Well, I thought my hair looked good, until I got home and got a good look at the back. The texture and layers I asked for came out super choppy and uneven (not the way that layers are supposed to look). Blending is obviously not a thing, here. It's way shorter than I asked for. And not I'm going to have to go even shorter to yet it fixed. Absolutely horrible. I asked her to style it with edgy type of texture and she ended up blow dry curling it, and now I know why. That's what I thought she should be the right person for that position but instead she treated me not right plus wasted my whole week waiting for my appointment after getting so excited to dye my hair i came week before to figure out what to do with my hair she said to me all i wanna hear and set the appointment and once i came to do my hair she was like i never told you that you could get the hair color that you want from the first time and some other BS thing ,she got me really pissed one lady works there I believe she is Iraqi-an she was really friendly and tried to fix what her manger messed it up she was trying to help me and get it figured she was having another customer on her hand and was talking to me just to make me stay and wait for my appointment then here we go the manager again was very rude I promised my self will never go back to that salon (holiday salon) is the worst one read more

My boyfriend insists that a good girlfriend is willing to give you a buzz cut, even if she has no haircutting experience. I insist otherwise. So, he goes to Saturday's. He's been going there as long as I've known him. Though he's 25, they let him get the kid-cut price since he only ever asks for a basic buzz to trim. A lot of the time, he just semi-spontaneously decides to get his hair cut while we're out, so I end up going with him. They take walk-ins. They're hardly ever busy, so there's never a wait. I however, do have to wait a few minutes for Greg to get taken care of. That's okay though because they have a decent magazine selection and some semi-plorable hair books. There's also a kid's corner - this is obviously a place for moms. That being said, I would never get my hair cut here. I have a rule. If the hairdresser has a less-than-desirable cut, I don't trust her. These ladies all have middle-aged haircuts, and they do funny things like wear antlers in the winter to be cute. We always have to trim his 'bangs' at home, because they don't do a very good job evening them out. And they leave his shirt and neck all furry, so he has to take a shower and change clothes afterwards. But for less than $10, what do you expect? Decent for guys and kids looking for simple haircuts, but as a lady, I'm going elsewhere. read more

My experience here started great and I really enjoyed Rusty. She was AMAZING and I'd still recommend her - but my last visit ((Rusty NOT involved)) was decent but it's what happened after that upset me. I asked for a root touch up - I can honestly say it was not even 1-inch worth of hair and was charged for an all over color of $80!! When I called to ask about ((saw the receipt after I left)). I was told it was the same no matter what. They asked if I wanted to speak with a manager, I said yes, so I was put on hold and they came back to take my name and number and told me I'd hear back that same day or next. A week later I had to call back and was told it was the same price no matter what ((still no manager)). Before I called back, I called the Holiday Hair up the road where they told me there WAS a price difference. The location on Hilliard Rome ((Westpointe)) stated who ever told me that was wrong and Holiday Hair company policy doesn't distinguish those services separately. I'm just extremely upset and disappointed. If you're going to charge someone $80 for a root touch up and the all over is the same price I should have been asked if I wanted an all over or some better explanations need made. Maybe it's me - but that's INSANE!! Also, thank you to the manager who cares so much to call back!! It's now the principle of their crappy customer service ((manager)) why I'll never step foot in here again. read more

When I showed the employee the picture the insulted me. She told me I was never gonna look like that. Then she charged me extra for a little more shampoo. I only go here for facial waxing and the service is so inconsistent. After having my brows done yesterday and the redness going away, I now see that they completely took the arch out of my brows. I was very specific on how I wanted them and they're completely messed up now. There always seems to be a lack of professionalism (both in appearance and decorum) here- but they are convenient and cheap. I now see I need to pay more. read more

Well... I've been coming here for about a little over a year. The last 2 haircuts I received were just ok...went to get a haircut today at 1130...NOBODY in the waiting area and 2 stylists helping 2 customers in the cut area. Usually there is a few people in the waiting area so I thought..wow I can get in and out pretty quick! It took about 2 minutes for someone to come up and ask me what I wanted (duh a haircut) ...then I was rudely told "There is a half an hour wait." I was confused...and looked at the clerk(who had a very defiant look on her face) and said."wow..I don't have that long." She simply said sorry and walked back to her chair..leaving me there! She clearly said that she woudlnt wash my hair cause i didnt want length off. I went here about a month ago for a haircut/highlights. When I first arrived the lady (I'm assuming the one in charge) was a little rude about not having time at the moment and said that there were no openings. She asked if I wanted to come back. I arrived a few hours later and the girl who did my hair barely said a few words to me the entire time she was doing my hair and was gossiping about personal issues. I was in the salon for 3 hours. The cut was great however my highlights were not up to the roots underneath and now I am self conscious about wearing my hair certain ways. I will probably color it here soon to cover it up. I went in for a simple haircut a week ago last Friday. The stylist did not cut my bangs & sideburns as per my request. I went back this past Friday but the stylist was not there. The "stylist" who ended up with me not only did not listen but made it worse. I asked for my sideburns to be tight but she cut it straight! I asked my bangs to be more jagged but she cut it all uneven. She asked another stylist what she should use for a straight cut for the other side. I told her I never said "straight". She said she misunderstood. How do you misunderstand "straight" for "tight"??? She then started cutting other area that I did not ask for. I told her to stop immediately. Luckily, my hair does grow fast & I can have it fixed somewhere else later. In the meantime I wanted a decent hair cut for an out-of-town meeting & hopefully no one will notice my lopsided bangs and bad sideburns!! read more

Generally I'm very picky about who cuts my hair, and lately I've been rocking a short pixie cut which requires a lot of maintenance. I had been putting off getting the hair at the base of my neck trimmed because I didn't want to pay a lot to get it done (I love my usual salon but they are expensive). I decided on a whim to go into the Saturday's because it's so close to my house and I just needed a simple trim at the base of my neck. This turned out to be a horrible idea! The stylist insisted on washing my hair which I thought was weird, then when she actually did the cutting she cut off huge chunks from the base of my neck at a time. I asked her to blend it better because it looked horrible but that only resulted in her cutting even MORE hair off the back of my head. She then attempted to "style" my hair by blow drying it and saying "oops" when she turned me around to face the mirror (my hair way sticking up in every direction). I suggested more than once several ways to fix her crazy styling mistakes but she ignored me and ended up just using a straightener (she used no heat protector by the way) and a bunch of wax to slick down my hair. I finally just said yea thats good, paid and left. I didn't know what else to do because every time I asked her to do something she made it worse. She charged me for a full hair cut even though she only cut the back of my hair. Now not only did I have to pay for that hair cut but I will have to pay for a second one to fix her mistakes. read more
