However, that was not the case after stopping by this coffee shop yesterday morning. I was waiting for a table for breakfast across the street and decided to grab an oat latte and a regular cappuccino. To my surprise, they turned out to be the best coffees we've had in a while. The shop is well set up, with super friendly staff, and offers grab-and-go snack options like bagels and banana bread. Our coffees were so good that we even drove 20 minutes out of our way on our way home just to come back! I will definitely return whenever we're in the area.

Even though I feel like juice is a silly breakfast, I agreed and we drove in to town. Inside, the place is spotless. I know it is new but they d a really good job of keeping the place clean. I have actually never seen it all that crowded and I wonder if it is the location or healthy nature of their fare that keeps people away. I got a vegan granola bar and "Kooler" cold pressed juice. Both were really good and the juice came in a jar that can be returned for a discount on a future purchase. The granola bar was different but tasty. It was very crumbly so don't expect to eat it while walking or driving. My girlfriend got a "Red" bowl that was big and seemed to be very filling. The food is somewhat pricey but you definitely get large portion sizes (of the food at least). Hopefully, I will return. I am torn on whether I like having these new, upscale businesses in Ocean City. I certainly like having an upscale small business right in the heart of town, but I have a feeling that bougie places like this are a sign that rising price are here to stay in OC. Upon ordering my first coffee, she walked in the back and appeared to have given the employees my order. When I went to order another, she cut me off and said "can you pls just order them all at once so I don't have to keep running back there?" Oh... ok. She didn't ask me if I wanted anything else at the time and was super abrupt. I then began ordering food and again, she cut me off to walk away and close the front door which appeared to have agitated her our entire visit. The coffee was OK, and the food was delicious but the "rules" and unfriendliness will deter me from going back.
