Fat Taco Food Truck to the rescue. What you won't do, is walk away from this one having to stop elsewhere to get more food. The portion size is generous and the food is good. I don't think it's good just because it gets me out of the house, either. It's all in the balance. The nachos, both with the pork and beef are filling and overloaded with toppings. Although the pork was slightly dry, the seasonings were still detectable. The shrimp tacos, with several decent size shrimp in each taco, also were done well. The shrimp were slightly overcooked; however, with the extra sauce and filling, it wasn't noticeable. It's tough getting everything exactly right when you can't eat it right away and that might well be why the meat on the nachos and the shrimp missed the mark. But on the tacos: They are hard to eat because the insides keep falling out -- they're that stuffed. Don't eat them in the car. The quesadillas? Oh wow. I can go on about these for a while, but just know that they will always be my go-to from this truck. Nice people, tasty food, consistently done. I look forward to trying them again when getting the food and driving back to the social distancing abode isn't a mandate.

The tater tots are crispy, the sausage gravy is yummy, the over medium egg was cooked to perfection, and the freshly cooked bacon brought it over the top. Ain't no pre-made bacon bits around here! Ron (Pop) is serving delicious food with an incredible story. He's a U.S. vet trying to make his and his mom's dreams come true. We didn't do that. Overall, 406 Wingz has decent (large) wings, but they're not inexpensive, but what is anymore? It'll be worth it, though. They don't have precooked wings, so be ready for a wait. I'm okay with that, too. Again, although I'm not sure of the minimum number of wings you can get per flavor, there were no issues with ordering 4 of any one kind and we ordered four of two different flavors: Buffalo Parm and Parm garlic. It wasn't until after we ordered that I noticed a "parm" pattern, so the next time we'll have to explore some other options. Despite our poor planning, we thought the wings were good. With options of pork, beef or vegetarian, the tacos are a wonderful alternative to the everyday. The Frybread is almost like naan in its appearance, but by the time the toppings are added, there's no comparison. Both times I've stopped at this food truck, I've been impressed. The vegetarian taco was delicious. With house-made beans, similar to refried beans, the cheese tomato and creama added a nice balance. Although the menu didn't mention it, either the beans had garlic, or perhaps the frybread, but the taco had an enticing aroma of garlic bread. The frybread was both crispy on the edges and soft in the center, just as it should be. For those with a sweet-tooth, the meal can be topped off with an order of honey bread or wojapi -- made with a Lakota Sioux berry sauce. Both are frybread based. Although I didn't have one this time, I remember the Wojapi as being sweet, but not overly so because the bread kept it from being too much.
