I read a lot of wonderful reviews about Dr. Moore online when looking for a dermatologist for my kids. I am so glad we chose him and this office. He gave us the time and attention we needed, allowed us to ask any questions and got us started on an aggressive treatment plan that I am confident will be do wonders. I see that previous reviews were negative due to wait times and I have to say, that was not our experience this week. Although Dr. Moore's assistant did tell us that he likes to spend a lot of time with each patient and that there may be a wait, we were seen by about 3:00 for a 2:30 appointment and that included spending time completing paper work and the initial intake with the assistant. We were out of there in under an hour so I have no complaints at all. I already made an an appointment for myself to take care of my own skin issues! I'll update this review once the treatment is complete but so far I am very happy with our experience with this practice. read more

Extremely high Upfront charges - Horrible treatment for your money! I called to see the doctor regarding some sun damage area on my skin to get her opinion. I made an appointment and arrived on time. I was told by receptionist to fill out some paperwork, I did at the end of that I was asked to make upfront payment without even been seen by the doctor witch I found completely strange I was charged $171.87 upfront for the doctor visit that I did not even seen or spoke with, and when I asked why you are charged me upfront and what if doctor does not provide me any information or does not see me at all - I was told by incompetent secretary that it's how they work. I just never had to pay upfront any doctor office ever. This place already had some negative reviews regarding its practices and I honestly don't think they even care. I arrived 15 min prior to my appointment and had to sit for 1 :26 before I start asking why am waiting so long for. I don't understand why the appointments are made if people have to sit for 1:26 before they are seen - do the doctors who's salary's we pay must think we have nothing to do but sit for hours to wait for them? When asking the blundering front desk worker again why I have to sit and wait for 1 :26 min for the doctor she said "I don't know what to tell you" - really? So finally the doctor showed up and spoke with me - she was very knowledgeable on the issue we discussed and explain in the details what have occurred with my skin. The doctor gave me options for the treatment - So It's is now 4:46p pm and my appointment was at 3:00 wow. The doctor spend less the 20 min with me and left. I will visit with another doctor next week to get a second opinion. My truly issue wit this place is that the incompetent staff at this location makes this doctor look very bad, I even told the doctors she needs to fire all of them and get a new staff - because " I don't know what to tell you answer just doesn't work for me. If I pay cash money to see the doctor I am not asking for a favor-I demand service I am paying for and for $171 per visit you better learn how to dance to my rhythm!!!! If it wasn't for the doctor at this place that I visited with I would rate this @ 1 But the doctor was very professional and friendly and knew her job well. I rate this 2 - and want to advise you when you go to this place - demand service you pay for!! Doctors are turning this into a money making machine - it's like they don't care about people that visit them seeking their opinion. It's all about money money money! I'll start by saying that Dr. Moore is really knowledgeable. However, they are absolutely awful with time. Every appointment at their office has started over an hour late. I've tried to figure out a solution to be able to see Dr. Moore without it negatively impacting my workday. However, that is not possible because they simply do not respect the time of their patients and are unwilling to stop scheduling people in 15 minute increments. Nevertheless, I'd say go check them out if you have the ability to waste hours of your day, while paying for an appointment. They'll definitely fix your skin. read more

Dr. Julian Moore was very responsive, polite and knowledgeable. He took very little time in making a diagnosis and was very conscientious about determining which meds/treatments were the best for me. However, I was on time and even 30 minutes early, then waited in the examination room for nearly an hour. For my follow up visit I decided to show up just before the appointment time, when the office called me to reschedule. I'm ok with rescheduling as necessary. However, they cancelled less than 30 minutes before my appointment time and I was already in the parking lot when I got the message on my cell about the cancellation. I have the sense that the doctors in this office spend A LOT of time taking to each patient which is excellent. However, to the point this pushes back the appointments of patients who come later, results in delays or cancellations, this becomes a serious quality of service and waste of time. read more

I'm very disappointed with the service at the Hallandale Office. I've been going there for many years, and I repeat to myself "I'm not coming back..." , Why ? because of the waiting times to see the doctor, it takes from 1:30 to 2:30 hours !!! What do I have an appointment for ??? My time is also important... I work 45 minutes from this office but nobody cares about it. Staff at the front desk seems polite, but at the end they are inefficient... always the same, even when I spoke to the doctor and made my claim for the waiting time. The only reason I put a 2 Star instead of 1 is because Dr Julian Moore is very good not only as a doctor but as a person. Last week I made an appointment to see a dermatologist. If was a very easy process. The doctor was not available until way too far in the future, and they offered to me to see an ARNP. Personally knowing quite a bit of Registered Nurses, I had no reservation to skip the wait and scheduled my appointment in four days. The reason I chose Hollywood Dermatology - they were on the list of doctors through my health insurance. And since I have HMO, my expectations of this place were very low. To my surprise, the office looks like a place I would choose even if I HAD a choice ))). Clean, friendly, all records are i-pad based. I even filled out all the paperwork ahead of time, which is available through their web-site. (I really hate filling out doctors forms in their offices. I always tend to hurry, like my speed would lessen my wait time (NOT)) Waited about 5 minutes. Then I was asked to come in. I saw Susana Mandel after spending around 7 minutes in their office. Bravo! This was my experience. I arrived with my son 10 minutes before the appointment. First they told me to pay $ 143 for a visit for not having health insurance when I previously gave them my insurance card. I warned them and they told me "sorry it was a mistake" and then charged me with $65, the correct amount. Then, they tell me that they have to charge me $65 again, after canceling the last transaction because they had made the input in a wrong account. We were waiting 1 hour when after claiming they made us come inside and then wait for another half hour without attending us. After an hour and a half waiting with my son and with an office full of patients in the middle of a pandemic situation and claiming my $65 back, we left without being able to see a doctor. I can understand we have to wait and doctors of any kind charges a lot of money and you always have to understand, be patient and wait all they want but, my guess is they are trying to see more patients than possible in one day. One star is too much for that clinic. Not all satisfied with that clinic which failed to call the patient in order to cancel an appointment prior to the time. Also long wait time to see the practician. The clinic has a no-show up policy for $50.00. What about the opposite situation when the clinic denied to accept you after you show up? Right? Dr ANN MAZOR REED is totally the best doctor I have ever been to. There was no wait time- friendly staff- all did their best to relax me and make sure I was comfortable. Great bedside manner and a winning personality. I could not be more pleased. I give her A+++++++. Love her! I recommend her to anyone looking for a good dermatologist. She explains everything- her assistant is super cute and honestly I forgot I was in a doctors office- no stress. I like the fact A- woman, B- young, C- her personality is refreshing. I saw Dr. Ann Mazor Reed in mid-December, and have just not had the chance to post this note. I was incredibly disappointed in the service she provided. She was not interested in hearing what my concerns were, and as I tried to point out several issues of concerns, she quickly glanced at each item and essentially said "oh, that's nothing" every time. I explained on one issue that my family practice doctor was concerned about a mole, and she said "well, who's the expert on these things?" She spend a total of less than two minutes with me. If zero starts was an option, I'd click that instead. P.S. Another dermatologist at Cleveland Clinic decided that the mole issue warrants close follow-up, and I'll be back in six months. read more

This is by far was the worst consultation I have ever experience. I was seen by P.A. Nancy Muskat. Explained to her I was advised to come to Hollywood Dermatologist to have a Lipoma removed. She went on to brag about how many years she's been doing this and her main concern was the cost of the surgery and if the insurance would cover and co-payments required. Then for good measure, she went on to tell me, I can't see you for six weeks or even schedule a surgery and at first wouldn't even see a video of the stitches perform 48 hrs prior in the area. Unprofessional to say the least, no examination of the area, no recommendations for a ultrasound sonogram. And still claimed, didn't think it's a Lipoma and suggested could be something worse. Needless to say, ran out of there to see my PCP which scheduled a sonogram in 2 hrs and just received confirmation it is a Lipoma. Never again and I hope anyone thinks twice before appearing at this facility or being seen by this P.A. read more
