I was looking for a place with good salads and this restaurant came up on my Yelp search. Due to the high rating (4.6) I decided to give it a try. The place is set up like a casual restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. When we walked in they had their radio set on a Christian station praising all kind of Christian ideology for all to hear. When we walked in, the lady behind the counter just looked at us with no welcoming smile nor attitude. I said Good morning and I got a slight smile from her. I then asked if they had any diabetes friendly items on the menu....She said...I don't know what that means ????!???!?! How can you work in a restaurant and not know what diabetes is ??? I then said, items with low sugar content. She still said, I don't know. So I decided to order a salad. Their Basco Salad was described as a bed of fresh greens and a nice Lomo on top. The salad came up fairly quickly and it was delicious. The boneless pork loin was well seasoned and warm. The greens were fresh and well balanced. I liked the food, but the stern long face of the lady as well as her inability (or un-willingness) to help made me drop one star out of my experience.

Great option in eastham along route 6 for a quick bite or to eat for dinner. I called for pick up and it was ready in 15 minutes. They offer great salad options and would definitely recommend!

Ok the food was not cheep but was worth it on taste and portions! Service was very kind and professional Ambience somewhat busy of and on $125.00 for this dinner

Plain fried chicken sandwich. What Chik-fil-a wishes they tasted like.

Far and away the best sandwiches on the Cape. Not just saying that. Small place, but worth it to stop and try Basco grill. Hot sandwiches and chicken sandwiches are standouts.

My family had a nice dinner at this (sort of) fast, casual spot. Bonus points for there not being a long line. The menu has a nice variety of items. The portions are generous. The prices reasonable. Order at the counter. Then sit down and they bring the food to you. We didn't wait long for the food. This place really hit the spot.

We decided to try Basco's strictly based off past reviews. We got the fish and chips, kids burger, and the burger special of the day along with a small side of coleslaw and two soft drinks. Price $65. A tad bit expensive. All the food was great. Fish was hot and tasty. Burger special was one of the best I've had. Coleslaw was just right. Cashier was friendly but not to friendly. Ambiance was cozy. For a once in awhile stop it's worth the visit. Just a bit pricey.

Went here because nothing was really open down the cape. We walked into the restaurant and were not greeted by the lady at the front desk. We asked of we could sit anywhere. The lady, short brown hair classes older, told us in a condensing voice you order here. We ordered Fish and chips and the smashed avocado salad. Service time was pretty quick. We watched while we waited for food. The cashier, lady who took our order was rude to another gentleman who came in asking for a job for her daughter. She answered NO!! The guy tried to justify his question saying that his daughter was 14 years old and maybe that was too young to work. The cashier explained it was the winter and they barely had any customers. I read that other people had issues with other races. My wife is Hispanic, every other person was of caucasian race cashier was reasonably nice but never smiled or looked thrilled to be there. Just before we finished our food a younger worker took over the cashier position. My wife went to use the bathroom and I asked the new cashier is that lady the owner. She responded no just someone that's worked here for a while. I responded well she need to leave.

Friendly service and reasonably well kept place, conveniently located. However, I found the food, a little bit unimpressive, more filled with fries, and less with flavor or meat. For the price, the portions look good sized, but are mostly filled with cheaper, mass produced stuff. It missed the boat on seafood for which you go to a place like this in New England. The clam chowder had little seafood and more potato pieces, and the lobster roll could have used more lobster meat. Probably, not the kind of a place I would visit again.

Quaint. Tasty. Very friendly. The chowder was quite good too. I was very full once all was said and done.

Service was poor, food was fine and the tables were sticky. We ate at Basco Grill because we didn't realize Arnold's was closed for lunch.

Great salmon burger with crispy fries. The restaurant is super clean, too. I would definitely stop in again.

Excellent sandwiches. The BBQ beef and French Dip were both great - and big. Mostly take out but has decent seating inside also.

Great for lunch. The usual fare done well, and other inventive dishes. Friendly folks working there.

No ambiance as it's a take out place, but the food is good. Get the fried turnip balls during Turnipfest...they are to die for!!

Good for sandwiches and lunch wouldn't recommend for dinner. Also there were gnats there when we went! I would get it to go though.

    Do they serve beer/wine?

I don't think so. Counter service operation, I don't recall seeing any alcoholic beverage options

This is a place to have good whisky and steak at first glance, but the menu opens up to banh mi and inventive burger options. I love cozy interiors and I caught them about 40 minutes before closing. I decided take out because I didn't want to keep them and sat at the bar where the staff was friendly and warm even as they were wrapping up. The food was stand out in terms of taste and portions. You're getting a good sized meal with leftovers for Ptown Holiday or in my case, holigay . LOL. We had Southern BLT and Old fashioned burger, we were primed for nueske bacon but the menu can be durable for more vegetal and gluten free options that are just as scrumptious. Burger was sizable and cooked perfect to medium request. Bacon was rich but crisp and the Grafton cheddar had a melty sharpness you needed. Fries were hefty with crisp and fluff interior. Awesome onion strings so crispy! Fried green tomato held up well in the sandwich and the BLT was delicious overall. Loved this dinner and was a highlight of my vacation. Definitely recommend going for starting in or take out!
