The acoustics were very good and the slightest of sounds could be heard throughout the space. Seating is stadium like and the row in front of you is just low enough for you to be able to see the stage. The staff working the concessions were friendly quick and efficient. The prices for just about anything were exorbitant as they are in just about all venues. At least people were smiling and got through the lines quickly. As far as I could see, there were only one set of bathrooms that serviced the whole facility. During intermission, the lines were very long but seemed to move quickly enough. All told, this is a good place to see a show and worthy of a night out.

There is also advertising on the large screens so you can keep up to date to see what is coming in the future that you may be interested in seeing. Parking is free and if it is really crowded, there are people in the parking lot directing you as to where to park. There is no guesswork with where you should place your car. There is also quick access to the parkway. You have to go thru a metal detector once you get there and if you have a handbag or a knapsack, they will ask you to step aside so it can be inspected, The seats are very comfortable but the seat numbers are not readily visible-I had to ask someone if I was in the correct seat. I would recommend for any live performance.

The Dancing Dream Team and Band were again solidy good as they performed the hits of ABBA, the girls in lovely costumes and well rehearsed synchronized moves. The audience was responsive and followed directions, either singing along or liting lights on their phones. This group is a good one to follow and check out on social media.

Eisenhower Park is quite large so if you are going to the theater, you need to put the Harry Chapin Theatre into your GPS and not just the Eisenhower Park address. Parking lot six is the lot that is closest to the theater. The theater is a large band shell with a very large grassy area and so you must bring your own lawn chairs. There are paths that lead down to the theater, but be advised that you are going to be on the slight hill and in grass and if it has just rained, it can be slippery and hard to navigate for anyone with any physical issues or disabilities. They do have handicapped seating way at the top of the hill though so you can stay at the very top of the hill and park wheelchairs actually on a concrete roped off section. They have a small concession stand up there and I believe this time they had a food truck for ice cream as well. The restroom is also located at the top of the hill so if you are down by the stage, you have to walk the whole way up the grassy hillside to get to the bathrooms. This was a multi act show that went from 7 PM to 10 PM. It was attended by close to 6000 people, so I do advise getting there quite early if you want to get a parking spot and if you want to have a lawn chair near the front. But regardless of where you sit on the lawn, as with any amphitheater setting, you will be able to see and hear the music. I was in the second row for this show. The very front of the stage is roped off for photographers, and then there was a special section roped off to the right of the stage that was for VIPs and friends and family and merchandise sales and such. Definitely a nice setting for a free concert as the sunsets to the back left of the stage as you were looking at it and there is a big lake back there. I recommend bug spray in the summer, since I got several mosquito bites! There was a lot of security presents to direct traffic, as well as police for safety. I left right before the show ended so that I could quickly get out of the parking lot, which worked very well as I was back to my hotel quite quickly. They do have folks directing traffic at night, but if you leave after the show ends you will be waiting a bit because there's only one road to get back out of there.
