Annie is usually who I see for a pedicure. I have very ticklish feet and tell her to pls not scrub the very center of my foot and she actually listens! She is very careful but fast. I feel their prices are fair. The location is next to some other popular businesses so parking can sometimes be an issue. Great Experience. Very relaxing and amazing service. Annie was a doll and very particular about her work. She actually discussed my wishes and likes. She gave great recommendations not just trying to upsale. My pedicure was perfect! She removed all my callus and gave a great massage!! My fill-in was good. Only critique was the coffin shape was not the best but also know it wasn't easy due to my nails being a shorter length. Needless to say, even though I didn't get my fingers (2 ) fixed because I would have had to wait for many customers who continued to walk in and be served before me, I came back to get them fixed the next day. Again, I was pushed to another several techs who couldn't serve me because I could not find the color he did originally. Finally 1 tech says that the color fades after a while. The owner still refuses to address me away from other customers. Instead he continues to talk loud and disregard me. He tells me I have to find the color but it won't match bc it's been a few days (I've never heard that before)!!!! All I want is a refund to go somewhere else to get my nails done so they look all the same and look nice. read more

It's a nice clean place. They're very pricey. Really nice people though. Very relaxing atmosphere. But you can be your own judge by the pictures. Honestly not one of the best paint jobs, or nail shaping. I paid $60 for a new set and chrome paint and this is what I got. I'm new to the area and this was my first visit here. I haven't patronized a lot of nail salons and I'm a guy, so you might want to make a mental adjustment for that. I have been there several times and have never had a bad experience. I've had pedicures from several different people; all of them were pleasant and professional. I thought Annie and Susan were especially good. I especially appreciated that the salon does not have the overpowering scent of acetone that some others have. Perhaps that varies with how many customers are in the shop. The owners/operators are Vietnamese, so with my hearing loss I sometimes have trouble understanding everything, but we muddle through. I usually call ahead for appointment (that's the way to avoid an hour wait), but the one time I walked in I had to wait no more than minutes. It really shouldn't surprise anyone that if you walk in you might have to wait. I can't address how they apply nail polish, etc., but for a pedicure or a basic manicure they are highly recommended. The shop is in a small shopping center. I've never had a problem with finding a parking spot. read more

I have been a client of Holly & John's since I was 12, I am now 32. That's 20 years of service they have provided for me and I am loyal to them both forever. They are always squeezing me in because they know I'm a single mom and NEVER have time for myself. Their establishment is clean and bright. Horrible experience !!!! They racially profiled me. Thought I wasn't going to pay when I left my card in my car. Even when I gave him my ID and told him he could follow me to my car. On top of that he told me I had to leave to go to the atm because the card machine was down but they had no sign stating so! He told me in the middle of my service. The quality of the work on my pedicure was good. The surprise charge for callus removal and the 3.25% charge for credit/debit card use were not. Before we got started, the technician requested that I choose an option from their list of services. I chose the basic pedicure, which is $28. During the pedicure, the technician asked me whether I wanted clear polish. I declined and I told her that just a buff would be fine. She said that the buff would be an extra $5 and I told her no problem. When the job was complete, I went to the register where she told the man at the front desk something in their native tongue and he said, "Forty dollars." I asked for clarification because 28+5=33, not 40. The woman said the charge for callus removal is $7. That's all well and good, but she should have told me about that beforehand like she did with the buff. I didn't fight the charge because I really wasn't in the mood and I had a full slate of errands that day, but I probably won't return because--due to that hidden upcharge--a basic pedicure ended up costing me almost $50 with a decent tip included. read more

Do NOT let the outside fool you! My mom and I met in Bowie (the midpoint for both of us) and decided to indulge in a pedicure. Not knowing the area that well, and checking out yelp, we phoned a friend who recommended Only Nails. The parking lot was small, the signage old, the building VERY old ... and it smelled like crabs (yay for seafood next door!). But when we walked in, it was like being in another world. Clean, nice smelling, bright and inviting. We opted for a spa pedi because the price was right ($35) and they did a great job. They were fast, friendly and paid attention when I told them not to rub my heel. Highly recommend this seemingly sketchy hole in the wall. read more

I've been going to Only Nails for at least 7 years. The owners John and Holly are always pleasant and accommodating. They know my voice when I call. The strip they are in needs a face lift and they are next door to a seafood place (even better for crabs) but the outward appearance has no bearing on the service you'll receive. I've been to other nail salons on occasion but I always return to Only Nails. I've never heard anyone complaining there and I haven't heard anything bad about cleanliness. I've never had an infection or concern from their tools. They could use a few upgrades to the pedicure chairs but I'm sure that will come in due time. So check them out. I am so glad I did. Susan gave me both a spa pedicure and an (acrylic) fill. She did an excellent job of both. Things I liked: The place was clean. They had plenty of selection of polish colors. The staff was courteous, Susan especially so. The massage chair for the pedicure was wonderful. The prices are very reasonable. The spa pedi was very good and I believe it was worth it. I would encourage anyone considering this place to not let the rest of the building in this strip mall deter you from going to Only Nails. It's not in the most fancy locale, but once you get inside that's all that matters. One thing to note is that they only accept tips in cash. read more

So I came here based on prior reviews. However, after getting my pedicure and having the slide out on before my polish I noticed that the bottom of the slide was dirty. This was my first visit to Only Nails. I was a walk-in so I didn't mind the 30 min wait. Annie discussed the various nail options and didn't mind when I changed my mind to a cheaper nail option after I added the pedicure. Next time I will try the gel manicure. I am very pleased with the experience and the outcome. The manicure was pleasant. She took a lot of care with my cuticles which had been very neglected by me. The pedicure was quite a treat - soap, oil, lotion, exfoliant scrub ... My feet are the softest they've been in years. The salon is very clean with very nice, new appearing furniture. The chairs are very comfortable. The pedicure seats had massage features, so I had a nice back massage while having my feet done. The staff are warm and friendly but they are not chatty. This was a bit off-putting at first, but then I relaxed and really enjoyed not having to make small talk; I could just enjoy being pampered. It has been twenty years since my last manicure...it won't be but a few weeks before my next! Bring cash for the tip. They don't add it to the credit card and unfortunately I have as quite embarrassed to leave a less than deserved tip. read more
