The Service needs improvement

I know the pasteries are good but I waited in an almost empty store while 4 employees found other things to do. After too long, I left and went to Safeway where I bought half-a-dozen delicious cream pasteries.

Soup of the day. Vegetable and meatball soup

The service was great. Extremely friendly and helpful. Brought the food to your table. This location is in a hardware store so if the address is not right, it's the other Schats. Not pictured is a roast beef sandwich. The bread was so fresh as well as the roast beef. They had other baked good and of course fresh baked bread to buy. Love this bakery.

We always go to the downtown location and order takeout online. I love their sandwiches a wraps but it seems to be getting more inconsistent. Today I ordered the Cobb wrap with vinegar and oil and when we picked it up it was a wait of 20 minutes past the pickup time. We went to the park to eat and the paper it was wrapped in was dripping in oil. The bag had a puddle of oil in the bottom and my hand was covered in oil by the time I unwrapped it. It was a mess. Almost impossible to eat and never tasted a bit of vinegar. I ended up throwing it away. Very disappointing. I'm not sure we will be going back again. Rude service staff at this location but I've always liked the food so I've tolerated it but not worth it anymore.

Bad tomato, hard lettuce core, and rusty lettuce pieces.

Just wanted to say your white chocolate mocha is delicious and it's better than anything starpuke has to offer.

Went in for a quick snack and ordered a lemon bar. It was DISGUSTING. The custard was gummy and the crust dry and flavorless.

Hubby ordered the jalapeño cream cheese crepe. His was very meh looking. My sandwich was tasty. After savory foods, we shared the s'mores crepe. It was good. Nothing amazing, but a good, solid crepe. There were plenty of tables for the small place and service was nice enough. They brought the food out to us after we ordered at the counter. I had wanted to have a coffee to accompany my dessert crepe, but all the had were frou from sweet coffee drinks. I asked the staff if they had regular drip coffee, but she asked if I wanted a latte or mocha... so they didn't know how to make straight coffee or even basic espresso drinks. That was unfortunate, so I walked down the street to the coffee shop to get one and come back. Oh well.

This place is fantastic. I'm visiting Ukiah for the first time for work but live in Sacramento…read more I'll be coming back to Ukiah with my family just to come to Crepas. Mediterranean veggie wrap: It takes someone special to make a veggie dish into something so sinfully delightful, that makes me looking forward to shoving the next bite into my maw while the first bite is still in there. Mazipan iced latte: Caramel and cinnamon, with chopped up graham cracker crust (like the bottom of a cheesecake) to slurp up and chew on like boba. This is the star of the show. Soooo goooooood. Fantastic place.

The food was also very amazing. They served some complimentary bread with a butter cup for each person at the start of the meal. Entrees: -Cioppino: $42. This one has a bit of everything if you can't decide. The tomato base was great. It's good for dipping the bread. -Pork & duck agnolotti: $32. -Duck breast: $43. Flavor was good. -Black cod: $43. Delicious. 10 out of 10 recommend. -Halibut (special): $45. Great char and crisp on top. Risotto had good flavor too. Dessert: -Panna cotta: $14. The name sounded better than the taste. This was a bit of a let down for me. Too many chia seeds and not enough orange and strawberry. -Ice cream (3 flavors): $14. Mint chip ("world's best"!), brownies & cream, pistachio. I highly recommend the mint chip. I think vanilla bean would have been really good also! Wifi available. Need to ask for password. Parking was easy to find on the street. This area looks very residential. Bathroom available. The restaurant is small so walking around felt slightly claustrophobic. There's foie gras on the menu, so I would try that next time!

I got to sample a few other items and everything was excellent. The huckleberry pancakes were rich, buttery, and incredible, and the eggs Benedict was perfectly done. The shakshuka was flavorful and a bit spicy, but really good overall. So why 3 stars...it was the service from our waiter, who was super quite grumpy and mostly monosyllabic, which was surprising given how good everything else was.
