Not only does this shop show incompetence in their ability to fix problems without repeat visits that last weeks, they are also rude and unprofessional. My son called the so called owner to ask why his car was taking so long, and he was called a Punk Ass kid. Unacceptable! There are much better repair shops in the area that treat you with respect and don't try to rip you off. Stay away from MTA! read more

My previous review I gave them 5 stars and said nothing but good things. Well after my experience today my review is a complete 180. I called last week to get a price on 4 new tires and a wheel alignment. I was told I was looking at somewhere between 500-600. I than asked how long the job will take and was told about two hours. I made an appointment for today and had the car in at 8am. Again I asked how long and again told two hours did I want to wait. Obviously I wasn't going to sit there two hours so I went home. By about 11:30 or so I had not heard from them so I called and was told they had not started on my vehicle yet, but would be shortly. I explained I had a 3pm appointment so please get the job done. At 1pm I still had not heard a word, again I called. Got some other guy believe he said his name was rich. He was nasty and arrogant. When I said I was told two hours he said no you weren't. We don't give times. I explained that I absolutely was told two hours and asked if I wanted to wait. His response was that whoever told me made a mistake and should never of given me a time. Bottom line I was called at 4pm to say car was done. So what should of taken 2 hours took 8 hours. Oh, and the 500-600 I was quoted turned into over 700. They not only lost a good customer but I will tell anyone and everyone I speak with to stay clear of this place. I could not believe how nasty that one guy got. Maybe, just maybe if he apologized and said I'm so sorry we got very backed up I would of considered going back. Now hell would have to freeze over before I ever step foot in that joint again. read more

Suggested to me by family. In fact my family went here for years. I guess richie thought he could pull a fast one. My car had several problems. After realizing a pattern that I was spending hundreds of dollars a couple times and the original problem was never fixed. But I was still charged for other repairs which he probably never even performed. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Guys are great and honest. Had a lot of trouble with my 2002 f150 and 1995 camry. Today they run like a top thanks to these guys. Rich is great. The reason why I say 4 stars is they can be expensive but you get what you pay for. If you are steady customers they usually take off 15%, to give you a break. read more

I took my car to another shop regarding a check engine light. They quoted me $900, saying two parts had to be changed. I brought it to MTA for a second opinion, under recommendations from a friend. Richie was so helpful and personable. He pulled out diagrams and explained to me how the parts involved worked. It turns out I only needed one part changed instead of the two. The total came out to be less than $500. And my cars been running fine since. I am a young 20 something year old female and it feels good to have a place I know I wont be taken advantage of. read more

I brought in my car for a routine inspection and oil change at 9 am on 1/27/2018 and left to get back to my house and await a call when it was finished. On this day, a Saturday, I was aware that they close at noon. At about 11 am I decided to call the business to inquire about the car and if it would be finished before closing time. During the call, I had Richard Sayres, the owner, on speaker with my wife and son because it was my son's car and I wanted everyone to hear how the car was doing. Mr. Sayres belittled my wife with condescending and rude comments over a simple inquiry. My son then attempted to remedy the situation and Mr. Sayres greeted him by screaming on the phone and using numerous expletives and then hanging up on us. According to Mr. Sayres, it was not allowed to check up on the car and that is what caused such a problem. Based on his behavior, we were concerned about the state of the car and wanted to go pick it up. Unbeknownst to us, Mr. Sayres never worked on the car, even though he claimed that he was when we were on the phone with him, and left it in the parking lot without ever telling us. My family and I felt disrespected, mistreated, slighted, and my wife felt scared after being berated on the phone. I am disappointed that this happened and will never go here again after my family has been so verbally assaulted over a simple communicative phone call and not even a complaint. read more
