1 Star - Misleading Pricing, Warranty Games, Buyers Beware This dealership plays games from the very beginning. The Jeep was advertised online for $27,800. When I arrived at the dealer, the price suddenly jumped to over $36,000 because of ridiculous added fees. I walked away because it was completely unreasonable. A few days later, they called me back saying I could get the same car for $31,000. That alone tells you everything. They constantly change the numbers and try to squeeze a higher commission instead of being transparent. It only got worse after the purchase. I bought the Jeep with 27,300 miles and was clearly told I had a 3-month or 3,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, plus a 7-year powertrain warranty. When I tried to use the warranty, I was told I had to pay a $100 diagnostic fee, warned the issue might not be covered, and suddenly my bumper-to-bumper warranty was reduced to 2000 miles instead 3000 The excuse was that the contract conveniently shows 28,300 miles, even though the vehicle was sold to me at 27,300 miles. That mileage discrepancy was never disclosed and directly shortened the warranty life. On top of that, this so-called certified vehicle came with warning lights on the dashboard and serious mechanical noise, yet the dealer refused to take responsibility or help in any meaningful way. Advice to buyers: bring your own mechanic, do not trust online pricing, do not rely on verbal promises, and read every line of the contract. AWFUL experience overall. I called this location as I'm about to be done with my car payment and wanted to get a new car from the same dealership. I had a couple questions first about my current auto loan. I called and was greeted kindly by the first woman who immediately pulled up my info/name through my phone number before I could give it to her which was nice. She then transfers me to Rachel Guido for further assistance who proceeded to be extremely rude and then go on to ask me if I even got my car from that dealership... like girl what?? I told her I definitely did to just look up my number or name.. it was super weird. I asked her if she was okay and she escalated things and got even ruder I've never had an experience like that EVER in my life. Super dismissive and unprofessional. I should have just gone to a different dealership. Years ago when I first got my car I went in for a tire rotation and as I was driving home hours away (I moved) my hubcaps started popping off and when I called them they told me someone probably stole the hubcaps and that on video I left with all of them on so it's not their fault. I had a very frustrating experience with this dealership's service department. I brought my car in for an airbag recall and also requested a full inspection, confirming in advance that everything could be done within two days. I dropped the car off on Monday and was told it would be ready by Tuesday evening. No one contacted me Tuesday. When I called, I was told it would be ready Wednesday, with no real explanation. Only after calling again the next day did I find out the airbags were not even in stock. So my car sat there for two days with no work done, and no one informed me. Over the next few days, I kept getting the same vague updates ("today or tomorrow"), but nothing was actually ready. A manager was supposed to reach out and never did. I was left without a car for several days, which impacted my work, and a rental was only offered after multiple follow-ups. I was finally told late Thursday evening that the car was ready, right before closing. When I came in the next day, my advisor was not there and I wasn't told in advance. Another employee handed me the keys with no explanation, told me to "wait until Monday" when I asked questions, and just pointed toward the parking lot. I had to find my car myself among dozens of similar vehicles. When I finally found it, the battery was completely dead and the car wouldn't start. Instead of helping on the spot, I was told to leave it until Monday. On top of that, the interior was left dirty after the repair, and the full inspection I requested (and was willing to pay for) was never done. Overall, I brought in a clean, working car and got it back late, in worse condition, and not even operational. I would not return here. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. I was going to purchase a 2023 Ford Mustang. Advertised price was $18,405 plus dealer fee of $1,384.02. Then all of a sudden they demand an additional fee of $2,692 for mandatory LoJack, appearance protection, etch protection and reconditioning. No where on their website is this fee mentioned, nor would they remove it. I actually have a copy of the sales agreement they wanted me to sign if anyone wants to see it. **UPDATE** Josh C. sent the below response a few weeks after I posted this review. Short version..... they tried to screw me and quoted me a price that was nearly $9,000 (yes, $9K) over what another Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealer actually billed me for doing the work. Went to charge at their EV charger on 7/3 was seen by TWO of their workers park my car while my boyfriend went to the slow charger but then moved to the fast chargers on the other side. We started charging around 8:30pm while the maps did say they were closing at 9:00pm we just wanted a little bit of charge before hitting the road again. Assuming if a place is closing the most LOGICAL thing to do IF YOU see customers is to state that you WILL be locking the gate because it's past hours. Unfortunately two of the workers one in a jeep and one in a truck drove by us, SAW our car turned on and went to lock the gate in the back where they keep their cars. Then SLOWLY drove backwards to exit the dealership. They both left us in there LOCKED inside inconveniencing one of us, considering we had to be at work in a couple of hours. As we were at the front a truck driver dropping of a car wasn't able to leave the car because manager wasn't picking up the phone. So not only were we stuck inside but this man wasn't able to complete his job. We resorted to having to call the cops to come let us out. Thank god while waiting the janitor came and opened the gate to get in and was confused but let us out, at that same exact minute did the cop also come to try and help us. We contacted the dealer today (the following day) to file a complaint about the situation. But would you believe they AVOIDED to call back and help our experience with them be better stating that their manger was closing a deal and was gonna call back soon. This Chrysler location has a very good assortment of Jeeps. I love the set up inside the lobby and of course free gourmet coffee and water while people wait for their vehicle repairs or maintenance in a comfortable room. The loaner vehicles are hard to come by unless scheduled far in advance but they seem to be under 3 hours for maintenance. The staff is professional, super friendly and attempt to meet your requests. Value is very reasonable here too. 4.5 star rating at this point. read more

I purchased a Jeep Compass from this dealership and unfortunately the experience after the sale has been extremely disappointing. As part of the deal, the dealership was supposed to pay off the loan on the vehicle I traded in. However, they sent the payoff check to the wrong bank. I have sent multiple emails explaining the mistake and providing the correct information, and I have also made several phone calls trying to get this resolved. Despite all of this, no one has reached out to me or taken responsibility for fixing the issue. Because of their mistake, I have now been charged late fees on a loan that should have already been paid off, and I am also being charged insurance on a vehicle I no longer own. The lack of communication and accountability is extremely frustrating. The post-sales service at this dealership is very poor, and once the sale was completed it seems like customer service completely disappeared. I would strongly recommend future buyers be cautious and make sure everything is handled properly, especially when it comes to trade-ins and loan payoffs. read more

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent experience at Hollywood Chrysler Jeep. I visited the dealership specifically to purchase a vehicle that was advertised online. To my surprise and frustration, I was informed that the dealership would not sell the car at the advertised price. The dealership representative stated that because I intended to pay cash, the price of the vehicle would be an additional $3,000. This practice of raising the price for a cash buyer, especially after advertising a lower price, is misleading and unethical. Unfortunately this is my last time coming for parts or service as as loyal customer I am very disappointed in this place. I have done most if not all of my services here in have bought parts and accessories yet they decided to treat and charge their loyal customers in an unfairly manner. Yesterday I went for a regular oil change and a differential oil change in my 2019 jeep wrangler the service advisor bernalson douze agreed on a price for both services and then decided to flip flop prices after an agrement and made me sign the repair estimate but he covered the part of how much it could exede and changed the price on both services later on. a total of approximately $250 plus taxes we agreed when everything was done he came with a $350 bill because there were some shop charges extra , none of it that I was aware before signing the estimate when I complained a wannabe manager told me the sign with the extra shop charges was at the cashier, no where near the service department and you would only know about them AFTER you get the services done these people are theives and liars who take advantage of their loyal customers and change prices when they want never consistent and to put the cherry on top they didn't even have the decency to reset my oil light. I originally made my review a 5 star but boy was I fooled by this dealership. I was so excited to get a beautiful good condition jeep for a great price but everything else has been a nightmare. First let's start with the car was advertised to have heated seats and when I was there and noticed it didn't the guy was just like "well it was a misclick and I don't know what to tell you. Plus it's Florida and you don't need them" and didn't at all try to fix their mistake and I should have walked away then. The finance department was the biggest disaster as we were there for 5 hours because "they were having trouble". Fast forward to a month later we noticed our loan information still hadn't shown up and so we call the dealership and they had "no idea" what happened but no loan was ever applied for by them so we had to submit a entire new loan request with different interest rates because someone in their finance department messed up. Then since we had to apply for a new loan there was a 2000 dollar difference because they had us pay some fees the day we were there, the loan changed and they then owed up that money back and don't even get me started on how many calls that took to get lined out. Now let's fast forward 11 months later. July of last year we traded in our car to purchase new Jeep and we are now getting tickets because our old mustang has new plates yet somehow is still in our name and I have called multiple times, talked to multiple people and keep getting told "they will take a message" yet nobody wants to help me. So I have a 85 dollar parking ticket that the company says unless someone sends updated proof that the car is no longer ours it's our responsibility to pay. For a car I traded in to this dealership almost a year ago. If I could go back I would have bought my jeep somewhere else. I regret ever giving this dealership a good review. Beware. read more

Drove 2 hours to purchase a car. Got phone car reminders to come in for our "appointment." We even got texts to confirm 45 prior to our arrival, when we were well on our way. When we got there, or sales associate was out sick and the manager came out to tell us that they had just sold the car out from under us. We drove 2 hours and nobody had called us to let us know!! Other than typically high dealer repair costs, I had been satisfied with them. UPDATED REVIEW 11/11/24: HCJ has fallen to 2 . I had oil an indicator light come on a few times over a few months, solid or blinking. I am not leaking oil and I have a good 1400 miles before the next is due. So I got up early on Saturday morning 11/9. What their website DOESN'T tell you is Saturday service is basic. At 7:09a, service opened. I was asked if I'm there for an oil change & I said no, and proceeded to explain why. Would I leave my car to be diagnosed? We don't do that on Saturday. Of course, I was not going to leave my car for 3 or more days, especially without having other transportation lined up. When I inquired why the website doesn't reflect they only have limited services on a Saturday, you could hear crickets. I left. Went back this morning, Monday 11/11. Without even looking at my car I was told it would take five days to diagnose it. Seriously!?!? Never in my decades of driving have I had to wait five days for any car issue to be diagnosed. I have taken my car to Firestone, a fair priced, proven place I have used for my current & other car over the past 20+ years. Really? Maybe she called someone else, because NOBODY had the decency to call back, even days later. I left a message with the service manager on Friday, 1/9 - no call back. As before, I ended up going to a 5 rated company who not only replaced my two fobs & valet key, they also did it (based on prior experience with HCJ), for substantially less, guaranteed & a stellar job. Also got an immediate appointment & no excuses. HCJ can apologize all they want. HCJ can post all the apologies & excuses they want. I drove almost four hours to look at and buy a truck. well the truck that was advertised as certified was put in the shop after they test drove it earlier in the day even tho I have an appointment. (so they tried to sell it before I drove near 4 hours to buy it) I got there after a long drive and no one thought to call me or even look at the appointments for the day. they then showed me base models telling me for the same price while I was looking at a upper trim lever. then showed me two more cars both with check engines lights and one with a noticeable misfired. asking $35k aka 40k out the door for a truck running like crap. I'm extremely frustrated with the lack of follow-through from your customer service team. Last week, I chatted with someone named Abigail, who was supposed to confirm whether my Jeep is still under warranty and schedule an appointment to address a few issues. I have yet to hear back. Is Abigail a real person or just a chatbot? Because at this point, there's no difference if nothing gets done. For starters, the Stop/Start system has never worked since I got the car, I mentioned this a couple of times but the issue was never addressed, now there's a dashboard warning light to service it. Also, the engine makes a loud noise when running, like air escaping from underneath. Another example of your lack of care for your customers, after the front axle on my new lease was replaced about a year ago because of a "faulty sensor", I noticed a loud cracking sound when turning the steering wheel left and right. I brought the car back and was told the pinion gear needed to be replaced and that I would receive a call when the part arrived. It has been over a year, and I have never heard back. This is unacceptable. I don't know if this is just my experience or if all your customers are treated this way, but I expect better communication and service. If Abigail or any other representative is unable or unwilling to assist, please have someone else take over and ensure these issues are properly addressed. At this point, I'm debating whether to bring the car in for service or simply wait until my lease ends and take my business to another Jeep dealership. read more

If there was a way to give negative ratings, I would. This is the worst dealership in south Florida. The Service will take weeks. They won't give you a loaner until "after they diagnose the vehicle" (their actual words). So you won't have a car while they waste time doing nothing for days. You can't get service members on the phone. I've actually had to uber in just to speak to someone after I dropped my car off. This has happened on two separate occasions. DO NOT TRUST HOLLYWOOD CHRYSLER JEEP Hollywood Chrysler Jeep is, without a doubt, the most unprofessional and dishonest dealership I've ever dealt with. Their lack of accountability, customer service, and basic respect is astounding. Back in June 2022, I brought in my 2018 Grand Cherokee for AC repairs. What should've been a routine service turned into a nightmare. The technician, Frankie, was caught on my dash cam engaging in unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. He used my Jeep to visit a mini-market, purchased beer, cracked it open in my vehicle, and then went to a park to relax during his shift. Upon realizing I had a dash cam, he tried to disconnect it but failed. Later, he disposed of the beer behind the dealership. This level of misconduct is horrifying and illegal. While the then-service manager, Rick Ogle (RIP), made Frankie pay for my repairs out of pocket, I never should have had to deal with this in the first place. Despite this disgusting breach of trust, I continued using HCJ. In September 2023, I purchased a 2019 Wrangler Sahara with Ruel, who was an excellent salesman. However, their service department continued to prove itself completely incompetent. My Jeep started pulling to the right, and it took three technicians to "replace" a track bar that didn't need replacing--it just needed a simple alignment. Even then, their alignments were done so poorly that the vehicle remained misaligned after every visit. Miguel in the express lane was dismissive and rude, and it wasn't until my husband came along that they took the issue seriously. The final straw came when my Jeep went in for an oil leak on December 23, 2024. While I understood delays due to the holidays, the lack of communication was absolutely unacceptable. Neyma, my service advisor, only updated me once in two weeks. On January 3, 2025, Brandon, the service manager, promised me a loaner if the repairs weren't completed by the weekend. When I returned on Saturday, Brandon stated they still didn't know where the leak was coming from. Even more disturbing, I found my dash cam disconnected again. After my previous experience, this was deeply unsettling. When I confronted Brandon, he brushed it off, claiming it was "corporate policy," which only made the situation seem more suspicious. On Sunday, I drove by the service center and saw my Jeep sitting untouched. On Monday, Brandon dismissed my husband and directed us to Neyma, who didn't even have accurate updates. When I asked for the promised loaner, I was denied. At this point, they told me there was only a "50/50 chance" the issue was fixed. This is unacceptable--repairs should be 100% completed before returning a vehicle. When I asked for an invoice, I was told none was available, and my service history online shows no record of the visit. This raises serious questions about their transparency and professionalism. My husband emailed the general managers, Richard and Joshua, on January 6, 2025, but as expected, we have received no response. This dealership has proven itself time and time again to be unreliable, untrustworthy, and outright dangerous. From drunk technicians to gross incompetence, to outright lies and deception, this place is a disaster. Prices are a little steep but that's expected from a dealership. They got my Jeep fixed in about 2 days and it runs fine. I will be back to get more repairs. read more

Terrible experience. Got caught in a pileup on the highway and had to have the front clip and front hood replaced on my hellcat. 4 months later I finally got the car back and three of the dummy lights were on... They had me bring it back to service a week later and when I finally picked the car up I drove out of the parking lot and the check engine light came on. I need an update on my car getting a diagnostic after 5 business days (not including weekend) I have no communication no timeline no voicemail returns, only for a diagnostic service. All I need is a response and a timeline. A week for a diagnostic is unacceptable. read more
