    I have never written a bad review, but unfortunately have to make an exception for Ken. He returned my computer to me after he was unable to fix the screen saying that the hard drive would still work if connected to an external source. I tried connecting to an external source and it would not turn on. So, I decided, before giving up on the computer to take it to another repair shop, where they opened it up and found that eight critical internal screws were missing (and were not replaced after Ken worked on it). Ken returned my computer with missing screws and told me that the computer was still okay for my daughter to use with an external monitor. When I called and asked him, Ken told me that "my computer is not not working because of missing screws" and told me that I had it all wrong. He never acknowledged his mistake or that he charged me for work that was incomplete and failed to offer a refund for his poor service. The other repair shop told me that these screws not being screwed in can easily cause the computer to short out and never work again. I have been going to repair shops from SF to Oakland for 25 years and have never experienced such a low quality work. Attached is a picture of the hard drive in the condition that Ken left it. You be the judge. Another update: After reading Ken's response, I am absolutely NOT shocked by his lack of professionalism. He claimed that I was inebriated because I was upset about his shoddy work. Then he tells me that he gave me a bag of screws that are from the inside of my computer. That I guess I was supposed to put back. And he lies about telling me that the computer would work using an external monitor. So sad... Ken has already wasted enough of my time. Do business with him at your own risk. Wow... Also, I never insulted Ken, but clearly he felt it okay to insult me. Great customer service and conflict resolution skills.

    Welp I did NOT want to write this review because I usually give people benefit of the doubt BUT since my boy Ken here wasted my time, I have to go out of my way to make sure he does not waste anyone else's. To start off, I woke up today and turned on my PC as usual. A prebuilt PC that I have had less than a year is acting up (PC runs but wont display anything on the monitors). I need this fixed ASAP because I have personal things on it and I use it for work purposes. I call Ken, he's really nice, informs me that he is going to lunch at 3 PM (it was 2:45 PM when I called him). He hears my problem and tells me to call him back around 4:30 PM and he can check out the PC for me and probably fix it within the hour. Cool, awesome! So, I do some chores to bide the time and getting ready because I am going to be out of town this weekend and the last thing I want on my mind is a broken PC. So I call Ken again at 4:35ish. He's still on lunch, lunch must have been fucking amazing because he sounded like he was smiling on the phone and having a good time. Obviously, he was busy. He tells me "You locked in huh? Call me back around 5 PM". Alright. My man is having a good lunch, how am I, as a potential customer, supposed to get in the way of that. Welp, just to be extra courteous, I wait until 5:30 PM to call Ken back. I call, he doesn't answer. Cool. Welp there goes 3 hours of my time, when I could have gone to anyone else and they would have had my PC diagnosed by now. So to put it bluntly, Ken seems like a nice great guy, but he does not seem to respect your time. Which is a huge red flag to a customer/client like me. So I would be wary about bringing your PC problems to him and go anywhere else. Hope the lunch was fucking divine Ken! Quick update: Ken finally called me back at 7:14 PM after seeing this review. He proceeded to call me "a wild dude" and said he would try to get this review taken down. Photo of call received for proof! Good luck! 2nd update to his message below mine: Ken never informed me that he was having dinner with family. He said he was having lunch with "someone". 2nd, it doesn't matter whether I play videogames or not. That is none of your business. You never did business with me because of your own fault not mine. I would have gladly gave you my business had you better managed your time. You should respect the customer as you would yourself. Going out of your way try to get me to take this review down shows your true character. Which is why I will be keeping this review up. This is for transparency purposes to show that while no business is perfect that this should not be tolerated. No timely communication is the fault of your own in this situation, not mine. As I tried to explain to him over the phone before he hung up on me, if he had simply told me from the start that he could not get to me today then I would have just moved on and never have gone out of my way to write this review. Oh well Ken! You wasted my time! I'll waste yours too! Let me know what you had for dinner! I'd like to try too! 3rd update: Ken messaged me to clarify he has multiple customers apparently and got more business because of my review. Just thought I'd share what an upstanding guy the "servant of the people" is.

    I'd give 6 stars if I could…read more Alex has been building computers for over 40 years. I took my old broken case and a separate GPU over to him with a brand new case for a full parts migration. He got it done in 2 hours, cleaned every component, and wired everything up perfectly with exceptional cable management. I also had some questions about my hardware after the build was done and he didn't hesitate for a second to manually take out the SSD I had been asking about, explain everything to me, answer any questions I had and more, and reinstall the components and give suggestions on future part choices. Alex went above and beyond, and notably he was the most affordable out of all the options. I called Computerland in Berkeley, Central Computers, YY Computers, DJ Computers, and for the same service they were quoting anywhere between $140 to $250, asking anywhere between 24 hours and 1 week. Alex quoted $100 over the phone, and when it was time to pay, he asked for just $80. For the quality of service he has provided, there was no way I could just give him $80. Even $100 was a steal. My new PC is running flawlessly, I'm coming back to him without a doubt for future needs.

Xfinity kept telling me the "new" box was going to easily pump wifi through my whole house. It never worked and we had multiple dead spots in our house, where wifi never reached. We ended up trying several things, included a second network setup using Google Nest routers. That also didn't work great and we suffered for years. So finally got fed up, and I called BATH and told Ari what the issue was. He gave me a budget, which I bristled at, at first. Then he walked me through a likely fix, which involved a couple routers networked so that I had independent wifi running on both floors of the house but on the same network. The tech came by and was super nice, and walked me through what they were going to do. I was cautiously optimistic. When they were done? I almost cried at how well everything ran through my house. They even set me up so I had ethernet directly to my gaming PC, and direct into my TV and Xbox. I have not had a single issue since (beside Comcast caused outages), and have blazing fast wifi throughout the house (I pay for the gigaspeed Xfinity). I'm finally utilizing the speed as sold to me by Xfinity. Thanks so much BATH. I really appreciate it. I was super impressed with the emails, the invoices, techs being on time, and just the overall professionalism. It was worth the extra few bucks.

Since they seem to handle a lot of corporate-scale installations, I initially wondered if my project might be too small--but that concern disappeared pretty quickly. The team was already very familiar with Ubiquiti systems and was incredibly patient working with me despite my fairly basic understanding. They walked me through the tradeoffs and ultimately recommended stepping up from mid-range equipment to more professional-grade options. The reasoning was clear, the cost/benefit made sense, and at no point did I feel pressured--just well-advised. The actual Ethernet installation work was top-notch--smurf tubing, recessed (not sticking out!) enclosures, and everything. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is honestly beyond what I would normally expect (or even feel comfortable demanding from contractors). They went above and beyond without being asked, and the cable organization is immaculate. Huge thanks to Justin and John for their precision and quality of work, and to Jim and Rodrigo for their thoughtful recommendations on equipment and access point placement. If you're looking for a team that combines technical expertise with professionalism and genuine care, I'd absolutely recommend them.
