I left there that day and knew I would never be back. I found this very nice clean elegant spot in Edgewater and was so pleased with the service! I couldn't stop commenting on how nice and clean and beautiful it was! Mike is the owner, he and his wife. My nails were shaped the way I wanted them and look more natural. Today I'm going back for a pedicure and will bring my friend with me, she will be getting a fill in. I know she will love this place, it's as classy and beautiful as she is

The wait wasn't long (but I was there in the early afternoon on a weekday on an icy, snowy day, when some people may still have been hunkered down indoors), but I'd recommend making a reservation, since they're not a large nail salon and didn't seem to have as many staff members as other nail salons. But it was clean and comfortable, and they were playing great music. My nails look great - shaped perfectly, painted carefully. They took their time to make sure my nails looked great. They were friendly, and they offer plenty of paint options (I had plenty of dip options to choose from). Really a good place for a mani or pedi. I'd be happy to return.

Despite my efforts to be conversant, he was non-communicative, indicating what I should do only by moving my feet and hands in the desired direction. His service was quick and perfunctory, while paying little attention to the callouses on my feet. This same technician suddenly found his voice when checking us out, however, and informing us what we owed the salon. When I got home and inspected my "manicure", all my cuticles were ragged. I hope you have a better experience if you go. We will not be returning to Kim's.

The stylist, Ms. Misty, was so kind and thoughtful, it was such a relaxing and wholesome experience. She is delicate with her hands, she asked me a couple questions of why style I was looking for and she nailed it so good! The stylish messy bun lasted well on a sunny windy wedding day. In the evening, I actually took the bun out and just let my hair down and it looked so so good! I got many compliments.
