Pretty decent spot for overnight stay We were passing thru heading to GA from NY, and the place was nice and clean in addition to the breakfast options were all standards for this chain. We would come again. It's also within 2 miles of a lot of restaurants. Off in the cut a bit, so depending on why you are there. Good enough, stay regardless. The property is 2.5 years old. Their primary clientele are truckers or construction workers, then those who are just passing through. Because this is such a basic brand, and they were consistent with the brand, I just snatched some pics from online. The only difference is that all of the bath supplies are mounted Dove products. Let's start with the good, which there's a lot of firstly, I was told on the phone you could be 18 to stay here which was a lie. I'm 20 and I got there they told me I couldn't stay. I panicked because I'm in a city where I don't know anyone and the manager was nice enough to let me stay. I thank him so much for being kind to me cause I seriously would've been stranded. The cleaning staff were great. They told me they were done for the day and they didn't know if they'd get to my room but when I got back it was super clean and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised. Over all the staff here were just great and super helpful. My room was nice for $100 a night and I'd definitely stay here again. More than likely will. On my last day I decided to stop by the continental breakfast. It was great. I had a cinnamon roll, toast, and bacon. 10/10 would eat again. What I didn't like was the pool was freezing, in winter. I don't know, you'd think you would have a heated pool especially indoors. So me and my boyfriend couldn't swim as we had planned. 10542 Philadelphia Rd White Marsh, Md 5/22/23 We booked This hotel because of all the great reviews . The hotel is only a year old and in the nearby view is the big hill of the dump in the area. Our room was really clean but we booked a handicapped room and got a hearing-impaired room instead. Taking a shower for my husband was terrible as he slipped several times. The following day we got a handicapped room but with only one king bed we wanted two queen beds as when we booked the room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was perfect but skimpy on the towels. The following day someone forgot to make the bed and clean up the room. The lady at the front desk came in and made the bed, cleaned up the bathroom, and threw out the garbage, this was very nice of her but the room smelled of garbage. They offer breakfast in the morning but I never manage to get there, hubby said it was okay. I'm vegan so I'm sure the options weren't great for me other than an apple I presume. BE CAREFUL!!! Unfortunately I have to write this review due to the treatment I experienced during my stay. On April 22nd, I booked a room at this establishment for the dates 04/26-04/27 through booking.com. I was looking for a 2 bedroom suite with an indoor pool. The description of this room is as follows: bedroom 1- queen bed Bedroom 2- queen bed Living room- sofa bed. When I checked in I received 1 room with two queen beds and a sofa bed. I went to the front desk and explained that I booked a room with two bedrooms and received 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. The front desk representative informed me that the hotel didn't have rooms with two bedrooms and I said well that's what's on the website is there anything you all can do to compensate me due to this. She informed me that I would have to speak to the front desk manager Tyler. I went back to my room and received a call from Tyler who was very rude to me, cutting me off as I was speaking and having a very condescending tone and demeanor. He even went so far as to call me a liar stating "well I know that's not on the website because we are in charge of what we give to the third party sites and we don't have rooms like that." I told him the website does say that I wouldn't have booked the room. He was very snappy and informed me there's nothing he could do besides discount a $200 room by $15 and to get me signed up for the loyalty program and give me points. At this time I didn't have a choice but to get another room because my needs warranted two rooms. In the end he also dropped the incidental fee down on the second room to $25. I was still not satisfied after being called a liar and basically being stuck with having to pay for two rooms which was not in my budget. It was false advertisement which is no fault of mine and I should have been compensated instead of having to pay for an additional room not called a liar. The next morning I went online to book the same room for different dates after thinking to myself the day before how can I prove to this rude man that this is what it shows online and showed Tyler the website where it shows the advertisement for two bedroom and all he could muster up is "wow, that's weird but let me get you signed up and get you some points for your next stay." This was unacceptable and I'm quite sure not best practice according to the hotel's policy. I was deceived with false advertisement and called a liar. I will not bring booking here again. read more

On 10 days of vacation from work visiting family, I became severely sick staying at this hotel. I had to change rooms my 3rd night due to the air conditioning and carpet. The carpet smelled like mildew, and the air filter had not been changed. While the staff was accommodating enough, the lack of cleanliness needs to be addressed. I spent my last week before starting my next work assignment, taking medicine to get myself well. Housekeeping cleaned room 1 time, in which I had to ask for services. Symptoms: Fever, chills, congestion, sob, and sore throat. The rooms, nor carpet, are not being cleaned adequately. I do not recommend. read more

I arrived at this hotel, around 9pm. After I checked in, and I informed the front desk staff that I had my Service Dog with me and asked if she waned to ask the 2 questions allowed by the ADA. I was told I had to fill out paperwork. (None required in US) I was then toldI had to have a card for him, vest for him, and had to prove he is a Service Dog. Again l, I told them he did not have to wear a vest. She continued a tirade about this and told me they can refuse Service. I left to go to the car to get my 3 kids and my SD. We went back inside and the front (mgr..?) Stated she called the hotel mgr and that I had to prove he was a SD, or they would call the PD. I suggested they read the law and went to my room. I told the kids not to unpack as we were.prob not staying. One son fed my SD and we waited. PD showed up 20mins approx later. They were very nice! I explained the law to them, then told them that since the law is federal (ADA) they can not enforce that. I then told them the MD State Statute, which they can enforce. I did make sure, as the officers body cams were recording that the belligerent front desk manager (not the nice front desk who check me in) stated that I was being removed for not proving my SD. His partner then found the law, and told the awful lady, that she was indeed, WRONG. She then said she wanted us gone for disrupting the flow of check in. Luckily, I have the body cam where that was not mentioned at all. The nice officer, btw, let us follow him to another hotel and even went in and confirmed my dogs status. As for me, I train dogs. I also have spent the last few years gearing up for my own SD program, a 301c-3. I also have made school videos, locally guided businesses, am working on State legislative, and in my spare time, help run a very large online group, have a few government meetings in surrounding states, and am discussing an adjunct class at a local college. I am extremely well versed in ADA, FHA, ACAA, and many states laws as well. This hotel should be retrained until 100% in compliance, pay the price difference for my hotel, and offer a free nights future stay. I will be following this up with hotel management, corporate, and the Dept. Of Justice, who governs discrimination cases including SD cases. read more

I have stayed at this location multiple times and the hotel staff has been very friendly, they welcome you, and definitely try to make sure your stay is comfortable. The location is off by itself which is good because it's not loud and busy. It's always clean and up to date. But I recommend staying here again and again and again. I was visiting my son in nearby Perry Hall, and didn't want to sleep on the couch. This place was close by, so I booked a room. My arrival was very late, past 11:00. But staff was very prompt and got me checked in rapidly. Room was super clean and came with everything I needed: fridge, microwave, tv. But the one thing I truly want and need in a hotel is great wifi. And the wifi was excellent, which is critical these days. After a great night's sleep I went down to the breakfast area. I only got coffee, which was excellent! I did check out the offerings. They had the usual: eggs, toast, bacon, sausage. But they also had an automatic pancake machine. I really wanted to try that out but I had breakfast plans. After my coffee I noticed they had an indoor pool. I wish I had know or I would have brought my swimsuit. There is a fitness room available as well. I will use these next time I stay! My only complaint is that the location made it difficult for me to find it. The hotel is set back quite a ways from the road. I actually drove past it once before finding it. I will definitely stay again. read more

Unauthorized Charges In The Middle Of The Night. **Long Post** I did the reservation with my debit card. Once I arrived the person checking me in advised to the incidental fee of $100. I asked to put that fee on my credit card. As far as I new I was good to go. In the middle of the first night around 3am I got an alert that credit card was charged for about $33. Confused I waited until morning to speak with someone at the desk. When I arrived a lady was checking in someone and she was having system issues. After waiting 10 mins I decided to stop by the desk later. I had an appointment I could not miss. That night when I came back and asked the front desk she was clueless. She did advise the manager would be in the next day. Cool! Well 3am again I get another alert this time for $156 charge attempted. Luckily I had a lock on my card since I had to wait for answers. End result the manager realized the check in person did not properly check me in and thats why the hotel daily was trying to charge my credit card. The most irritating part is I have a credit card I planned to use but I have it blocked. Transactions I planned to come out I had to spent time rerouting. Blocking my main credit card messed up a lot of my travel. Then for 2 nights I had to worry had I been scammed somehow before I got any answers. For my troubles I was offered a few points. Yeah thanks! That made me feel better. I made a formal complaint. The general manager reached out via email as requested then we set a time to speak. I took time away from work for this telephone meeting that never happened. I waited 30 mins. We discussed in advance in more than 2 emails that I hold meetings literally all day. So if I set aside time it was 100% valuable time. She didn't call, text, nor email that she would be late or needed to reschedule. After waiting 30mins I emailed her and when she replied she said "I couldn't just break away from an in-house guest." I stayed at this hotel 4 nights and 2 of them were very stressful because I didn't know what was going on. We scheduled this call and you tell me someone else's issues were a top priority. Well kept property - terrible communication. We booked two rooms as we have 3 small children. We called several times to request adjoining rooms (weeks ahead & the week of the reservation). We were informed that the hotel could not assign rooms until the day of the reservation date. When we arrived, we were informed that this request could not be fulfilled as we booked two different room types. This may have been helpful to know prior to arriving. We are loyal IHG members & have never had this issue prior. We own a small business with 40+ team members that travel on a regular basis. IHG is our go to. Very disappointed. read more
