The front desk clerk didn't know how to check me in and the room is off just enough to make you wonder if they change the sheets.... hint, keep your shoes on! While i was talking on the phone my friend said, don't sit on the sofa. Its probably nasty. I stood to see if their was anything to her half joke, and saw what I've attached in my pictures NASTY!!! Is that what I think it is? I stayed for 2 nights and paid $505, WHAT?! That's way too much $$$$ for such a low quality hotel. Wanna get ripped off for a substandard room, come to Holiday Inn Express Fishkill. They got you covered!

    Darn.

Holiday Inn Express is my go to brand. Unimpressed with this location. Arrived around 11 pm on a Thursday. There were a bunch of drunks partying in the lobby. Very loud. Beer bottles everywhere. Maybe I'm a prude. Arrived at breakfast at 7 am. Breakfast room was empty. But the room was a mess. Every table was dirty. Food on the floors, tables, counters. Not a house keeping staff to be found anywhere. Hotel was under construction. Our room was right next to the construction zone. So we smelled drywall and paint all night long.

Multiple shower heads in an HIE is amazing and very cool!

There is an old saying- "So clean you could eat off the floor!" That is exactly what I thought after my stay here. This hotel is immaculate. Both the common areas and the rooms are spotless. You would have thought it opened yesterday but when I found out its most recent remodel was 2 1/2 years ago I was really impressed. This is a budget hotel at its best. My room was comfortable. It was a snap to control the room temperature. My bathroom even had a shower with multiple shower heads! See my pic. That's unheard of in an HIE. There is an indoor pool and hot tub and a small fitness center. Once again they are spotless and beautifully maintained. The staff was great and the free breakfast was exactly as expected. A bonus is that there are tons are places to eat and drink within a two minute drive including an amazing diner right next door. If you are looking for a budget hotel in this area, you've found it!

    The shower head was disgusting.

It's in a business park and seems to be geared more towards business travelers. It is quite far back within the little development. There is a Chipotle and Five Guys nearby and a diner and some other stops on the strip . The room was very clean and quite spacious. It had a West End couch, a walk in closet (!) and a microwave along with a mini fridge. Breakfast was average. Oatmeal, DIY waffles, a few hot items, fruits, yogurts, etc. I liked that all their items were labeled - as a vegetarian sometimes it can be tricky with hotel breakfasts that like to hide meat in eggs. They had cold brew out as well as hot coffees which I thought was a nice option. Very big lobby/breakfast area. Came back to cookies in the lobby one evening which was a nice surprise. The staff was very professional. Overall I was very pleased with this option. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

The staff is extremely nice and accommodating with a greeting coming and going. Our TV had problems working and Matt was so awesome, he kept trying solutions until he got it to work. He was super nice and reassuring to us. If ever in this area I totally recommend this hotel. It's in a center where there's a Residence inn right next door and a courtyard in walking distance. I like the Springhill suites. There's a pool available as well indoors. There were 2 wedding events at the same time upon checkin and this hotel was large enough where that didn't affect the elevator(no delay) or complimentary breakfast(no crowds) awesome stay here!!!

The front desk staff is very professional and welcoming to all. Went there for the AAA driver's course, being held in one of the meeting rooms off the main lobby. It's the small details; the HVAC was well modulate. It never got too cold or hot and stuffy. The carpet was clean and maintained, ceiling tiles clean. There is an impressive guest Breakfast buffet. Beyond the cold dry cereals and yogurts found at some motels. Waffles you prepare, scrambled eggs, pastries, to name a few. There is no onsite restaurant, but there are plenty of restaurants and fast food places nearby. There's a small store with snacks and beverages next to reception. There was a wedding going on, I imagine in a ballroom somewhere in the motel. Some of the amenities are: a putting green near the entrance, well appointed fitness center, indoor pool, business center, free WiFi, an area with children's activities, covered and open air seating area. There are probably more that I'm unaware of.

On peak hours, the wifi will drop connection every few minutes for about 2 minutes at a time, sometimes longer, just to have it happen again a few minutes later. The communication from A Perfect Blend in the year leading up to our wedding was wonderful--any question we had, they answered right away. Their online planning portal was also so incredibly helpful for figuring out exactly what we wanted for music and how the flow of the day would go! And when we finally got to the day, DJ Mario was amazing! He did a perfect job of blending me and my husband's music tastes and playing crowd pleasers that got everyone hyped and on the dance floor. He dropped so many bangers during our first dance set that our Best Man turned to us and said "this playlist is TOO good! I can't sit down!" Mario kept the reception flowing perfectly, and I was THRILLED when he handed me the mic for a little karaoke session. It was truly the most fun I've ever had! I would recommend Mario and A Perfect Blend to literally everyone--I hope I get to go to a wedding DJ'd by them soon!

I'd fully recommend this service if you're looking for a wedding or event DJ - they asked questions we wouldn't have thought of (age group of our guests - suggested where to do the cake cutting to make sure the dance floor didn't empty out, etc), which made our lives easier during this hectic time. 10/10 for sure!!!

We bought this hotel hours…read morebefore we arrived because we wanted to stay overnight in the area and it was actually the cheapest. My husband bought it and I didn't really look into it until I was amazed at what I saw. First of all, when you get here - you realize there's a Walmart a block away across the street, a gas station you can easily walk to, and you have five guys and chipotle for fast food - I'm sure more but it was dark out, so I couldn't really see. So we walk into the lobby and it's pretty, very big area because it's also the dining room. They give us a map to park the closest to our suite. So we walk up the stars to our second floor suite and it's absolutely stunning. It has a living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The price we paid under $300 was unreal. I wish more hotels looked like this! They had a dishwasher for the dishes, closets, the sofa even had a bed to it as well. There was nothing upsetting about this place. They provide shampoo and conditioner that smelled decent. the only thing that's a little weird is there is no privacy on the first floor room, they have French doors with no curtains - so if you're staying with people, I'm sure that could be awkward - depending. We just had a great night stay and the bed/pillows were so comfortable. The breakfast was nice, there was all sorts of basic options from oatmeal to cereal to eggs and potatoes. They also had a variety of tea's. For the weekend people were trying to find tables, there is sofas around to eat your food, but who wants to do that? Might have to go back to your hotel if you want a table - it's a little apartment anyway, I'd rather eat with my family. The people at the desk were great. Just make sure if you have a lot of bags or someone handicap in your family that you let them know you need the first floor because climbing up the stairs will be a pain. If I could rate this place, I'd give it a 100/100. Besides hotels in Vegas, definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in!
