As long as places like this exist, I will never be a skinny man!! Hidden gem blessing to the industrial area of Conway. This is a wonderful cafeteria style lunch place that must have Ben founded by a group of those little ole grannies that can cook!! Fabulous southern cooking that has large portions to be worth what you're paying for lunch. Trust me you won't be disappointed. Only negatives that I could find: 1. Parking has small parking spaces and not enough parking. ( they might need to consider demolishing some of the neighboring businesses and make them into parking lots. 2. Not enough seating. This place is only open on weekdays for lunch. It gets crowded. So be prepared for a wait and a seat. BUT SOOOO WORTH IT!! 3. They are only open for lunches on weekdays. It would be wonderful to be able to bring family in evenings and weekends.

What's not to love about this classic southern restaurant? This is the place to go if you're in search of comfort food. Everything from the fried chicken to the side and rolls is spot on. I've been eating at Holly's since I was in high school and it's a local favorite for a reason!

Hey guys, meet Holly! She owns the place!

I'd heard great things and wanted to give it a try, so today was my day! In a nutshell, Holly's got a pretty good Southern situation going on! A friend and I stopped in for an early lunch to beat the crowd as I've heard the wait gets brutal up in there! We definitely beat the lunch rush, our wait was minimal, and the selection was plentiful. I decided on a friend chicken drumstick, and sides of macaroni and cheese and collard greens. They were good, not great, but good! I made the mistake of walking in with a somewhat "soul food" expectation... not to be confused with "Southern food". The taste, flavors, and textures are quite different. Once I saw the options, I re-centered my focus (so I could be fair and objective) and enjoyed a good, Southern meal! My friend had country fried steak and hash brown casserole ... Get my drift in the marked difference. The star of the show for me was the fried chicken (has a familiar flavor that I liked) followed by the collard greens. The mac and cheese (usually always my #1 favorite) was a bit disappointing as the creamy texture without real cheese stringing in every other fork-full was a let down. But again, this is southern not soul, so I got over it! The sweet tea was a winner, and Holly was friendly and efficient in her service at the register! Overall, Holly's giving the people the people what they want and has the local "Southern/ Country Cooking" market on lock!

The food is really good just a little pricey for what you get. Everything is hand made.

Just happened up on this place and it was delicious. There was so much to chose from on the buffet. The lemon pie was out of this world.

Best southern food in the state period. I would highly recommend trying if you're in Central Arkansas.

It is cafeteria style, so you point out what you want as you go through the line and they pile it on your plate.

We went to the bar and was immediately greeted by Lance the bartender. They were pretty busy so he got our waters and let us know he needed a moment to get the orders done. He was less than 5 minutes to come back and take our drink orders. The drinks were good with a solid pour. The bourbon selection was solid! Unexpected for a dry county for sure. I was pleasantly surprised. The food we all ordered was good as well. I got the bread pudding and as a person who loves bread pudding I have to say this was one of the best! The Sazerac was absinthe forward but not in a bad way. The others in my party enjoyed their cocktails as well. Overall a great visit! Can't wait to visit for a happy hour.

I went ahead and made reservations last min and I am glad I did. The place was full and several people came in and left because they didn't have any. We ordered the salmon dip appetizer. The salmon had good flavor, but needed a little more spice in my opinion. The only real negative about it was that it was watery at the bottom of the bowl. My guess is from the lemon juice. It just created a soggy texture. The wife ordered garlic shrimp and she loved it. I looked up and she had cleaned her plate before I was halfway done with mine. She said the green bean and corn casserole were both had good flavor. Smoked Prime Rib man was I really impressed with this cut of meat. It had great smoke flavor, it was tender, and cooked perfectly. This prime rib had to be one of the best I have personally had anywhere. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes a great piece of meat. Mac N Cheese was good, creamy and you could tell it was homemade. Bourbon black beans I could live without. It tasted like the bourbon needed to be cooked out of them just a little bit longer. It had a very bitter flavor to them. Bread pudding was good and moist. I only wish they had a scoop of homemade ice cream to put on top of it. And maybe a bourbon cream sauce. Overall it was a great experience and I am sure we will go again soon.
