They did such beautiful job on them! If you haven't tried Holiday Nails, you need too. I used to go there for many years. The best thing is they take walk-ins. I came to this nail salon for the first time with some friends and I can honestly say I'm never coming back. I got a shellac mani and pedi done for the first time in almost year and I was super excited about treating myself after so long. That went downhill pretty fast. We sat down to get our pedicures together and I was the last person to have someone come work on me. No big deal, I didn't mind that... until I was the first one done. The lady that worked on me barely scrubbed my feet. I know my feet need a good scrubbing because I stand on my feet at work 80% of the time. There's no way 30 seconds per foot was good enough to remove all the dead skin. She also never put toe separators on me and waited til after my toes were painted to put sandals on my feet! Who does that?! There is no sense in putting sandals on AFTER my toes are freshly painted. When we walked over to the manicure station, I asked the lady if there was a lighter shade in gray shellac. She brought me back a dark gray, a light blue and a minty color. After I said no to all three, she rudely said "this is all we have, you can look for yourself." I found the light gray color on my own. Then she starts removing my cuticles. Along with my cuticles, she removed a lot of skin and continued to do so even after my nails were painted! It literally looks like someone CHEWED at my fingers! When she put the topcoat on, she did such a messy job that it cured to my skin. I've never had such a horrible nail salon experience in my life. This place is NEVER getting my business ever again. read more

After a few years without going to a salon, I decided to take a chance at Holiday Nails because it was close to my house and I like to give local business the funds I could spare somewhere else. I can say that the experience was HORRIBLE. I walked in and asked if I they were taking walk ins. The manager (she called herself that) told me that yes. I proceeded to look at their at services and prices, and the same lady rudely said that I should take a seat. At that moment I should have left, but I was naive to say the least. After a few minutes one of the manicurists came to me and asked me what kind of service I needed. I told her I would like to try the deep. She seemed annoyed with my request and I was making up my mind on having nail tip added or not and she was rushing me to make a decision. During the time this person was working on my nails, she told me to relax my hand a few times, but not in a nice way. The culminating point of my abhor for that place was when she belittled me and told me to stop looking at my nail. She told me in a very aggressive voice to look at the TV or anywhere else. This person was rude and loud, but the worst thing was that her manager was seating next to her, working on somebody else's nails. While I sat there and started crying, they were talking to each other in their language and laughing. I asked for some tissue and told the person working on my nails that there was no reason to be rude, and her manager said that she was not rude. They should not be in customer service at all. The price was too high for the service provided. the girl working on my nails never asked me how I wanted them shaped, she applied the product too tick and I will never step foot in a place like this again. It was a horrible experience and I hope people do their research before setting foot in any establishment. Specially when they are laughing and pretending not to see how upset another human being is feeling. THIS IS THE WORST SALON I HAVE EVER SET FOOT ON. This place does not deserve any stars. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ACRYLICS!!! So I got acrylics here a month ago and they still aren't lifting. He glued them on so thick that they won't come off. The paint is also layered so thick that I can't even get through that with acetone. They've made me bleed before and I don't want to go back to them to remove these awful acrylics because last time they removed acrylics for me it hurt terribly. Go to someone who actually knows what they're doing for acrylics. read more

Business needs (customer opinion): More technicians. Better time management when servicing customers as well as waiting customers. Customer experience: Appointment was scheduled for 4p for 3 people. Arrived on time. Technician had my feet soaking for 57mins while servicing the 2 others in my party and 2 other customers. My appointment was scheduled during a holiday weekend and assumed they would have enough staff to accommodate the increase in business. Feedback: Please hire or schedule enough staff to support heavier traffic to your business. Incorporate a better business flow so that customers are not overlooked or not well taken care of. Assign a dedicated business manager to enhance the customer experience and help keep operations running more efficiently. read more

I walked in with my three girls and i needed a fill. They were friendly, and finished the job quick. My girls were happy with them. I have also walked in couple of times before and they have told me that if i don't have an hour for the nails, then might as well come another day. So that's kind of disappointing. Worst acrylic fill ever, and expensive!! Half of my fingertips were stuck to the acrylic underneath the nail because she used way too much. She cut the side of my pinky finger with the dremmel file. *Warning Long Rant/Review** I used to come here years ago when they were under a different management (2011-13ish). I stopped because the new staff (I thought) were very rude. I started going to a different nail salon a little further but they're great! So 4 days ago 12/19/17 on a Tuesday, I was in desperate need of a manicure with shellac so I did not feel like driving 4 miles away to my usual and I noticed as I was leaving Holiday Market that all the staff in the nail salon were just sitting meaning NO WAIT which was perfect! So I was greeted with the "how can I help you?".. and I said manicure and shellac please. So I was told to pick my color. I proceed to get everything done. No complaints. So fast forward 2days to Thursday. I notice a nail "lifting" so of course after on 2 DAYS I return to get it "fixed". All is well. So on today Saturday morning YES I am back!! Why you ask?? Well because as you can see in the photos provided... two more (completely) different Nails are lifting and chipping. So to answer what you're probably thinking... Nope I haven't been scrubbing any dishes or floors or anything harsh, just two days of Christmas shopping lol. So when I came in today, I show the "head lady" Tammy who sits at the 1st table my situation. Thinking it'll be no big deal because hey I am the one being inconvenienced here for the 2nd time... she tells me if I DO NOT pick the exact same color/ polish I have to pay! The reason she says this is because I picked a different color similar to what I have just a different brand. Why would I continue to get the same brand if it's continuing to chip. So she tells me if I get them ALL redone I'll have to pay, they would only fix the two that were in need. I try to explain to her my reasoning for why I picked something different... it's not as if I am trying to "get over" on them I just didn't see the logic of continuing to get the same polish.. maybe it's a bad polish.. idk.. what I had picked was just a little bit darker than what I was wearing.. not even a different color. Anyway. Now because I am not a confrontational person I just said ok. Now as I wait I am typing this review while it's ever so fresh! My point is I already thought their customer service was not great and now I had to experience this with a salon full of customers. Even though a couple of them that were near agreed with me, I just refused to go somewhere else and pay AGAIN and I just didn't have the time!! My daughter and I went here for pedicures. I don't know what they put on our nails but BOTH of our polish peeled off in less than a week! I've never had that happen before. I went in about a month ago. Really sorry to hear John has moved out of state. He was my fav. for over 15 yrs. Unfortunately I hadn't had my nails done in over a year. His sister gave me a full Tammy Taylor and she did a great job. Like John, the nails felt normal and not fake and done in under 45 min. I'm currently sitting in a chair with my feet in cold water. I've been in the chair for 35 minutes and have yet to even have my polish removed. There are TWO technicians sitting.doing absolutely nothing while I wait. Seems a little off to me that they cant help the one girl doing the pedicures. The pedicure itself is just mediocre. Nothing good or bad to say about it. I just feel like if you have more technicians than customers, someone should get up and help. The customer ahould not have to wait to be helped when there are people just sitting around. I will not be returning. read more
