Not very sanitary. The guy at the desk walked out of the lobby bathroom without washing his hands-The sink was dry. All hand sanitizer dispensers in the lobby are dead . Needs to improve, rooms were filthy dog urine all over the place the carpet, elevator, beds every ware, a thick mold smell through out the hotel this is not what I expected how can they allow people in thos place. Every room was bad. We left to the Hotel across the street. read more

Scot Sisk is the GM here. He is the worst of the worst. Every google review that talks about him stating that he is rude and mean and kicks people out is very true even though he later responds saying it's inaccurate information. He is a fraud and liar. They will steal your money, charge your card because they feel like it, won't refund anything and won't try to accommodate but rather say there is nothing they can do either you go to your room or you'll get kicked out. If you want to put a complaint about him he gives you his business card. Since when do you complain to the GM about the GM. That is why he doesn't get fired. The complaints never make it to the the higher ups. Do not stay here. read more

Manager, Scott and his crew made my extended stay at Holiday Inn, a pleasant one! The entire staff was friendly and accommodating! Gena and Heather served a Fantastic Breakfast each morning! Sharolette went out of her way to make sure my Birthday was a special one!! I got to know the night managers pretty well; Tyler gave me coffee pods whenever I asked and Christi was always hard at work but would stop to make sure I had everything that I needed. Chris was another "above and beyond" employee! I feel like I've made a friend because of the kindness that he showed me (and all patrons). What a fantastic Team?! If I could give this place less than one star, I 100% would. In the last ten years of my life I've stayed in a lot and I mean A LOT of hotels when the Army would move us. But even still this is by far the WORST stay and experience I've ever had. From the start it was nothing but problems, I called to ask if I could check in early because we have a baby with us and she was tired(I was more than willing to pay whatever fee). But instead the front desk employee was rude and hung up. Upon getting to Texas I received a charge to my bank account in the amount of $110 which was for a cancellation fee. I NEVER CANCELED MY ROOM. Who would do that when they were literally ten mins from getting there, come to to find out their sorry excuse of a front desk clerk canceled my reservation. IHG guest services confirmed the hotel canceled my room and I didn't. So I was rightfully pissed, but the lady at the front desk(the old lady with glasses) told me they comped my room and I asked multiple times to make sure she meant what she said. I did the $25 hold and that was it. A few days later they charge my card $498 for my stay. Now this wouldn't be a big deal had someone called me to say her we made a mistake and she misspoke we can't comp the whole stay. I wouldn't be writing this review. BUT instead they passed the blame over and over again making excuses instead of owning up to THEIR MISTAKE. Leading to today when they said I was a liar and the hotel never said they would comp my room. But why would I lie and stay in a one star hotel? The AC didn't work hardly at all while we were there, thankfully it got fixed the night before we left and they have literal roaches. (Don't even lie because we took pictures) so acting like someone wants to lie to stay in a meth motel, halfway house filled with former addict looking employees is absurd. DO NOT STAY HERE. It's not worth the money, they staff (other than the cleaning ladies and AC guy) is absolute garbage. The management them might as well go work at McDonald's because that's the shit kind of customer service they provide. Next time I'll save myself the stress and stay the hell away from this place. Very very Very rude person working the front. I was in the front lobby and the male employee working the front threatened to throw away my personal belongings so he can make room for his "arrivals". I told him "sir, I'm working" and reminded him that I'm a paying customer and a guest. To make matters worst, the male worker began to slam things and make very uncomfortable noises. He was very rude and did not care. Upper Managment, please get with your staff and train them on customer service. This is not the standard and being rude / threatening to throw away personal items of a paying guest is unacceptable. Please don't let this review make you not want to come here. I'm writing this review to make sure the employee at the front understands that he can control his attitude and effort. Do better sir. read more

My mom and I had the privilege to stay at this hotel during our time in Cleburne. We drove from El Paso to run in a trail race in town here. We arrive and were greeted by the most friendly staff who were able to add an extra night to our stay with no issue at all. Our room was as very clean with fridge, microwave, and coffee pot with all the coffee you can drink. In the bathroom was bath and body works brand, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and bar soap. The beds were very comfortable intact even better than my one at home. There was direct TV which was nice. The vending machines were reasonably priced given it being a hotel. Ice machine on every floor. They do have a mini "store" next to the front desk with basic things you may need from meds to food They do have a great continental breakfast which if you happen to be leaving before it starts like we did the day of our race they can give you a sack breakfast to go with muffin juice and fruit it was great! My one and only complaint was the teens staying around our room were loud and would run up and down the hall and bounce between rooms but that all settled around 11 and not the hotels fault The overall experience was great we will be staying here again!! read more

Staff is very nice and hotel is clean and updated. The reason I am not giving it a perfect score is that the rooms need some work. The bathroom needs to be re-grouted, the bathroom door fixed and the toilet is not flushing right. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had a family emergency so I tried canceling my reservation 2 days prior online and it would not work. I tried 3 times. I also called a couple days before but the automated message kept saying she "could not understand" and kept hanging up on me. Then I called the morning of my reservation and finally got through to the reservation customer service. They told me they could not cancel my reservation for some reason and I would have to call back on Monday. So I called back on Monday and the manager refused to tell me his name. I called Monday April 5th around 12:30pm Texas time. After trying to explain the situation to him he said "sorry I can't help you" then proceeded to say "I am ending this conversation." Absolutely the worst customer service ever. He kept trying to talk over me as I explained the situation and then I asked him to email me my receipt and he did not. I would never go to this hotel again and I will share my experience with everyone. He ended up hanging up in me and refused to tell me his name. read more

Very impressed with this motel. New and clean plus they have a small putting green, a fenced in half court basketball goal in addition to the indoor pool and jacuzzi. They also have a customer appreciation night, every Thursday, where the have free food and drinks for all the guests. I hadn't heard of this before but it was a pleasant surprise and I definitely enjoyed the lasagna and ice cold beer. Highly recommend this motel. read more

Room was clean for the most. Red stains on carpet and tore near refrigerator. Room phone did not work well. Service was great, I have a service dog and they met my needs. I would give a 5 star but I do think they could take a little more care in up keep of the room. Plus kids were running and screaming as we were checking in, just unnecessary. read more

The folks at the front desk here rock! Even though the laundry facility closed at midnight, Peter at the front desk gladly opened up the laundry room after midnight multiple times for me. I tried to book a one night's stay recently for a wedding. When they asked for my email address they told me that I was a "member" through their IHG club, which I have never heard of. They told me I needed to talk to their membership department, so they transferred me. The guy on the phone told me he'd treat me as a "platinum" member just because he wanted to be nice and it was "at the end of the promotion." The deal was basically that I'd pay $199 right now for 3-night's stay at some future date that I could schedule. Then after the stay at that chosen location down the road I'd have to listen to a 3-hour promotional talk about whatever and then they'd reimburse me the $199. We have had bad experiences with things like this in the past and we just weren't interested. But the man would not take no for an answer. Finally my husband had to get on the phone and tell them that if he wouldn't finish the one reservation we wanted for the one night's stay and leave us be that we'd be forced to book somewhere else. Then we hung up. I got a confirmation that the one night we booked did go through, but it was just a horrible experience. It was like being harassed. Bad job, Holiday Inn. Don't think I'll book with any of these again. read more
