The entire house is stunning, inside and out. I was lucky enough to stay in one of the most recently renovated rooms, a jungle themed paradise. The room was pristine. The decor is gorgeous. Upon walking inside, there was calming safari music playing on the TV. I felt like I was in heaven. The location is unbeatable, especially for history buffs. The house is across the street from the New Castle Court House Museum, one of six sites that comprise First State National Historic Park. And it's wonderfully quiet area. I was relaxed and at ease the entire time. I would 100% stay here again, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a peaceful getaway!

One of the elevators was down, but you can easily use another one in a different place to get to your room, no problem. Parking is $10/night which is annoying, make sure to pick up your permit at the front desk. There's a huge, spacious lot, there's no reason to charge $10/night to park. If parking were free, this would be five stars since everything else was wonderful. But it's not so it's four stars. Still good.

After our long 8 hour drive today we needed quiet and comfort and the full Hiltons usually fit the bill with quiet hypoallergenic rooms and a restaurant on site. But tonight there was a wedding and the door to the ballroom opened into the tiny restaurant with loud music playing and wedding guests loudly strolling through the entire time. The very rude "night manager" (who was also the bellman in his bell staff uniform) forced us to move us from the quiet hypoallergenic room we booked online on the 4th floor to one on the 1st despite our pointing out that Skye is a hypoallergenic non-shedding breed medical service dog. The air conditioning system in the building is ancient and rattled on and off all night. The curtains were flimsy and parking lot light showed through. My allergies kicked in because of the scented spray they used to cover up the strong animal smells in the carpet so no sleep was had by any of us. We will not be back.

Right off of 295 which couldn't be any easier to get on/off from. The parking lot is shared with a Cracker Barrell and an Applebee's and it's a short roll across the street to a KFC and to The Bell. The hotel is what it is for what I suspect is an older building that looks like it was somewhat renovated within the last few years but if you look close enough they definitely cut some corners in that area (bathroom caulking & paint were in miserable condition and the back of the bathroom door had as much paint missing from the door as was on the door). The room was basically as expected with it being on the opposite side of the building from the highway so there was no noise at all. But even if there would have been, upon entering, there was no doubt the a/c worked as the thermostat was set to 64 and the unit was ripping jet engine full blast. Hampton breakfast is Hampton breakfast and we've learned to skip it the same as they do have a small outdoor pool and some guest washers/dryers but didn't have a need for either of those. Nothing really sexy or outstanding here but if you need clean, serviceable and functional, this Hampton has got you covered.

She looked at me like I was something that was on the bottom of her shoe and told me "it's still a dollar a bottle" 11 hours on the road and I'm in no mood for that "tude" but it's not worth it to deal with someone who obviously doesn't give a rats ass. I'd sleep under a bridge in the median of the Jersey turnpike before I ever stay in that place again. especially for almost 200 bucks a night. Hell I could have, and should have stayed at the super 8 across the parking lot for less than half of that and probably have been treated better. There were other issues but that one really set me off This joint isn't worth the BS. go elsewhere.

There was plenty of desk space and a small sofa with a computer desk. The bathroom was adequate. The view from the room was great. It was nice that we could see a high school rowing race one morning from our room. Breakfast is served downstairs. They had a pretty good offering of breakfast items. They had the usual items like scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. One of the mornings they served a smoked chicken for smoked chicken burritos. It was different and good. Along with these breakfast items, they also had coffee and juices. The gym is located on the first floor. They had sanitizing wipes to clean the machines before and after using the machines. A large screen tv was there for watching. Ellipticals and treadmills are available for you to use. It was enough for a good workout. The Homewood was a good hotel for me. Both my wife and I liked it. If in this area again, we would stay here again.

He checked us in quickly as well as gave me fantastic restaurants ideas for dinner. We went to our room and I was overjoyed with the décor in space given. I loved everything about our room so much so that I didn't even wanna leave back out. Everything went well, perfect temperature, clean, and visually attractive. There was plenty of parking, on site business center, indoor pool and jacuzzi, outdoor courtyard and indoor bistro that served breakfast and dinner. The one and only gripe I have about this place is the ceiling in my bathroom (Room 232). We had the most comfortable shower head but right above the shower head, the ceiling looked like it had a recent repair any wasn't smoothed out properly so you could actually see where the damage was to the ceiling in the poor patch up job. Despite my one and only gripe, I'd definitely stay at this hotel in the future making a my 1st choice!!

The rooms are on the outside rather than all on the inside like some locations. While that could be good in that you don't hear kids running down the halls or the smell of weed or late parties in the rooms...a big downside is that loud vehicles were coming and going all night, which obviously made sleep more difficult.

The suites and skyway are the pictures they are showing. What they don't show you is the dive, the picture attached below. We got two rooms that were supposed to be adjoining and they weren't. Our room is clean but the second room while it is a non smoking room stinks to high heaven as the maid was smoking as she was cleaning. We did complain, we shouldn't be charged for the cleaning fee. With the exception to our second room, the room we stayed in was clean. Beds were odd, you could feel the springs in one but not the other almost frumpy. There is a funky smell, maybe change the carpet. The shower on the other hand was seriously one of the best I used in hotels. I think the room was either designed for or by little people. I am 5 ft 10 inches and everything is at or below my thigh, very strange.

In this case, it's because this Super 8 is exceptionally bad. In fact, this has got to be one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Upon checking in, I hurried to my room for a shower and some sleep. Nevertheless, my room did not come with any soap. I had to go all the way down to the front desk to bring back a single bar of soap. Once I brought the soap back to my room, I noticed that the shower curtain had what appeared to be a blood stain - absolutely gross! On top of that, this hotel is extremely stingy. For example, when I asked for more towels, the front desk attendant gave me just A SINGLE TOWEL. This has never happened to me before. In fact, the previous hotel I stayed in, a Days Inn (also a Wyndham property), gave me an entire stack of towels when I asked for more towels. Overall, I am done with the Wyndham brand. I've stayed in some pretty bad Wyndham properties, but this has got to be one of the worst!
