I will never be giving this business my money again…read more I brought my bridal shower dress in on June 3 and was promised it would be ready by July 3. When I called on the promised pickup date, I was told it wasn't finished and that she needed more time. I specifically explained that I needed my dress well before my July 12 bridal shower so there would be time to make any necessary adjustments if needed. Instead, I was left dealing with unnecessary stress over a missed deadline. The dress fit me 3x bigger as I bought a bigger size on purpose so that she can alter it accordingly to my body. It zipped and buttoned without any issues. After the alterations, it would no longer zip or button across my upper back. Instead of taking the time to evaluate her work or acknowledge that something may have gone wrong, I was immediately told that I had "gained weight." While poking my back with her finger. That was insulting and completely dismissive. When I returned to discuss the issue, I was hoping for accountability or even a sincere apology. Instead, I received neither. There was no ownership of the situation and no genuine concern for the inconvenience and frustration this caused. Yet I STILL paid. No discount, no sorry, nothing. So I took everything I had given to her prior and will be taking my business, my friends, and family to another business that cares. My advice to anyone considering alterations here is to insist on having your measurements taken with a tape measure in addition to any pinning. My dress was pinned, but no measurements were taken, and after my experience I would not be comfortable relying on pinning alone. When someone trusts you with an important garment especially for a once in a lifetime event they deserve professionalism, clear communication, accountability, and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and because of that I will not be returning or recommending this business to others.

They took my coat in and did a fantastic job on repairing the rip in my sleeve. You can't even notice that it's been repaired. The ladies inside did all the work personally, while in there one time they were doing adjustments on a young lady's wedding dress. It seems they're able to handle just about any kind of sewing or alterations needs that may come up for you. Month or three later I decided to get another poor messed up hat that was very classic and upscale when new. Just a wash in Woolite and the thing looked alright. Even the ribbon was alright and the man at the counter was upbeat and positive about the ability to install the sweat. I got the hat at a estate sale for $20, the sweat on eBay for 20+ handling. To get it back with the sweat sewed in backwards, and the ribbon sewed back on crooked was a huge bummer. The $20 cash I paid him was just to get me out of the mall where the location really still is. I would not trust them with cleaning or tailoring anything after this second time. The other hat was sewed in crooked but the hat being a Resistol with a former vinyl band was not as nice as this one was. This Dobbs was a 50's era vintage. I read the sweats are normally sewed by hand or on a special machine. The machine is not cheap, thought Maybe they had one. Maybe one that adjusted. Not sure if it would be worth getting it fixed now. One star is hard to get but they would deserve it. Avoid.

She quoted me an incredibly affordable price that was way under what others had quoted me (*cough David's Bridal cough*). She did excellent work, and the day of, I felt amazing in my wedding dress. Angie also worked with my Mom to alter her Mother of the Bride dress. My Mom was having a tough time finding a dress that she liked and suited her. Angie was incredibly patient offering my Mom suggestions and working with her when it came to make the final alterations. I really really appreciated all her patience working with my Mom.
