Holabird Sports is indeed the best shop for tennis in the DMV. If you're a player, I'm sure you're familiar with online shops like Tennis Warehouse and Tennis Express. Well, Holabird is that just local. Their shoes selection for both tennis and running is huge. I was equally impressed with their racquet, apparel and accessories. Honestly, whereas is was the merchandise brought me to this location, it's the friendly and easy going staff that keeps me coming back. I've had an unique experience with everyone from the owner, who introduced himself and shared his vision with me, to floor associates whom we discussed anything from music to jewelry, etc... But back to the owner. My encounter with him was genuine and seamless. He left me with his business card and ask that I reach out to him for anything. Now that's how a business should feel. Much like Chick fil a, this store gets it! So Yelpers, run don't walk to Holabird. If you need gear for tennis, running, racquetball or pickle ball, it's a player's paradise. I live in Southern MD and I still make the trip. To management and staff of Holabird, you deserve this 5 Star review. Thanks

Don't let negative people who are NEVER satisfied when spending a lot of money steer you away from this business. They are ROCK STARS!!!! I ordered 2 pairs of Hoka Mach 5's last week from a scam website, and when I didn't get a confirmation, I reached out directly to Louie Silverio because he was responding to all of the disgruntled customer reviews. He informed me that I was scammed and told me to how resolve it. After getting is cleared up, I came back to the real website and placed an order today for the Hoka Mach 5's. I was a little gun shy from the last purchase, so I reached out to their team to ask for an update on the shipping (I ordered next day air), and received an email from Jane and a call from Deb. Both were very apologetic about MY misunderstanding. Deb is very sweet, and extremely helpful. She is also open and honest and explained that Next Day Air didn't include Saturday delivery, but would check to see what the difference in cost would be. She called me back almost 15 minutes later (promised it would be within 20), and said it would be a difference of $45. She then said that she would schedule it for Saturday delivery if I wanted, but thought it was very expensive considering I was already getting a discount on the Next Day Air. I agreed and can't wait to wear the new shoes on Monday.

I went to the physical store to try and find some pickleball shoes. I felt that trying shoes on would be better than just ordering online. The store had a huge selection of all types of sneakers. They have a simple system of having you look through the selection of shoes and then fill out a list of up to four shoes you'd like to try on. You then give the list to an associate and then someone will bring them out to you. I was fortunate to have Tom as my sales associate. He was very knowledgeable and encouraged me to try a couple of different brands of court shoes. I selected my shoe and Tom said "That's a great shoe and I'm glad you picked that one." I went home and played two hours of pickleball and they felt perfect...no breaking in period at all.

My experience with Holabird is via internet only. I have never been to the physical store location. Holabird CONSISTENTLY has the best prices in running shoes. I only run in Mizuno, and those babies run $110+ in any physical store. At holabirdsports.com, I can always get them at $69-$89 PLUS free shipping! If it's the brand new version of a shoe, you might have to wait several months, but they always go on sale. Baltimore being so close and all, I almost always get my shoes in 2-4 days. AND they usually throw in a free something with the order. I even once got a free pair of running shorts! I haven't shopped anywhere else for running shoes since I discovered them, which was over six years ago.

I have been an online customer of Holabird Sports for nearly twenty years. I wear out a pair of running shoes fairly quickly and usually buy shoes several pairs at a time. Holabird's prices for brand name running shoes are incredibly low and they charge a single shipping fee of five dollars or so regardless of the size of your order or where you live. In order to keep the shipping fee low they will often vacuum seal the original shoe box, put it into an oversized shipping bag and send it off via UPS or DHL Ground. Your shoe box is mangled up sometimes, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with the shoes. Holabird Sports specializes in shoes, apparel and equipment mainly for tennis, squash and racquetball, but they carry nearly every name brand for current and previous year models of running shoes. They also carry Body Glide products. The service is fairly fast too with your products ordered received in no more than a week. If you want the latest in running shoe models and technology but you're tired of spending the MSRP, check out Holabird Sports. Chances are you'll find some amazing low prices.

Happy trails! Asics from Holabird Sports.

They offered me $9.99 for a pair of boots that retail at $99.99. Thankfully, the manager at this White Marsh location who's name is Tanisha was very polite and understanding of my situation. She explained why the other location was just offering the $10. But we agreed that how the situation was handled could have been better. She offered to make it right within her authorization. Unfortunately, it's the end of boot season and DSW in general stocks very few women's size 10 anything. So I was unable to find a comparable exchange. However, because of her respect for me and her compassion towards the situation, I did purchase a pair of shoes outright. I had originally been frequenting this location just because I enjoy the shopping center it's in. I had only gone to Towson the one time because it's closer to me. But I will never set foot in the Towson location again and will continue to go to White Marsh where I am respected and appreciated as their customer. Thank you Tanisha and team. You always make my shoe shopping a little better.

It has all outdoor parking and there is lighting and "security crew?" that drive around-more on that later. This mall has been through many changes and has survived the pandemic surprisingly well considering the other places that have closed down. That is a plus for them. However they have not been able to get the stores back to fill the openings and the stores there now aren't all encompassing. They are more like a lot of individual stores (all random -for a particular group). They have the big stores Macys, JCPenney, boscovs and the Sears closed. Other stores are, hemp tattoos, hat shops, shoe stores, eateries (not much keto or vegan but can be found), bath shops, I think the mall is so empty because of this and it was a day trip. They have 2 escalators on each end of the mall and an elevator in the center in front of food court. They could use another with strollers & wheelchairs etc. They are handicap accessible and parking isn't too bad. Depends on how far you can walk. The security is a problem for me. When first opened the security was excellent! Now I don't go there anymore at night because there have been many people carjacked, attacked and robbed, women attacked in front of people and "security?" As for the "security people " I had an issue with a carful of people who hit my truck while I was sitting in a parking space. They tried to drive away and I got my phone out and recorded them leaving and laughing as I got out to check my truck. They saw me and came back yelling "you recording us?" I said yes, you hit my truck and drove away and I was in the truck. I got the plate for police. They came at me as I got in my truck. I saw "security " and waved them over to my dismay they were not helping me but cheering the people on!! I was on phone with local police at that point and I told them I didn't feel safe and that the "security " weren't there to help. They told me they know, it's a problem and they (police) don't usually respond to calls from people for assistance bc of the security people ". I got his name and the rest and went on to the police station by my house. They listened. My biggest concern here is everyone safety. 1/5 for safety The deals are great at the big stores like Macy, Boscovs and JCPenney. I did score big deals in boscovs. From clothing, house wares, holiday gifts and decorations, jewelry, and other unique coastal items. Overall I recommend the mall but beware this time of year when it gets dark early! I think if you go during the day you will be fine and check out the deals in boscovs and Macys. I didn't notice alot of holiday decorations up in the mall but they were pretty decorative in the stores. Cleanliness 3/5 Parking 4/5 -handicap accessible Restrooms-2/5 hit or miss whether you can find a clean one. Variety of stores 3/5 Happy shopping

National anchors include Gabe's and JCPenney, with local businesses occupying other anchor spaces. The interior is filled with many local businesses, some of which have started closing sales. It has a food court that was busy during my stop and still has food stands. The mall does have a basement, which has office space, and Ultrazone Baltimore, a Lazer tag place that also has arcade machines. Office space also exists above the food court, but that was largely empty. The condition of the mall overall was good with the plants still being watered. While the mall does look dated, I could find no reason the owners would want to shut it down. This is an alive, almost vibrant mall that by the end of August will be no more. It's a real shame.

I grew up in Dundalk. My grandmother used to take me to Eastpoint as a child. I went to see Santa…read morethere, the Easter Bunny. A hundred stores must have come and gone since then. It's a sad shell of a space now. To think there used to be penguins and monkeys there. Eastpoint is now a popular local meme: "If Eastpoint Mall hasn't given up neither should you"... However, several stores and kiosks are still decorated for Christmas and it's August, so I don't know about the "not giving up" part. I have never seen so many downtrodden employees, lounging in empty stores, scrolling aimlessly through their phones. They know no one is coming to save them from the relentless boredom. Someone will rob one of the jewelry stores, if they're lucky. There are three food stalls in the food court: a Japanese place that doesn't give samples (I grew up having sample givers chase us through half the food court), a chicken box/fish spot, and the pizza place that has been there since the dawn of time. Nothing substantial. Definitely nothing that could be called a national chain. Want a cheeseburger? You're going to have to leave the mall and walk across the parking lot to McDonald's. JC Penney is the only anchor store, which never bodes well. Value City is gone. I swear my mom must have bought 90% of her furniture there. Remember when there was an Ames there? Or the Kmart? There's a haunted house in that space now. How very Dundalk. What other mall do you know that has a haunted house in it? There wasn't anything that I particularly wanted to buy out in the mall. I like to take a spin through about once a year. Watch the slow decay of yet another happy memory of my childhood (we used to go to the Friendly's there - it was across from the Brass Hen - and that's where I learned I love black raspberry ice cream, for example). I won't be surprised when it finally closes. I'll be sad, but that's the fall of capitalism for you. It's a race to the ultimate finish line between Eastpoint and Marley Station in Glen Bernie. It'll be interesting to see which survives the longest.
