Now, being educated in the breed, I can tell that this puppy was very poorly bred. QUALITY french bulldogs start at around $2,500. Let it be known that Holly's Hounds has also been CAUGHT getting deliveries from puppy mills. That's why most of their dogs there are poorly bred and sick. DO NOT GET YOUR DOG FROM HERE! Our puppy has serious issues, he is very aggressive and has major behavioral issues. When I called she insulted us over the phone for being afraid of a dog that is viscously trying to bite us and she didn't care what so ever. It took her a week to even talk to us about the issue. I've never met a more unprofessional or rude business owner in my life. SHE KEEPS THESE DOGS IN HORRIBLE LIVING CONDITIONS. When we got him he was so dehydrated he literally drank a bucket of water, his paws were peeling from his health and standing/living in his own feces. He was soaked in his own pee and had poop stuck to his fur. The moment we left the store a couple came up to us and said "please be careful getting your dog from there, and take him to your own vet right away." I really wish we had listened, No matter how cute they look, take a few more days and find a breeder or you will regret it. Also they are run very sketchy wise and had us go get cash from the bank to pay them. They know the quality of the dogs they are selling and that's why they won't do anything for you once you figure it out. read more

Absolutely do not get your puppy from here. We walked in and the puppies are in cages on the floor where anyone is welcome to pick them up. A lot of the puppies looked exhausted and kept trying to sleep but various people and even children kept picking them up so they could not get any rest. They also were walking around in piles of their own urine and feces and their water bowls were bone dry. Please please please go to a breeder or rescue your puppy rather than going here. read more

We purchased the greatest dog we've ever owned from this place last Christmas Eve. My only regret was that I didn't buy his brother.

I went in HH once and witnessed a new small little puppy who kept picking up his little paws most likely because the floor of the cage was nothing but bars. He was shaking and obviously very scared. I asked to hold him and the front desk person told me no. When I told her the puppy was shaking and seemed uncomfortable she did nothing about it. It broke my heart and I vow never to set foot in there again. I have recently learned that they use backyard breeders. Please know where the puppies come from so you are not supporting back yard breeders and disgusting puppy mills. Thank you. read more

Actually it should be a negative number. This pet store sells puppy mill puppies. Do Not buy a dog here. Adopt. These puppies and their parents are abused don't give money to the Amish, they are cruel to the animals. Do not buy an puppies or dogs from this store... they buy them from puppy mills. Puppy mill dogs are kept in very tiny cages, they're not cared for, they're in the dark for the most part, unsanitary conditions, the dogs do not get Vet care, they're matted to no end. The puppies usually wind up being sickly. The only thing the owner of these puppy mills care about is the money. They don't care for the dogs, they're just money making machines to them. Do NOT buy from this store or any other pet store. There are plenty of dogs at shelters and rescues that need good homes. read more

I understand that people want a certain breed of dog, but do some homework and get one from a reputable breeder and not from this place.

Nothing but positive experience. Visited the store where all the dogs were out and about and interacting free-range style and in puppy gates. When a puppy had an accident, it was cleaned up immediately. I fell in love with a puppy that was minding his own business and taking a snooze. The employees were very nice and quick to answer questions. The store owner and I and were able to negotiate a price for the puppy. The puppy had long hair and the two times I saw him before taking him home,he never had poop in his fur nor was his hair matted. Took him to my vet a few days later and puppy was fine. The puppy was just neutered and microchipped and no one can believe how sweet he is- and he is a such a very sweet boy. I think being at Holly's and the daily interaction with people helped him to be as social as he is. He is so laid back! Maybe I got a diamond in the rough - but I definitely got a wonderful family puppy and I'm sure - per the contract details - if something went wrong, Holly's would have made it right. Does anyone know what kind of life a pound puppy has? What conditions it was born into or grew up in? A shelter close by has taken in saved South Korea dogs that were meant to be food. So what makes those dogs more favorable to be adopted than a mall dog? They ALL deserve a good home and unfortunately, sometimes, things don't work out no matter where they are purchased from. I never do these review things, but my puppy is a pure joy and people should know there are good experiences on here also. Had I not taken a chance, I wouldn't have this puppy that cracks me up and melts my stress away. read more

We visited the store in search of a new family pet. After hanging around for at least 10 minutes, we couldn't find anyone to help us. My daughter started playing with one of the puppies that was on the floor and begin to pick one up, with me standing right next to her supervising. One of the store employees suddenly came out of the blue and began yelling at me to "help her to pick up the dog" when she clearly had no problems picking up the dog at all, especially being 11 years old and having handled other animals before. We immediately put the puppy down, left the store and decided to take my business elsewhere. It's one thing not being attentive to potential customers, but just plain rude to yell directly at customers and walk away. No customer should ever be yelled or treated in such a manner, and it's a wonder they are still even in business with service like that. read more
