This was the worst food experience. We stopped at Holly's deli around 8:00am on a Friday on our way to West Dennis beach. It has tables and a tv if you wish to dine inside. It's a clean, older building that could use some updates. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and quickly greeted us and took our order. I ordered a hummus wrap and my husband got a turkey wrap. My hummus wrap was gross. It was basically lettuce, a slice of tomato, avocado, and a sprinkling of sprouts in a damp, paper thin and tasteless wrap. The avocado had a weird taste and consistency. How do you make a hummus wrap and leave out the key ingredient? After forcing myself to take 3 bites I still didn't taste a hint of hummus. I threw it out. It was terrible. Either they are super stingy with their portions of hummus or he completely left it out. My husband's wrap was ok - he found the wrap itself to be a weird consistency and super thin. For my meal alone I'd like to give this place one star but I'll be very generous and give them 2. read more

Is it the 1950s? I think it is at Holly's Deli. Tried the cheesesteak without ordering the extra $1 onions and peppers. Great roll. Lots of steak and cheese. You order, you wait and wait some more, then voila--a tasty hot sandwich to go. Lots of nice baked goods and their refrigerated prepared chicken parm and lasagna looked quite good. Make sure you check the Facebook site for daily specials. That said the reuben was amazing. They do have prepped meals for dinner. I tried the speghetti and it was okay. But the sandwhiches they make are awesome. read more

I came in very cute little place never been wanted a quick bit to eat before going back to work I ordered a turkey stuffing sandwich very delious only one there and it took the kid 20 mins to make the sandwich he wasn't friendly but i was surprised it took him that long to make a sandwich but again the sandwich was delicious read more

We stumbled on this lunch spot and ordered the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo! Excellent quality food was provided. Sandwiches were excellent and fresh ingredients. Haddock chowder was tasty and flavorful but a little lacking of fish and potatoes. Perhaps it was at the end of the batch. The atmosphere is a cross between a diner and store but spacious and clean. Overall, we really enjoyed this stop and appreciate the great service. We would definitely return! read more

On Saturdays they have meatball subs for $5 you can't beat it for the price, the place has a small Hometown feel to it

The prepared foods are a little pricey but delicious! We just love both the macaroni and potato salads. We think they are the best in the area. We had the chicken pot pie tonight and it was very good. Our favorite is the American chop suey! We get at least two full meals for two out of the one larger pan. I went to Holly's for the first time on a late April Friday for lunch around 12:30. I was very, very pleased with my experience there. Even though I was doing take out, the restaurant is large and spacious and if I had wanted to dine there, I would have been comfortable. It's informal, with ordering at the counter. Service was good and very efficient. When I was there, they were having a very busy lunch "rush", but the three people working behind the counter were calm and focused, and I was impressed by the operation. I watched as the chef appeared to take great care with each order she prepared. My lunch was definitely worth the relatively brief wait. I ordered their Guacamole sandwich which was grilled and included my choice of bread, three types of melted cheese, tomato, and a generous portion of freshly sliced avocado. It was absolutely delicious and was exactly what I had been craving. I drove to a nearby beach and enjoyed a perfect view overlooking beautiful, peaceful Nantucket Sound. When I first entered Holly's Deli, I was greeted by their large refrigerated case filled with prepared foods and meals to go. Very impressive assortment that included stuffed shells, stuffed bell peppers, ham salad, chicken salad, egg salad, American chop suey, macaroni and cheese, and many more. All sorts of "comfort food offered at reasonable prices. Additionally, they have a variety of fresh bakery items like muffins, cookies, brownies, sweet loafs, Whoopie pies, etc. I very much look forward to my next trip to Holly's. It's counter service with a strong local/regular feel... don't go for the atmosphere. The 9 oz lobster roll was excellent. Was large enough to split, then shared half of a steak and cheese, which was very good too (splurge for the peppers and onions!). Solid offerings on the menu and the prices are very fair. What a marvelous little place. We stopped by on my way to see my mom and wanted a quick bite. We had a couple of fresh made sandwiches and the clam chowder. Every thing was spot on tasty and fresh. they were having problems with one of the coolers so the drinks weren't cold, but they told be up front, so I have no problem with there service. In the freezer case they have meals prepped and ready to go for a quick fix it dinner if you need it. Everything looked fantastic. This place is a hidden gem! I've driven by it a million times and didn't realize what I was missing. I have tried the breakfast sandwich and a chicken cesar wrap (enjoyed on the beach a few hours after ordering) both perfect. Definitely using fresh and high quality ingredients. They do just about everything you'd expect at a deli. I haven't tried it, but the lobster rolls are always flying out of the place making me think they must be really good (I'll be going back soon to find out!). They are busy at lunch times in particular and have a relatively small team so in person orders will take time, if your not in a hurry there is plenty of space to wait but if you can't hang out for ~10 min or so I'd recommend calling ahead. read more

I always heard a lot of good things about Holly's and finally had the opportunity to give it a try. The prices are reasonable and I submitted two orders - one for a pocket and another for a sandwich on a sub roll. The pocket was not made according to what was requested but honestly they sounded busy when I called. It was also not filled well and had a lot of empty space. The sub was made correctly but the bread did not appear fresh as it crumbled into small pieces while eating it. The potato salad was decent and the container was filled. Overall Holly's has reasonable prices and I would give them another try before crossing them off my list. read more

My wife and I tried out Holly's Deli for lunch today. She had the Reuben and I had the All American Burger. Oh, and I ordered a cup of clam chowder. And we were both very pleasantly surprised. The place is still laid out like it was last year when it was still Krista K's. So, it doesn't look fancy. But, the food is hot, delicious, and tasty. And the prices were reasonable. It has tables, indoors and outdoors, making this a great spot to grab lunch. We're adding it to our list of places to eat when we are visiting Cape Cod. And we'll recommend it to family members who visit, too. read more

We heard about this place and was told to us it was great. But we found it to be poorly ran, and not up to standards. It took over 35 minutes for 2 basic sandwiches. As we watched the woman making them, we noticed, even though she was wearing, it was below her nose. I guess she thinks the virus only transmit through her mouth. Also , as we were waiting, we counted 18 - 21 missed calls of other people wanting to give her business, but they could of cared less. Nice people and ultimately solid food. But two complaints here. One, holy crap was this place slow. We walked in at 1140 AM. It probably took us 20+ minutes before we made it to the counter and there were only 2-3 parties online in front of us. And then, I kid you not, it took 35 minutes before we walked out with four basic sandwiches, all of which were ordered from their "featured sandwiches" menu. An hour to walk out with four sandwiches is ... nuts. The second complaint may be a matter of preference, but we ordered two "roast turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing" sandwiches. The whole Thanksgiving on a roll concept is great and done lots of places. But if it's advertised as roast turkey, I've only ever had it with, you know, roast turkey, as opposed to the mountain of sliced deli turkey on these sandwiches. I give three stars for friendly service, and the roast beef and chicken parm sandwiches we got were solid. But if you, like me, are leaving the cape and looking to grab and go, look elsewhere. read more

From all of the reviews here I do not see what the fuss is all about. Maybe it is better to dine in or pick different sandwiches that what we had but who knows. I had the chicken parmesian. It was one of the smallest I have ever had. It tasted decent except that the red sauce was somewhat bland. There was not lots of chicken on it either. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich and thought pretty much the same. Decent and not very hearty. Oh well. read more
