    Beautiful display

This was a such nice experience while visiting Madison. It was free with donations accepted. You can slowly drive thru or people stroll, run, and walk their dogs. I wanted to get some exercise so I asked if I could go back through while walking my dog and they said it was fine. Parking is nearby. While walking, I noticed cords were everywhere and on the grass it wasn't that safe if you weren't paying attention. I think with covid going on, is passing out candy canes the smartest idea right now? Have to knock a couple stars off due to safety negligence.

Worth visiting! It was a very joyful experience for me and my family. It's worth preserving as part of Madison's holiday traditions.

What a wonderful holiday light display! It's a plus that you don't have to get out of the car to see all the beautiful light displays! Stay nice and toasty inside the car while listening to Xmas music as you see Bucky Badger, the Capitol, Yelp doggie and MANY others! No reall winter to speak of this year...this will get get you in the Holiday spirit for sure!

It feels like a long time ago since we've been here, but it looks like there were more lights this time around. We came around 10:30pm on Christmas and there was still a lot of cars coming in and driving through more than once. It was fun to see the Yelp display!

Our family favorite is the glowing Capitol light display on front of the actual Capitol glistening on Lake Monona.

Visit the birthplace of modern astrophysics!…read more Yerkes Observatory is a historic astronomical research facility that was founded in 1897 by astronomer George Ellery Hale. It's known as the "birthplace of modern astrophysics," and it houses the world's largest refracting telescope, with a 40-inch lens. Fair warning: This isn't a place you can just pop in and visit, like a museum. It's more like a public education center, and I believe you can only visit by booking a tour online. They also offer workshops and put on the occasional festival. During the tour, you can explore the building's beautiful architecture, learn about the history of the observatory, attend a lecture or stargazing event, and visit the out-of-this-world gift shop, full of astronomy-themed souvenirs for all ages. Depending on the type of tour you book, you might even be able to gaze at planets and stars through the telescope. Tours require climbing stairs and sometimes navigating through some tight spaces, so they aren't accessible. Tours cost money, but it's free to walk around the outside of the observatory and explore the arboretum. This is a really cool place to learn about space and the area's history with astrophysics. My group was highly entertained by our tour guide, Walt, so if he is leading your tour, you're in for a treat.

First, you cannot beat the price. You are getting gold for pennies. I got a 2 bedroom with a 2 car…read moregarage for under 1G. You cannot beat it. The neighborhood is quiet. It's also convenient because you are within walking distance from a park. If you go more south, you are also within walking distance from the woods if you want to take a walk there. At night, you are close enough to the country where you do not get all that light pollution so you can actually go star gazing with your lady and have a good time. Next, dishwasher and washer and dryer. Seriously, if I spend $30/month washing my clothes at a laundry mat. It's so convenient to have it in the apartment. With any apartment that does not have a dishwasher is living in medieval times. Most places have dishwashers nowadays but it's usually more expensive for that luxury. I was extremely impressed with everything. Sandy is awesome. She GETS STUFF DONE!!!! I was moving from Illinois and the only time I was able to come up was the weekend. She met with me over the weekend to hand over the keys and have me sign the paper work (weekends are her days off like most hard working people). Her dog is fun too (i say it's a cat because it's so small). Sandy also needed to do some extra paperwork when I got a roommate a few months moving in and she was extremely helpful. Marc is a great Landlord. I had 1 problem with the belt on the garage door and he got someone to fix within a few hours. Very respectable and you can tell right away that he wants to give you the best. Also, I got my full security deposit back. COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED because this usually never happens to me. But I got a friend to help me clean EVERYTHING. Overall, this is a great place. 1. You can't beat the price (Washer/dryer, garage and dishwasher) 2. Location (quiet, safe. No light pollution) 3. The service is no less than outstanding (Both Sandy, Marc and the maintenance crew work hard so that you can have a good stay) 4. If you are a decent tenant, it's rewarding. If I move back into the area, this will be my first choice.
