I had to stop going to my convenient nail salon because it was only 5 minutes away because the place was disgustingly dirty and the owner was very impatient when he was working with my friend, who is an elderly women. I left there that day and knew I would never be back. I found this very nice clean elegant spot in Edgewater and was so pleased with the service! I couldn't stop commenting on how nice and clean and beautiful it was! Mike is the owner, he and his wife. My nails were shaped the way I wanted them and look more natural. Worst experience ever didn't even get to get my nails done because they kept declining my call. I've been there one other time. It was fine to go. Nothing crazy it would've been fine if they would've put me on hold or something but no straight declining cause is ridiculous. read more

I have been to all the nail salons in the area and I love Imperial nail & Spa! It is very sanitized and nice. At the other salons, I sometimes got offended that techs speaking their language loud carelessly with attitude right in front of me as I didn't exist! But at this salon, it doesn't happen. The owner Mikey is very easy going and talented tech! He always surprises me with his great taste! They offer you some drinks! Very decent salon! I really recommend this salon!! read more

He did a fabulous job with massaging my tired legs & feet. Great job on my arms & hands too. I was totally relaxed after the mani, pedi. Kim waxed my eyebrows. She was equally as lovely. Once again, kind, polite, efficient & thorough. They also offer Facials which I will definitely be trying next time I go! I have been to Imperial nails twice now, having just discovered them. On my first visit, I had a relaxing pedicure, a full set (where acrylic nails were expertly created), and wonderful polish on all nails. The person doing the polish suggested having one nail of five a slightly darker shade than the others. It turned out beautifully. The second visit was to fill my nails as they had grown. The polish was still in excellent condition Again, the work was done with care and precision, and the result fantastic. The staff are welcoming and they clearly have repeat customers that they know by name. Highly recommended. read more

The best salon in Edgewater! If you live on the Mayo Peninsula, I highly recommend coming here for all your mani-pedi needs. They are open much later than most salons, making it easy to go after work. They always play relaxing music and the owners are easy and fun to talk to. I am very picky when it comes to my nails and I have never had one complaint about the quality of work here! They are precise, skilled, detail-oriented and quick. Their prices beat some of the other local stores and their quality of work is much better! I recommend making an appointment but they are usually able to accommodate anyone if you call a couple of days before. You're missing out if you're not going here! read more

This place opened several months back and is located in a tiny strip mall on the Mayo Peninsula in Edgewater. I kept driving by determined to check it out, but alas I could only get there today. This "delay" made my technician gasp as I wanted to do the standard spa pedicure ($25) but had to add the extra $5 for some serious exfoliation. My procrastination, my extra dollars. From the outside it doesn't look like much but the folks did a great job in the interior. Very clean (yeah, I know it's new), professional looking, and bright lighting for manicures, and subdued lighting for pedicures. Their choice of paint colors were spot on - corals and soft yellows that immediately put you at ease. I sat down in the massage chair to soak the tootsies and next to me was a couple getting the full works pedis. My anticipation for my treatment grew once I saw the pleasure (closed eyes, soft groans) my new neighbor was getting from her foot/leg message. I hope her partner was taking notes for future reference. Anyway, the pedicure was awesome. The owner, Jimmy, did a phenomenal job. At one point he was pummeling my feet and calves so hard I thought I was in a boxing match with a very very tiny person. But In the end, it felt great. The new massage chairs also had some serious strength, so I felt quite revitilized when I left, and my toes looked cute to boot! read more

I had a great experience here! I had only requested a pedicure when I had scheduled my appointment, but upon arrival I realized that my hands needed some serious work. I asked if it was possible for me to squeeze in a full set in my appointment and they did with no hesitation! The application of my full set was cut short, however, because I needed to go to another appointment. This is where it gets really impressive: my technician said, "Go to your appointment and then come back. We'll finish you up then." Dedication, right? So she did just as promised. I went to my appointment in Annapolis and came back and she not only completed the full set flawlessly, but it was also the best full set I've ever gotten. It looks so natural! I give this place a big two thumbs up. It's clean, it's professional and everyone there is just downright friendly. They make great conversation while they do their work. You can tell who the regulars are when you hear a technician say something to the customer like, "So how did your son's dirt bike competition go?" It's what you'd want and expect in a relaxing trip to the salon. I say give this place a go any day! read more

She was a young girl , the nail she had were AMAZING so I figured she would take care of my sister, but nope, she did the total opposite. Her attitude from the start was "i dont care to be here" . I've been to this location before but it is different now. They are under new management and it helped. First of all they updated the inside it is so pretty and has a very relaxed vibe. Everyone is so friendly. They greet you when you walk in. I went in for a dip full set and a pedicure. They started me off with the pedicure. Right when I sat down he started on my nails so they could soak during the pedicure portion. The pedi itself was so amazing. It was done by Dylan, who is sooo sweet btw. The best I've ever had!!! I suggest the deluxe it was so worth it. I was falling asleep. Complete relaxation. The nail tech to finish my nails was Tim he was great. I was requesting a style that normally isn't done with dip but Tim offered to try and it came out amazing. I'm a mom that works full time so when I get my nails done it is to relax by myself and get pampered and that is exactly what I got at JT nail. I will only be going there from now on. A friend referred me to J.T Nails and I've never gone back to my old spot. I've tried several technicians there and they're all good. It's very clean and they even store personal tools for regular customers so your files etc aren't used on anyone else! Wow! It's worth the drive. But if you can't seem to get the 5 minutes passed rte 2 just head to their other salon on Mayo Road, Natural Nails. Owned by the same couple and equally as awesome! read more

Awful experience with an eyebrow wax here. The lady waxed of half the skin under my eyes and plucked more hairs than she waxed. If I wanted my eyebrows plucked, I would have done it myself. The room where you have the treatment is dirty, and they do not change the bed after use. read more
