All of the great reviews for My Network Solutions and for Len M, the proprietor, actually understate the quality of what they do. I had a fairly complicated network setup at my house that I could neither understand or get working properly. I had another competing network consultant look at it without results. By contrast, Len understood immediately the network and what I wanted it to do. He worked efficiently and diligently to get it working and even found a couple of bad cables that weren't essential, but that needed repair. I found his quick grasp of my system and its problems quite impressive. He has a deep technical background that makes his service remarkable. He found a couple of puzzling problems and wouldn't stop until he figured them out. I found that insistence on perfection reassuring and unusual. I had spotty WiFi in my garage and backyard, with several of my IoT (Internet of Things) devices failing to even work at all. As you know, it's very hard to stream TV shows when the signal is weak. Len is amazing. Xfinity installed a new router and left me in a helluva mess. Len came in and fixed everything and had me running again in under two hours. Here is the horror story he instantly understood and dealt with. I have a full house custom installed Ethernet and Google mesh Wi-Fi network. By the time XFINITY left after installing a new modem /router the only area that could get internet was the office where their NEW MODEM/ROUTER FROM HELL was located. I do not know how much destruction they had done until they were gone. Trying to get them back was their usual PHONE TREE HELL and resulted in their useless multiple modem resets. After several calls and pushing 0's in the right sequence, I was finally able to an agent. The agent wanted to troubleshoot by phone but given recent previous trouble shooting attempts I said no! Most of that so called troubleshooting effort is mindless and time wasting and terribly frustrating. I demanded a technician be sent out again and fix it. The day of the appointment came. I told the innocent looking guy who was very nice what was going and he said they don't fix internet problems unless a direct Wi-Fi connection is involved. It turns out that their router is NOT SET UP PROPERLY AND WONT WORK WITH IN HOME NETWORKS! Len's expert troubleshooting fixed everything and he actually made improvements all over the house in the 2 hour time slot he was here. For the past 3 years, I was experiencing slow internet connectivity on my *wire-connected* PC and tried everything from replacing my motherboard to running a 20ft ethernet cable from the utilities closet to my PC. After exhausting all my debug efforts, I called up Len and asked him to check if the ethernet wiring within the walls was the problem. Len spent a good deal his time with replacing wall jacks, testing, and re-wiring to find out that the cable was, in fact, the main cause. Late last year, I moved into my new house - a two story from the early 70's. I wanted all the rooms wired with Cat 6 and RG6 coax, so I called Len at My Network Solution based on his Yelp reviews. The rest is wonderful history. In a nutshell, Len is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. When he came over for the estimate, he asked all the right questions to make sure I was getting what I needed. We went room by room and identified where the drops would go, and he explained how the wires would be run through the house, possible issues, and fallback strategies. In the end, Len did an impeccable job, and he did it quickly. Moreover, he worked extremely clean. I ended up with seven rooms wired, and no hint that any work had been done except for a tidy wall plate in each room and a media panel in the garage. In fact, it was cleaner than when he started - the previous owner had laid down some wild coax runs, and Len cleaned them all up when putting in the new ones. After reading the glowing reviews for this company and the awful ratings for The Geek Squad, I decided to give Len, the owner, a try. He showed up within two hours of my call to work on a couple of baffling problems I was having with my home Wi-Fi network. Len arrived a few minutes before the appointed time and spent at least 20 minutes scoping out my problems before he started bill me for his expertise. This allowed me to evaluate his understanding of the problem and get a sense of how easy it would be to work with him. He gets high marks for both. I sat with him for over two hours as he systematically analyzed the very complicated rube goldberg clutter of the elaborate home control system I inherited from the previous owner of my house. Len spent time patiently explaining home network protocol, hardware and operation of my system in terms I could understand. He offered his opinion of hardware and software I have been considering for improving my system and solved my problems to my satisfaction. Len did a great job on a rather unorthodox task. I have two houses that have adjoining backyards, with an intervening pool. After some discussion about planning, we set things up so that each house had its own WiFi SSID, each house had three external security cameras that were all connected to a hub in my main house, and with cabling running between the house as I only had one external Internet source. This was all done with less than $8000 and one day's worth of work. In comparison, a different company (LC Network Cabling) had demanded $30,000 just to start an initial Wireless Site Survey. They had an impeccable 5-star average on Yelp, which is now marred by my one-star review. My Network Solution deserves their stars. read more

I don't know whether Len is more magician or miracle-worker. He had everything involving our ethernet, router, all computers, time capsule, and printer working in under an hour and a half. He even fixed the hardware on my ancient iMac so the ethernet would work on it. Len was super polite, incredibly knowledgable, and FAST (practically running up the stairs). I needed a dongle adaptor and a 14ft ethernet cable in order for one laptop to work with ethernet, and he had both with him. I went with My Network Solution based on the Yelp reviews. I couldn't be more satisfied. Len (the owner) came out on time, assessed my network and sent me a bid. It was very reasonable. His advice was to set up a hard Ethernet port in the external home office and reconfigure a spare router I had as an access point. Today, he and the wire installer (the guy who had the fun job of crawling under my house) came out on time and had everything done in 2 hours. About 3 months ago I purchased a new Dell computer. I hired Len to transfer all my data and set up my new system. He came to my home and did an excellent and speedy job while carefully explaining each step. A few weeks later I started to have a problem with the power button on my new system. Even though I had purchased the Dell Premium Support and spoke to or emailed about 40 Dell technicians, had two in home visits from technicians sent by Dell, two motherboards and a power button replaced and hours and hours of my time wasted, they could not resolve the problem. And eventually didn't care if they did. If you search Dell support on Yelp you will find they have a one star, well deserved rating. As you may know, Yelp doesn't allow a 0 star rating. Contacted Len to relocate my AT&T modem/router to a different room and to add hard wired ethernet connectors in each of my 4 bedrooms with the ultimate goal of not using wireless connectivity. I received a preliminary budgetary estimate via email exchanges and then followed up with an on-site appointment and review for a more refined estimate which I accepted and established an agreeable installation date.
