Going on a road trip with three kids. Found this amazing Mexican ice cream store cute ambience inside our server. Jenny was super friendly and explained all the flavors to us. All the kids were excited with the Paletas! They got the watermelon ones which they enjoyed. Our youngest son got the kiwi and strawberry which he enjoyed. My wife got the rose flavor, which tasted like Faluda. ( Indian/Farsi dessert) . I loved my chili, tamarindo and mango flavor. It was spicy and tangy. I really like this ice cream shop. I'm a big fan of ice cream shops that make their own fresh goodies. I have a couple of bitches though. This was my first taste of Mexican style flavors. I was a little grossed out by the flavors that I picked for my big 2 scoop cone. I thought my scoops would be safe choices. The vanilla ice cream, Mexican style, had a bit of a burned malt taste--not my favorite. And the coffee ice cream, Mexican style, had a cheap instant coffee taste--again, not my favorite. I totally busted the 2 young girls goofing off. And they were completing lacking in any knowledge of the ice cream and they weren't able to answer any of my basic questions. This seems to be common problem in ice cream shops, staffed with pimple faced kids, goofing off, with no knowledge, and no customer service skills. Can we have at least one mature person over 30 on hand to keep things under control? I'll come back to try more flavors. I would have given it a 5 for the ice cream, but that's not all there is to a review. The selection was awesome and the ice creams looked great, but our server didn't know much about the shop. Being allergic to eggs, I have to the careful abiut some ice creams. The server said she didn't know and was not going to take any effort to find out. As we pressed her for more information, about to leave, her coworker stepped in and let us know it was all egg free. Once we knew it was safe and we were trying to choose flavors, I asked the server what a certain type was. Her reply was, again, "I don't know". We ended up settling on some obvious flavors: caramel & Cream and Pistacio. Both were delicious. We will come back, for the ice cream-not the service. read more

Excellent and tasty ice cream and other Popsicles with a variety of flavors. Some of my favorite have been quince, Mexican, chocolate, tequila, and mint.
