Holland was the only person who quoted me with a written estimate of the work in a detailed manner and in 20 minutes I had received it in my email. I realized it was a new installation and that there could be other factors involved in a house that was 70 years old, and so the price was a little higher than the quote for the additional items however it was still a reasonable price for this project. Holland's attention to details is a characteristic that runs through his entire process from the quote to the finish. He is a planner. He thinks about what he is going to do and lays out a plan before he does it. His equipment and even his truck shows that he is organized and has exactly what he needs to not only perform the job but also leave the area immaculate which has never happened in all the times I've had workers come to my home. I could tell there was a difference in his approach to the entire job and I was pleased that his passion for his work really does show up and I am a happy customer and even more I have faith now in someone I can call upon for advice and other work projects. Mr. Holland made one correction to my security camera system for which i appreciated & paid him... He then suggested putting my security software on my desktop computer, which i agreed to have him do. He showed me the program on my computer. BUT when i went to use the program it was NO longer on my computer. He also recommended putting that same program on my portable iPad, but after i brought my ipad for him to follow through with his suggestion he ignored my iPad & did not carry out his recommendation. When i posted my complaint here he came to my home, but Instead of fulfilling his suggestions, he falsely charged me for nothing as he continued to NOT follow through with his own suggestions. He could still carry out the work that he charged me for... Instead he's continued to refuse. He's also threatened me, which i am seriously concerned about. I suspect he is prejudiced towards me as i am a minority. I have been respectful & polite to him. I have no idea why he would make good suggestions. Take payment for work then remove the program he put on my computer after i'd paid him for putting it there... If he and I had some kind of disagreement i might understand, but when he was here in my home he gave me every impression he was doing some, not all, of the work he recommended. i am further amazed to find that my previous review, was missing from yelp.
