Within 30 miles the brakes locked up again and burned them up. Last week I took my pick up into CT's and explained the problem to them. They also replaced the whole braking system plus straightened warped backing plate and charged me $1600. They suggested I look into the automatic towing braking system on the Chevrolet. I have done that and realized that WAS the problem. Won't have this problem again thanks to them. While we left our car there for the day they gave us a lone car - no charge! that allowed us to do some shopping and sightseeing while they worked on pickup. They test drove it, came back and did some more work on it. Then drove it again before they would let me have it. That is how professional, complete and reliable they are. The owner and his wife are just the most delightful people you've ever met and the mechanic is also extremely personable. I would highly recommend this repair shop.

We have continually had great service and excellent communication from this shop. The last time I brought my car in for a repair, they provided a complete diagnostic report with photos of the problem. They broke down all of their concerns along with estimates for each itemized repair. We have brought all of our vehicles in, and had nothing but great service. It's tough to get reliable auto work done in a small mountain town. But CT's has really come a long way, providing dependable repair work in a friendly atmosphere. On one of those trips, my 2013 Jeep JK's radiator basically blew up a couple of miles outside of Pagosa. I pulled into a parking lot and called AAA. While waiting for the tow truck, I needed to figure out where to take it and get it fixed quickly. I didn't want to have to stay overnight. I called my mechanic in Denver, and she recommended Best Rate Auto. I was surprised she knew anyone that far from Denver, but she had lived in this part of Colorado. When the tow truck driver arrived, he recommended the same shop, so that's where we went. I met the owner, Max, at his very busy shop at about 10am. He said he'd have a look and let me know what needed to be done. About thirty minutes later, he told me the radiator needed to be replaced and handed me a written estimate, which, based on my quick research, seemed very reasonable. He said they'd get started right away. At about noon I looked into some local hotels in case it was going to take overnight, and then I walked to a nearby restaurant for lunch. When I got back at about 1:15, Max came out to tell me it was ready. I honestly couldn't believe they were able to get the parts and complete the work that fast. I drove back to Denver over Wolf Creek Pass, and the temperature stayed in the normal range the entire trip. I can't thank Max and his crew enough. They didn't just save my day; they made my month.

Ken is either a CROOK, or is INCOMPETENT. My truck started overheating and losing coolant while…read moremy wife was having emergency surgery. Took it to Ken and told him I think a hose or clamp was bad. He said "it's your water pump" as he looked at it from a distance. Told him to please check it out. He replaced the water pump and I drove it back to the hospital. Next day, coolant levels were low again. Took it back to Ken and he said that's normal as your vehicle heats up and cools down. Headed back to Texas and had to stop every 100 miles to add coolant. This was with a wife fresh out of surgery and on oxygen. It was NOT the water pump. Took it to my local mechanic, he said it was a hose and a clamp JUST LIKE I TOLD HIM in the first place. STAY AWAY if you are from out of state. He will take advantage of you, rip you off, and leave you in a bad situation.
