Convenient ChargePoint Level 2 EV charging station in front of the hotel but two of the four ports are out of action. Apparently, there is an electrical fault between the ports and the hotel. Consider replacing the stations by Level 3 stations that charge in 20 minutes. Between about 6 pm and 6 am drivers parked their gas cars in front of the station! That is like parking in front of a gas pump ... The hotel should label the spaces as EV only. The $10 breakfast includes typical hotel options. The sausage tray also has slices of bacon! I like the metal cutlery. They let me take the ceramic mug to my room. I would like more decaf drinks in the room and in the lobby. Herbal tea, decaf tea, or decaf coffee would be great. Some guests do not or cannot drink caffeine and other guests would like to avoid caffeine in the evening. // Mark the top and bottom stairs within each flight for better visibility. The QR code in the room says "SCAN HERE to view our digital services directory". Good idea! But the menu, food, and call and collect links have missing information such as INSERT MENU 1 HERE. Please fix

Ricardo welcomed me warmly and checked me in efficiently. The bed was SO large and comfortable! The room-darkening shades worked great. There was good workspace and nice lighting that wasn't too glary. The breakfast buffet offered lots of options, including a variety of teas. And, most importantly, the room was clean and well-appointed! (Oh, and the towels were yummy-soft...) Notable note: the wi-fi was REALLY slow!

Was originally going to book the TownPlace in Wilmington but recent reviews were very low. When I booked this one near Aberdeen, it had 5 stars with one review. Now it will have 5 stars with 2 reviews. I have a deal to get 10% cash back on TownPlace Suites so I really wanted to stay at this brand. Most of my experiences with the Marriott TownPlace Suites brand have been good or better. This experience has been excellent. This hotel seems new. It is very Accessible with Accessible parking near the entrance. They also have a lot of EV charging stations available. Room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Everything works well with plenty of outlets. Very functional furniture. Very nice smelling shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Nice soft towels. Complimentary breakfast was good: Cheese omelettes, both pork and turkey sausage and both pork and turkey bacon. Also have yogurt, milk and make your own waffles along with other breads. Coffee was hot and good with half and half in a pitcher. Adding this to my preferred I-95 hotels in Baltimore. Strongly recommend.

Odd numbered rooms face north and have some traffic noise from the freeway. Even numbered rooms face south and are likely warmer in summer. I used the tray as a mouse pad because my optical mouse did not work well on the white desk. Park in front of the hotel to keep the car warmer in winter. Or park behind, north of, the hotel in a shaded parking area. Without sun, your vehicle may have more frost and ice. The guest laundry worked well but had only one washing machine. I had not stayed at a Springhill Suites before, so I didn't know what to expect. I was on business,…read moreand usually stay at a Marriott property, as I am an elite member. My preference when staying in suburban areas is to find a Residence Inn as they feel homey and clean ... and avoid Courtyard by Marriott as they don't offer free breakfast. I was going from NYC to DC for meetings and needed a spot in between to break up the drive without breaking the bank as I'd check in by midnight and be out before noon. I was not enamored when I first arrived. The lobby walls looked like they had seen a flood and the hotel lobby was a bit messy with trash on the tables. It turned out they were doing a lobby renovation the next morning. The welcome was pleasant enough and soon I was on my way to my room ... which had two beds, even though we had booked a king. I was told that was all they had and I was offered concession points, which I gladly took. We hoped to stretch out in a king bed after the drive but we made the best of it. The room is incredibly spacious and long ... for a standard-sized room it was huge and modern/clean. It was like a cross between a Residence Inn and a Courtyard in that it had a small counter with a microwave, sink, etc. and a little area with a desk. There was a sofa (sadly ... and icky ... it looked like it was cum-stained) and a coffee table and the two beds. The bathroom door was right at the foot of the bed, which I hated. Not sure why they didn't place the bathroom at the far end of the room and the kitchen/office where the bathroom was. The bathroom itself was great. No combo shower/tub with a shower curtain, which is my pet peeve. It was a glassed in (full with door!!) shower in a separate room than the sink/vanity and toilet. The bathroom was spacious and someone could be getting ready at the sink while the other person showered. Plenty of towels and just okay toilet products. The thing I most hated was the housekeeping. I had my Do Not Disturb sign on the door and they knocked aggressively at 11 a.m. though check out was at noon ... and I was given an extended check out of 1 p.m. by the front desk. I asked if they saw the do not disturb sign and they said yes. At noon, there was another knock ... they said nobody told them about the 1 p.m. checkout and went away. When a Do Not Disturb sign is up, why would you knock on the door? It'd just annoying. The breakfast was boring ... mostly cheap yogurt, bagged cereals and the type of bagels that are an insult to bagels. And it was packed up and completely gone by 9 a.m. Maybe because renovations and painting of the lobby were in full swing. The pool was small and right off the lobby, so you had to walk through the lobby/past the front desk in your towel. Fitness room was typical and internet was fast and easy to connect to. Overall, for what it is, the hotel was nice. The spaciousness of the rooms and the clean, modern design won me over.It was just a very comfortable place to stay. The hotel itself is in a quiet area about 2 miles off Route 95. No traffic, no noise and there is a small plaza next door with a bar and a barbershop. Gas and restaurants are nearby but not right next door.

Especially for cleanliness. What a nice surprise! It was truly immaculate for its age. The room was exactly like their website depicted. My room was located near the ice machine which i appreciate because i love my ice. Best part about the room was i could have my beloved dog. She loved it. I always prepare and bring beds and what not. I had a fridge, microwave and hair dryer. The shower was HOT. Plenty of pressure, toiletries and towels. None of the room lamps (except the ones by bed worked) but that was ok. Nice large room. Surprisingly quiet and it was Saturday. Its literally right next to I-95. Beds, wow were they ever so comfy. I sunk right down and didnt want to get out. So soft. Lots of fluffy pillows. The gym was amaaazing and all equipment worked. Staff was friendly. Wont be eating breakfast so can't comment. Pool looked clean but i didnt use ...as lots of kids in it. Lots of shopping eateries pizza directly across the street. Plenty of free parking. Easy checkin and they even let me do that an hour early. My only complaint: the TV. i came to relax and think about nothing. The tv remote was hard to decipher and none of the stations listed in the rolling guide on station 7 were named. Every channel said NO INFORMATION. i had to click on all 68 channels one by one to see what was showing. There wasnt any netflix, or special streaming movies, basically it was simply cable. It also would not go up in volume. After about an hour i figured it out. NBD. All in all, i had a nice stress-free evening away from my usual grind. Thanks for a great nights sleep!

Lots of coffee carafes in the lobby, always empty. The only time one carafe had actual coffee, there were no cups. Elevator required a key to get off on a specific floor, which is not a problem unless you are with a large group and they put you all in different floors. Need to get something from a friend on the second floor? Sorry but no! Apparently the crime in Maryland hotels must be tough. Good things is you just can get a key for any room you want at the front desk, they don't even care which room you ask for. Breakfast was $8, but still coffee was perpetually empty. Pool heater was broken so pool was closed (ice cold). Kinda stinks when you specifically asked about a pool when booking and the kids were excited about it. Lucky the rooms are sweltering hot so if you feel like taking the polar plunge, you can warm up quickly.
