    Blueberry pie

If you order a pie on same day they charge you 15.00 more because you are taking from what they are selling that day. I ordered a pie for the next day picked it up as said anytime after 11AM, we grab the pie it's frozen so why do I have to pay extra money for something you were going to get from the freeze anyway. It was a blueberry pie that was 27.00,it was small and it tasted terrible for it being supposedly homemade the texture was more like jello with very few blueberries. I guess you live and Learn.

Pizza grilled cheese is GREAT, I had to recreate it at home thats how good it is. They also have great service the delivered the food fast. It has a great atmosphere of workers and customers. Overall great place and my personal favorite food place in LBI. ~Aidan Dillon

Came in for a mint chocolate chip Milkshake. But with a plot twist...I brought in my own double shot of espresso to add to it. The young man who waited in me looked momentarily surprised but made me a milkshake worth writing home about! It was delicious. I loved the decor and vibe of the place and will return to dine on my next LBI trip. Hopefully soon!!!!

Yum yum yum. This place was a 10/10 for me. As soon as we got there it was such a cute chill vibe, we sat ourselves outside but there was availability at some of the barstools inside. Our server came over with water and menus quite quickly and was so friendly and nice. I got the holiday (regular) single cheeseburger with onions, pickles, and lettuce. It was so good, it was a smash burger so perfectly thin and easy to eat. Also got the onion rings which were perfect. The slam burger and ol Barney burger were also given delicious reviews--11/10 by my company. The cheese fries were also very good. Lastly we got milkshakes. Oh my! These were decadent; perfectly thick but still manageable to drink or eat. The service remained consistently great throughout our meal. And for the best part they took out orders on 3 separate checks making it extremely easy and the total was $20 before tip! Throughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone in LBI!!

We went here last night for dessert since we have heard great things about their cake slices. When you walk in there is a round bar to sit at and all of the cakes in the middle. The waiter that helped us was very friendly and gave recommendations since it was our first time there. We ordered the chocolate-chocolate and the vanilla-white slices. My chocolate slice was a little dry and the icing was crumbly, and unfortunately was not as good as I expected. The vanilla-white slice was a little dry as well and had a marshmallow frosting. We are thinking they may have been not as good since it's not the height of the season yet. We were glad we tried this LBI staple though and may try it again later this summer!

Great spot in the middle of a residential area of LBI. They had tons of outdoor seating but we sat inside because it was nostalgic to look at the desserts and all the framed pictures on the walls. This spot is very straight forward, Burgers, grilled cheese, milkshakes, ice cream and a ton of homemade desserts. I got the slam burger and was honestly a little hesitant about the the thousand island on the burger but it was delicious. It's a thin patty and just super simple ingredients but it definitely hits the spot. The buns are also super soft and fresh. Dessert seems like a must here. I went with the yellow cake and chocolate frosting with a small scoop of ice cream. It is a huge portion so sharing is obviously a great idea. Everything was great, I'd love to try their pies next time. There was a ton of teenagers working behind the counter. The service was absolutely fantastic everyone was very helpful always checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Come here for some greasy delicious eats - oh and get the onion rings! They're great.

Stopped for breakfast on our last morning down the shore and LOVED. Never had breakfast here and it was so so good, for a great price, and the service was 10/10. Thank you Holiday Snack Bar for being a staple for us every single summer; now we will be back for breakfast too! ;)

Very cute place to get lunch! My boyfriend and I stopped for lunch because of the unique charm from outside, and we assumed it would have a very diverse menu. We were hooked as soon as we stepped inside! A beautiful round bar in an old original building with a simple, but big menu. Every staff member was kind and courteous. My company and I split a cheeseburger, cheesefries and an order of onion rings (which were out of this world!) The bill was pretty affordable, and we wished we could have tried one of their cakes! Definitely coming back sometime soon!

I fucking LOVE Holiday Snack Bar. Their burgers are among the very best I've had. Simple, normally sized and cooked to perfection, they're perfect. Perfect brings me to their apple crisp which I recommend warm with a scoop of their vanilla ice cream. Their pies and cakes are incredible. Go there, love it and buy the shirt. I did.

The staff were rushed and rude and even the customers seemed unwelcoming. More recently, just a couple months ago, I went against. Figured it's been years and maybe I just had an odd bad experience. This new visit was just as bad. The person taking my order again seems rude, as if me eating there was an inconvenience to her summer vacation. As we waited for food I asked for a cup for water which they seemed surprised by. Upon getting my water another customer was annoyed since they apparently also asked for water and it wasn't clear who the water was for. The staff seems annoyed by both of us. When the food came, it was bland at best. My hot honey chicken waffle looked like no effort was take. The waffle looked like it was warmed up in a toaster. The chicken wasn't much better. I suspect it was a restaurant demo meal that they just warm up. The hot honey...none. Just a generic breakfast syrup. I asked if they had hot honey but the staff looked confused by the question. Apparently they haven't had hot honey for weeks yet they still had it on the menu. I had to settle for a hot sauce that they probably use on chicken wings...which also wasn't that great. Bad ambiance. Bad customer service. Terrible food. Of the places to eat o n the island, this is easily my least favorite.

Listen, before I get into this review, dear reader, you must know I'm someone who loves salt. I'll scarf down a whole bag of snyder's pretzel pieces (nearly 100% of your daily sodium value) at once! I love it so much that I won't be shocked if it's a problem by the time I get to my own "60th" birthday. Never in my life did I expect the jump scare of a salad so salty it made me nearly choke. My mother got the shredded cabbage salad. All of us had a bite. It was like mainlining Morton right from the blue container--a rush of adrenaline, a shock to the system. A stomach ache. My mother sent it back. I tried to enjoy my Caesar salad and my sister-in-law tried to enjoy her green salad, knowing hypertension is a slightly better fate than being branded a 30-something New Jersey Karen during peak vacation season. But it was so bad that surely it had to be mistake and they didn't know! It wasn't like this other times we were here. We should do the kind thing to tell them. So we made the mistake of telling the manager. And this is the reason I'm coming out of Yelp retirement to write this review. The manager alleged we were LYING, saying it was "quite odd" all three of us wanted to return our uneaten salads--send in Sherlock Holmes! We've got a mystery on our hands. They didn't eat their dinner because it made them feel sick. When I asked if she seriously just accused us of lying, she walked back and said "well, the chef said this is not a mistake. This is exactly how it should taste. And maybe every restaurant is not for every person." Quite honestly, I have never been to a restaurant before where I couldn't eat my meal--and then was scolded about it! I can't even recall a time I have sent food back. And after reading the reviews, it's confirmed I'm not alone. I will say, they did take the salads off the bill, and the server (not the manager) was lovely. I gave it one star because--in between contemplating a $45 kids meal--there was enough salt in the food to make my one year old nephew finally speak. Guess what he asked for? "Water"
