When we first arrived at Holey bagels we didn't know what to expect because it doesn't look like a restaurant or a market and it's not fancy but do not be fooled! The food is AMAZING! My son got a plain bagel with cream cheese and crushed hot Cheetos, my other son got chow mein egg fried rice, and orange chicken he said "I didn't know Chinese food could be this good!" We also got mango fruit tea with popping boba and Thai tea. The service was very excellent! They were very kind and friendly. The ambiance wasn't great but the menus looked amazing and pictured the food perfectly. Very chill and a great spot to hit the spot! The breakfast burritos are really delicious and easily sharable as a "two-meal" opportunity. They are not inexpensive but food prices everywhere are impacted. It's worth it as a once in a while treat. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with any question. Be sure to give them. read more

I was skeptical about getting anything here at first. A lonely Asian shop in the middle of nowhere. But they did not disappoint! I got the bagel mi, and to me, it was American bagel, Panda Express, and lee's sandwiches all merged into one! A triple whammy!! Three comfort foods in one!! Not sure if I'm disclosing the recipe here, but from my deconstruction of the bagel, it was a choice of bagel (I got their pesto bagel), pate spread, Costco deli ham, pickled carrot & radish, fish cake, pork belly, jalapeño, mayo, and a drizzle of orange chicken sauce. I feel like I'm missing an ingredient here, but this was amazing! I also got a jalapeño cheese bagel with garlic herb cream cheese. Not so much here to brag about. SO GOOD!! Coming from a city with more Asian delis and markets than I can count, Ukiah was sorely missing a place like this! The mandarin chicken was freshly fried in a super balanced sauce that didn't sog up the breading, not goopy and sweet like most orange chicken. Fried rice and chow mein were both really tasty, but the rice especially stood out. Subtle flavor and perfect texture! Kimchi was bright and not too spicy, and also a really good amount for the price. Not to mention their boba and all of the Asian groceries they stock! Their jalapeño chicken is wildly delicious and spicy, with large portion sizes. Their chow mein is also fantastic, with huge thick bouncy noodles and portions fit for 2 people in some cases. I haven't been in. Their prices are also incredibly reasonable. I only wish the chow mein came with more veggies. read more

Walked in confused and hungry. Didn't know what it was walking in, didn't know what it was walking out. Delicious. 5 stars. Asian Market definitely but with shelves as empty as they were full. A hot bar that was reminiscent of a food truck with food only a real mom & pop shop can make, none of the inauthentic asian fast food flavour, only MSG goodness here. Friendly staff, and weird benevolent ambiance of a liminal space mixed in with an early 2000s deli. The food was fantastic. Bagels were huge and delicious, the baked goods were just as indulgent as they were large. The chow mein, chicken, and fried rice were all very promising looking and the rice was fantastic. Buttery, salty, filling, none of the weird dryness that comes with microwaved rice or a lack of cooking. Perfection. I'm still not sure exactly what Holey Bagels is, but I would come back. read more

This place is awesome, came in to try some boba and they knocked it out of the park. They have a bunch of flavors and I picked taro with regular boba, and it was awesome. It's been a long time since i've had taro boba that tastes this good. We were happy to visit Holey Bagels and Asian Market this weekend. They have a kitchen in the back, so cook up the foods fresh you. We tried the chow mein with Mandarin chicken, fried rice with stir fried pork belly, Banh Mi bagel and imperial rolls -- all were fresh and excellent. The kids also had boba tea. They have a small market with lots of noodle choices, frozen dumplings and other Asian staples. I bought some tamarind concentrate, which I'd been looking for to try out a chicken recipe. read more

Heard about this place by a couple of my coworkers and wanted to give a try. Wasn't really expecting much because I don't get too excited for bagels but let me tell you. Not too big and not too small of a menu, a lot of different mouth watering options. From bagels, to burritos, to dessert and even boba! Very friendly environment and very welcoming and would highly recommend! And the nice thing about this little business, is they have a little Asian store full of different snacks and food to make at home. I can see this place expanding becoming a lot bigger with a lot more variety of goodies. 10/10 would recommend to anybody and to support your local businesses read more

HOLEY MOLEY!!! This place has amazing Asian food. We tried the pork belly and orange chicken with fried rice and noodles. All components of the dish were perfect from the meat to fat ratio of the tender pork belly to the super flavorful tender orange chicken. The fried rice was delicious and well balanced to where to could taste the hint of garlic and sesame as well as the peas and carrots in the rice. Yes I said you can actually taste the peas and carrots. The noodles were perfectly soft and tasty with the bell pepper etc. Nothing was over greasy at all. This places food far surpasses that other place across the street from Costco, you all know which one I mean...P.... E.... The customer service at Holey Moley goes above and beyond. The young man at the counter was very kind and informative. So if you are looking for some super tasty Asian food that's hot and on point(nothing was dry or anything like that) look no further than Holey Moley Bagels.
