We had issues with the pull out couch and my request to help move furniture to get everything working was met with huffs and puffs. Like I was putting them out of their way. The pull out couch mattress smelled of old urine- they did replace it but it was again met with attitude. The last straw was the room temp. The ac unit was broken and wouldn't cool below 73. We called several times. They even said they replaced the unit. Found out later that the new unit wasn't charged correctly and still didn't work. They were to send a 4th tech up to check it out Sunday but nobody showed before we left for the first game. Of course- the manager was never around to speak to so we have not gotten any resolution to our issue as of yet. I might try the courtyard next door next time. It is hard to beat the location and experience but the headache of constant calls to the desk and the lack of any satisfaction is highly annoying. ----------------------------- Update: the manager reached out and was very concerned with our experience. He was able to make things better and helped change our minds about how the facility is run.

The location seemed central, which made it an easy choice. The exterior of the building is modern with an industrial feel, tucked between two baseball fields and behind a newly developed neighborhood -- a nice little gem at first glance. I have to be honest: once I arrived, I wished I had chosen the Courtyard next door. I didn't realize the two properties were collocated. My room felt dated, and the furniture showed noticeable wear. As a Residence Inn, many guests were using their kitchenettes, and the lingering food smells made the stay less comfortable. I even called to switch rooms, but the hotel was at full capacity. For the cost, it served the purpose of my trip, but if I return to the area, I'll likely consider the Courtyard next door instead.

The kids were running through the hotel at all hours and the front desk just watched. Parents were screaming at the kids as they walked out of the pool area, where people had rooms at. Two young kids got left in the common area to watch TV without any adult supervision while their parents drank and smoked outside and you could hear the youngest one screaming "mommy" and "daddy" looking for someone. I booked a suite room, which had two rooms a sofa bed, and a large kitchen area with dishwasher and fridge as well. Two TVs in the room as well. Breakfast was above average - well stocked in a different way than Hampton Inn's I'm used to - had sauces as well in bottles. Staff was friendly and texted checking in on me several times. Clean place - solid room, smaller bed than usual but I would stay at one of these if given the chance.

No fruit, no pastries, no options. This was at 8am.....an hour before breakfast would have ended, nothing was repenished. We grabbed a chocolate milk and left. The employees are friendly, treat you like they love their jobs and are happy to see you. The continental breakfast was awesome! You actually got real food, and there was plenty of it! The associate was always cleaning, refilling and making nice conversation. We are very pleased with everything La Quinta has to offer. Plenty of parking, pet friendly with poop bags available too. They think of everything! They even have elevators and carts to help bring your luggage up to your room. I highly recommend La Quinta!
