I've been going to Hollywood nails for about 6 years with good results-until my last visit. The pedicure was wonderful as always, however the manicure was a disaster. The operator snipped off part of my finger, which hurt like hell as well as made it bleed like a stuffed pig (it took about a week for it to heal). To add insulin to injury, I was charged $20 for the pedicure. Really? That was probably the worse business decision I have ever witnessed. No common sense. The only thought they had was to squeeze every last dollar out of me they possibly could. Losing my business never entered their mind. I WILL NOT be returning. read more

Didn't have any services done here. Walked in and the place seemed pretty dingy. Chairs were old and foot baths looked dirty. called this place around 3:30 to ask if they had availability for 4 people. Whoever answered the phone said they weren't busy and could get us in ASAP. We showed up at 3:40 and every. single. chair. had someone in it. Then my two friends were seated, one of them asked if I could take her place because I had work at 5, and the man said no (mind you, they hadnt even started doing her nails yet so there's no excuse for that bs) then they proceeded to take a little over an hour to do her set- medium length solid color nails. That should take 35 minutes at max. Her length and shape didnt even come out right. My second friend sat in that chair for closer to 2 hours. She was getting a short solid set. 4 different people worked on her nails. Why the actual hell did it take 4 people and almost 2 hours? not to mention people in there DIDNT have masks. fuck this place. read more

I saw this several times as clients left and I cut my visit short after the technician broke out a cheese grater to use on my feet (yeah, a real one like in your kitchen). Literally called at 3:30 to see if they could get me and my three friends in and said they weren't busy. Walked in and this place was bussin' like every chair was filled. One of my friends needed to be at work by 5:30 and they didn't even get her in. I offered to let her go first and they said no. It took them way over an hour to do my nails a solid color and didn't even bother to get the shape right after I showed my nail tech a picture of what I wanted several times. Ummm not to mention the phone rang the whole time and they were sitting right next to it. I kid you not I watched the workers each time the phone rang, they all looked up and looked around, then proceeded to keep working. FINALLY they passed the phone around like a game of hot potato fighting over who had to answer it... and they didn't even end up answering. So happy with my nails! My daughter and I went in and had Rose and Howie as our nails technicians. After telling Howie what we would like, he made a suggestion on my nail design which turned out to be a better look. He also made sure to tell us prices up front so we knew exactly what we would pay. Both Howie and Rose asked if we were ok with the length and shape of our nails throughout the process which I highly appreciated. I just had a solar nails done and a pedicure and it was amazing. Helen is fantastic, Rose is an artist and Howie did an amazing job. People say it's expensive but that's subjective. I've paid way more elsewhere. Helen was super gentle with my pedicure and gave me one of the best massages I've had in a long time. They offer reasonable prices for the work they do. Probably the best nail work I've ever had, never chips and stays the full 2-3 weeks perfectly. Went in to get a full set of acrylic with dip ( which says they charge $35). I ended up leaving with the most uneven old looking nails that looked like I already needed a fill. Not at all what I asked for or expected. And it cost $45 I called and asked if I could come in and they said yes we'll fix it. The second time they looked great. But then proceeded to charge me another $45 to fix my nails. I should not have to pay $90 in total to get the nails I want. read more

Initially When I started going the original owner was an older man. Currently his niece is running this place. They don't talk with you during your service and they are fast and not as detailed like the original owner. The original owner was nice and pleasant. New management sucks, I was traded to different techs each time I went in. The price i was initially paying has doubled. Clean atmosphere that is very relaxing. I went in for a pedicure and dipped nails. The pedicure was perfect. My original choice in color for dipped nails was very thin and didn't look good. Had a set of nails and a pedi, a non Asian girl did both. My fingernails where not prepped before putting tips on. Instead of the topcoat I opted for the pink buff. Don't do this, I have dips in all my nails. Pedicure was ok. I feel like my services where half done. I would not suggest going here, and I sure wont again. Used to love this place & had been a loyal customer for over a year. But now I'll be looking for a new place to go after the awful way my niece was treated there last week. She went in to get her nails done for prom. There was a wait (no biggie since there usually is unless you have an appointment), but she waited in the water for over an hour. Once they started on her nails, she tried telling the tech repeatedly she didn't like the shape. He continued on and after they were done she told him again & was told she would be charged just to remove them. My regular tech, Rose, spoke very rudely to her and told her it was her fault for not saying anything! Which she did! She even tried FaceTimeing her mom during his and my sister even called up there only to be met with the same rudeness. They just lost our entire family as customers. Very disappointed as the service before this had been great. From the other complaints I've heard lately, all I can assume is that they've become so busy that the service is suffering greatly. read more
