Stopped by while passing through town and got their iced oaxacan mocha. My mom tried their iced cafe de olla. Both drinks were perfect! Not overly sweet but flavorful. They were pretty busy but the wait to get our drinks wasn't long. Inside was clean and the decor itself was really nice. Bummed I don't live close by because I already want to go back for another coffee!

The service here is quick and friendly and it has a very welcoming vibe. Great place to meet up with friends and chat and study if you can do it with a bit of noise. I had a mazapan iced latte and it is one of my favorites. I definitely recommend visiting Hola Cafecito when in Merced.

Hola... Hola. So I totally had no idea you moved into the neighborhood. I am always looking for good cafe options where the coffee is good (and doesn't cost an arm) and where there is plenty of seating, WiFi and bonus if you got plugs. I saw you recently while walking by and knew I had to come by. So I did that same week! My first impressions? Your cafe con leche was lovely. Yummy. A little pricey but I'll blame inflation and chalk it up to small business staying in business donation . I won't pay this at Starbucks but a small chain.. ok. Seating? Plenty. That's great. The only thing is it's so crammed together we are all sliding our way out of our tables. I get it I would cram many tables too. If I was studying it would be ok but taking a business call... feel bad for my neighbors. Plugs. Check. WiFi check. I always look for this info but can never find it. So I am noting it here. Your welcome It's also very loud in here. Some may like it. Others may not. Not a study quiet vibe but more of a lively cafe vibe. Anyhow glad you are here. Merced has too many tire shops, Starbucks, burger places, pizza places... but one I don't mind having more variety are cafes. So welcome. Hope you thrive here. One of these days I'll come to try ur breakfast

Heard they had Proyecto Diaz beans so been wanting to check them out for awhile but wasn't sure when I will be able to check them out since I don't usually visit Merced, and finally got a chance to check them out. Their drinks felt like a little piece of home. Love their blue decor and their hospitality and cozy ambiance. Tried their Iced Dirty Horchata, Iced Oaxacan Mocha, hot Cafe de Olla

mazapán latte was really delicious! make sure to stir to get the mazapán at the bottom to get the nutty taste. the salted maple latte is pretty salty so be warned! it's still good and something i would get again but if someone was wondering about it here it is. the matcha was not the best, had clumps at the bottom and the side and just wasn't up to my friends' standards. friendly employees and pretty fast service considering there was very few people in there. i'd come again!

Study friendly for those who want to sip & be a scholar hehe. Yum! All of their workers were extra sweet just like their coffee! Love how they're nice, new, and have the hint of the Spanish feel. I ordered the TBA Bagel but asked to swap the bagel for white bread and they were nice and served me with my request off the menu!

Saw this place on Yelp and decided to stop by on my way to the Bay Area. The coffee shop has a really cute decor and vibe and the girl who took our order was really sweet. We tried the Mazapan Latte & Banana Latte. Both were so good! Will def be back again!

Can you say, "Delicioso"?! You will if you stop by Hola Cafecito on Main Street. On the way to an appointment, I found a new coffee house. The vibe is chill with friends , reading a book ; "I am studying, don't bother me." Greeted with a smile and received coffee recommendation from the gentleman upon entry. I will return soon.

I had a wonderful first visit to this darling coffee shop easy access from the Main Street! Lots of natural light, beautifully decorated and wonderful service. I had the cafe de olla and it was delish! It was late in the day so I went decaf but it was scrumptious! I'll be back! Check it out!

5 stars Hola Cafecito Specialty Coffee - Merced, CA Walked into Hola Cafecito and felt like I was in the middle of a morning community moment--strollers, laughter, warm conversation floating in the air. The ambiance? Clean and smooth. It's got that drop-in coffee shop vibe without feeling chaotic. Service was prompt, friendly, and helpful. The menu's interesting and creative. I ordered the café de olla latte--it came in a beautiful blue cup with artful foam, and it hit all the right notes. Spiced, smooth, and satisfying. Only hiccup? The name had me expecting a straight-up cafecito, but oddly, I didn't see that listed. When I asked, we seemed to be talking about different things. Maybe just a me thing or a menu clarification thing. Still, that didn't take away from the experience. I'd gladly go back. Good coffee, good people, and a space that feels like it belongs to the community. Just gonna set this here, just in case: Here's a simple, classic Cuban-style cafecito recipe: Ingredients: * 1/4 cup finely ground Cuban espresso (e.g., Café Bustelo or Pilon) * 1/4 cup sugar (traditionally white) * 3/4 cup water Equipment: * Moka pot (stovetop espresso maker) Steps: 1. Brew espresso: Fill the bottom of the Moka pot with water and the filter with coffee grounds (packed slightly). Assemble and place on medium heat. 2. Make the espumita: While the coffee brews, add sugar to a small bowl. As soon as a few drops of brewed espresso come out (just the first concentrated drips), pour about 1-2 tablespoons over the sugar. 3. Whip: Use a spoon to vigorously stir the sugar and coffee into a pale, thick paste (this is your espumita). 4. Finish: Once the rest of the coffee is brewed, pour it slowly into the espumita, stirring gently to blend. 5. Serve: Pour into small cups. It should have a frothy top layer from the espumita.

Yummy bagels! I…read morestopped by Bagel Tyme with some friends on a weekend morning. If I could describe this place in one word it would be "BUSY." The line to order was wrapped around inside the shop and out the door. I would say the bagels are 100% worth the wait though. They offer a wide variety of fresh bagels, cream cheeses, and toppings. They even have a sandwich menu! I ordered the Beesting Bagel Sandwich which comes on your choice of bagel with egg, bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and a hot honey drizzle. It was absolutely delicious! The bagels were super soft with a nice crust on the outside. The cream cheese was perfectly thick and creamy. The hot honey drizzle really tied everything together well! Because it was so busy, it did take a while to receive our food. The line to order, although long, did go by pretty quickly. There were some tables inside but it was too crowded to find a spot. Luckily we were able to find a table outside while we waited for our orders. Whenever an order was ready, the workers walked around both inside and outside shouting the name of the order which made it convenient for us to not have to fight the crowd to the counter. The only issue I felt there was was the cleanliness. When you are standing inside, you can quite literally see years of caked on dirt on some of the not frequently touched surfaces. The lamps probably had an inch of dust built up. Although this isn't the most important detail, it still makes me question the cleanliness of the whole establishment. Despite this, I won't be held back from revisiting if I am in the area again!

They also missed on my son's order, he ordered two bagels and only got one, so he had to go back and order the second one again. The bagels themselves were good, and the place has a nice independent vibe. I wanted to like it, and would go back, just wish they would listen better.

I wasn't very hungry, so I opted for a bowl of soup with a side of cornbread and a slice of pie to go. The soup was hearty and plentiful. I could have gone for a cup instead, but instead took what I couldn't eat to-go and enjoyed it later. The corn bread was delicious--slightly sweet, and moist enough to not fall apart when I cut into it with my fork. I usually love butter with corn bread, which they offered me, but it didn't need it. I wasn't sure which pie to get-they have so many to pick from. Checking out the options in the bakery case didn't help because they all looked so beautiful. I ended up selecting peach, and it was amazing. The peaches were perfectly caramelized but still maintained their texture. The bake of the pie brought out their ultimate peachiness. The crust was just the right thickness. Even though it was a cold slice, the crust remained flakey. The cafe had ample seating. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Pricing is on the high end, but I'm not sure how much that is because food is so expensive now-a-days. I was a bit surprised to see sandwich combos (with a side) all starting at around $20, and going up from there. It was after 2 in the afternoon, so the bakery had several 50% off boxes of baked goods to select. Four large cookies for I believe $12 or so (I could be wrong). There weren't too many options left in the bakery cases. I would love to see what this place offers when it first opens. Stay tuned for an update once I get that chance.
