Wow....I'm totally spa drunk writing this review. I had the most amazing day at Bella Capelli with Gabby and Andi! First, they're located in a beautiful old house in the historic part of Hilliard (I think that's the area- honestly, I'm not familiar with Hilliard). I got the If You Need Me I'll Be At The Spa package and it was 4 hours of the best self-care ever. I started with a body wrap that was both warming and cooling at the same time before being wrapped in a beautiful warm hug of various blankets. Definitely know what it feels like to be the inside of a Chipotle burrito! Then, to rinse off the mud, I soaked in a bubble bath in the beautiful, above ground tub. I then got my 90 min massage from Andi. I can't believe she was able to keep up the deep tissue pressure the whole time but she did! She really worked some problem areas in my neck and back and I feel so much better. Then, I finished off with a facial with Gabby who took the time to address my skin concerns and work her magic on my skin. After four hours, I felt like a content wet noodle and I'm so glad I Ubered there because I was in some kind of coma! Booking was super easy. I just texted with Gabby and we talked about what I was looking for. I really appreciated her rearranging some things to work logistics and make sure I got the time for everything I needed/wanted. I'm new to the Columbus area and terrified to try new hair stylists. I've also never died my hair EVER so going out on a limb and having low lights put in was very difficult for me. After my review she re-did my nails at no cost. The customer service here is excellent! I went in for a gel manicure. I was surprised when it only included shaping and cuticles (no moisturizer or exfoliations) I should have asked instead of assuming because I would have upgraded to the deluxe. The set up was beautiful it was very inviting and stylish. The reason I only give 3 stars is because I got it done 2 days ago and it's peeling off. I've never had this happen with gel polish before. On top of that I choose black polish and once I went outside in the natural light I noticed that they looked see-thru which was a bummer. I will not get another gel manicure here but I will try there other spa services. read more

Great facial! I went with my mom as a mother's day gift and we both got facials. The entire experience was relazing from entering the salon, having Gabby walk through all the paperwork and any questions we had, through the facial. Gabby customized the experience based on our skin and needs and she gave me some samples to see if I liked the products! Went back for a facial last Thursday with Gabby and it was beyond amazing. I arrived and she walked me upstairs to the bathroom where a bubble bath was drawn in the old fashioned claw foot tub, dim lighting, candles, spa music, wine glass of ice water next to tub, slippers, robe and heated eye mask....I was BLOWN AWAY. You get to soak for 10 to 15 minutes. I literally almost fell asleep. They lightly knock on the door to indicate time to get out, get robe on and head across hall to treatment room. Gabby asks you what your concerns are for your face and she customizes the treatment based on that and inspection of your face. She used a professional Clairsonic on me which really cleans your skin. And who likes extractions right? Well Gabby is "OCD" about getting them all out and she says and I love that. She totally took her time & uses her hands vs. that rough metal tool. Usually when I get extractions my face is red, but it was not so at all with Gabby. One of my concerns was dryness and she gave me a paraffin facial mask which I have never heard of or tried. She takes a large brush and wipes paraffin on, then lays a film of gauze fitted for your face and another layer of paraffin. You then lay there for 10 minutes or so and it's just sooooo relaxing. She also does a hand scrub and massage AND a neck/shoulder massage. The room is so soothing, warm and relaxing it just added to the overall ambiance. After the facial, I went over to look at my skin & again at home and it was absolutely glowing. I was so excited. My skin has never looked better. I was so impressed with the results that I really think I'm going to plan a facial every 6 weeks, not only for the relaxation but also as part of my skincare routine. Usually I don't have dedication to an esthitician for facials. I like to try new places and new people but I honestly have no desire to go elsewhere from now on and for this spa lover to say says alot. I think I'm going to get my girlfriends a facial GC for birthdays this year vs. lunch out/flowers. I HIGHLY recommend trying out Bella Capelli and Gabby!!!! read more

I've had a few facials done in my life and many massages so I'm familiar with spa experiences. Bella Capelli has a wonderful ambience. I loved how intimate the setting was. The complimentary bath was a great way to start my facial. Once Gabby started the treatment, I felt relaxed and pampered. Not only that, but she cleared up some areas on my face that had some blemishes that had been hanging out on my face for a week or more. I normally don't like to walk out in public with at least a small amount of concealer but I felt perfectly at ease to run around town with no makeup the rest if the day and night because my skin felt so clear and fresh. This place is amazing! By far my most favorite salon. I've tried out several hairstylists in years past and just haven't been able to find quite the right one...until I gave Courtney a try. She's fabulous! The salon has a cozy, small town feel since it's located within a house in Old Hilliard- but don't let the quaint environment fool you! They use the best products, modern techniques and really know what they're doing! My hair has never looked better (or been healthier!) I would absolutely recommend this salon and spa to anyone! Update: In addition to seeing Courtney for my regular hair styling, I also recently tried out Gabby for facial treatments and O M G- they were fabulous! I've had facials over the years at some of the bigger name salons around town and they absolutely paled in comparison to the pampering I got with Gabby. The complimentary (optional) soak in the tub before the facial was soo relaxing. The facial itself was thorough, but not invasive or painful like some other facials I've had at different salons. Went here for the first time for a basic hair cut. The girl who greeted me was awesome and friendly, but my hairdresser was less than pleasant. The other lady near me also getting her hair cut was in deep conversation with her client, while my hairdresser seemed to force conversation only because otherwise we were awkwardly sitting silently listening to the other ladies laughter. In addition, the woman doing my hair had her daughter with her, and she kept coming into the room asking how long til I was done and could they leave soon. Apparently at 2pm on a Tuesday I was the last client. Aside from the subpar service, my hair turned out gorgeous. She knows how to cut and style hair, but very little about bedside mannor. I would go back, but maybe to a more friendly salon technician. read more

I'm relatively new to the area and have had a few bad experiences trying to find a good salon. I read many reviews and visited Bella Capelli after a long weekend. I was looking forward to a relaxing appointment. In desperate need of having my hair trimmed and reshaped, I pretty much have the stylist free reign. I explained how I'd had many bad cuts since moving here and I just wanted to like my hair again. I wanted to blow dry it and know it was going to lay well without a lot of work. I didn't expect much, but was hopeful with the reviews. My stylist was super chatty. Which was fine, as she didn't expect me to interject too much. So, it wasn't quite as relaxing as I had hoped. But the cut made up for it. It's been a couple weeks since my appointment and I just love what she did. She had just met me, yet she made the perfect decision in the style of the cut she choose and it's incredibly easy to maintain. Even better, if I want to put time into styling it, I have many great options. I will definitely return. They have made a loyal happy customer of me! read more

I forgot to add the stylists here work like sub contractors renting out the salon space, so they just pay the rent and purchase all their own products. I like this because I feel the stylist is getting more for her work and I am not paying 40% to the salon like at large chains. This is a terrible salon. I paid 300 dollars for blonde bayalage and ended up with orange, yellow, silver, and pink streaks in my hair! Please DO NOT go to this salon they are NOT professionals!!!! If you are looking for a salon in Hilliard go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!! I can include pictures of my hair that Angel from Bella completely ruined and refused to give me a refund. She is great! She found the best color for my skin tone and I like it even better than my natural color. I always enjoy talking with her and am now a regular customer.
