM, and was the first person waiting. Despite that, another customer was taken back before me. I waited 15 minutes, but I had to be somewhere by 9:30, so I ultimately had to leave. The issue was with how the appointment was handled. The other customer had two Chihuahuas, and one was not properly secured. When the groomer tried to pick it up, it fell out of the harness, which was concerning to watch. I want to clarify that this was not the groomer's fault at all. This location continues to have issues. During my last visit, they tried to charge me $29.99 for a cake that was $9.99. I had to show the manager which cake I had purchased, and she corrected the employee. I was not charged the incorrect amount. Between that and appointment times not being honored, this is becoming a pattern that is very frustrating. I expected better from Pet Supplies Plus and will be taking my business elsewhere.
