a young boy eating a sandwich

Service service service service. This is a family owned place. We actually left another place where we had waiting for so long to feed these kids and finally we just walked out. When we walked in here they sat us immediately, and almost instantly brought coffee. If you can see the smiles on their faces for just getting a freaking piece of toast, sometimes my friends, it's the way you treat others, not how fancy your business is that gets you a five star rating. From a momma to a business that we would call a whole in the wall, you did your job and you did it so well. Affordable, delicious, fast and friendly. Not much more I could ask for. Thank you for taking good care of our family.

Home cooking with a warm and cozy atmosphere with a charismatic staff. A gem of Gravel Ridge!

I got the egg, sausage, and cheese sandwich on toast with hashbrowns. i'll give it a 5 star because there was absolutely nothing wrong the visit! but, i didn't love the sandwich. i think it was because the cheese to other ratio wasn't good enough. there needed to be more cheese on it but it was good! my hashbrowns were phenomenal and i loved them. my boyfriend got the pancakes and bacon, and the pancakes were very big and fluffy! although kind of a weird color. the service was very good, the 2 servers in there were attentive and nice and i loved how they helped each other. average prices and i'm glad to have another small local business to support.

Nice, sunny decor with great coffee

Ordered chocolate and biscuits. I grew up eating this item. The biscuits were okay. The chocolate gravy was so-so,

With a smile as warm as fresh-baked biscuits and service smoother than melted butter, he made our meal unforgettable. The food arrived looking like edible artwork and tasting even better. Every bite was packed with comfort, flavor, and a little bit of magic. The biscuits were fluffy clouds of happiness, and the rest of the menu followed suit--delicious from first bite to last crumb. Daniel kept our drinks full, our table happy, and our experience top-notch. Great food brings people in, but outstanding service like Daniel's is what keeps them coming back. Five stars, two thumbs up, and one very happy, biscuit-loving customer. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent food in a cute building on a Sunday Afternoon... what more could you want?…read more I won't lie, Sundays are REALLY busy at this place and we waited on the waitlist for not a short amount of time. But the food here is always worth it. I love the french toast biscuit sandwich. My mom had the shrimp scramble, my friend had the Winchester. They both understood the hype. The portions of food are pretty good. We also had beignets to start and they were yummy!!! If you can be a little patience and don't mind parking in a precarious spot (parking extremely limited around here) then you should definitely go!

We came about an hour before closing so some items were sold out like the Mac n cheese. I wanted to try the oxtail, but I guess they sell that on Mondays. I opted for chicken instead. We waited in the dining area with plenty of seating and our order was ready with 10 minutes. The fried chicken wings, baked chicken with dressing, collard greens, and cabbage were so flavorful and hit the spot! The cornbread was a bit dry and the fries were extra crispy. I'd come back for more of this southern home cooking!

I wanna hug whoever made that chicken and dressing. It's the best I ever had. It was silky, fluffy, herby, savory, just everything you want in the dish. I'm certain that the gravy and dressing was made from scratch chicken broth. The price wasn't bad as the portion was enough for two servings. I got double mashed potato because they were out of greens (they must be THAT good). I got fried pork chop for my husband (not pictured) and he absolutely loved it. Will return again, for sure!
