Since I had an awesome experience the first time I went, I decided to give them another try. I messaged them privately on Facebook and they did not respond, so I will leave my review here. First of all, the nail tech was extremely rough and pretty much all of my nail beds were bleeding. Second of all, LOOK how uneven and thick they are. But this isn't even the worst part!! After I took my nails off, I noticed a yellow line under my nail and I realized it was a fungal infection. So yeah, basically it was the worst $77+tip that I've ever spent. Sam the male owner is very rude abrasive and Uninviting. If I would have felt with him my entire visit this place would have gotten 1star. I called in advance and it was walk in only so I arrived 10 minutes later and was told there was a 20 minute wait and I would have to wait in my car. I understand COVID PROTOCOL but he was rude and expected me to know how to sign in even after I told him this was my first visit to the store. SAMANTHA not to be co fused with "Sam" was polite and knowledgeable and did a fantastic job on my new acrylic overlay on my natural nail and was even patient well I picked out a color that I was authorized to wear with my job. I've just recently gotten into pedicures. I'm headed to Cancun in 2 days so wanted to get my feet looking better. I got the Volcano pedicure that was $66. Tao (sp) was my technician and she was very thorough and made sure I was good every step of the way. Being my first time here and visiting from out of town I didn't know what to expect. In fact, I had just been turned away from another nearby salon because they were only doing appts already booked. But when I walked in, I was greeted and told it may be 15 minutes and offered a seat on the couch. 5 minutes later I was led back to a chair and got the best pedicure experience ever! HN-My new local nail favorite since I moved to Longview. The people are nice and friendly. I like that they put plastic bags in the pedi pits, changing them out between customers. Some places just wash them out. There isn't a lot of parking at the front door, but plenty around the lot. The prices are competitive and they work hard to get you taken care of as soon as you get there. They offer drinks, but I get water. There are TVs to watch, lively music to listen to, and plenty of conversation if you want it. The bathroom is clean, and they have several different services. Great nail place! I was a walk-in and I was seen right away. (I did come mid-day on a week day though) It was nice and clean inside which is what I look for in a nail salon. I got a pedicure and a full set (dip powder). I was in the salon over 3 weeks ago and the nail polish on my toes is barely chipped, and I got regular polish. I didn't get a photo after I got them done but just take my word for it; they looked good! I was actually pretty impressed with the time that was taken on my nails. They turned out amazing! I've included a photo, but the photo is of my nails about 3 weeks after I got them done (today lol). Besides the growth, they still look amazing! I think the picture says enough. I shouldn't have to pay for something that is clearly done so sloppy. I've tried this place three times and I have gotten the same man which I don't know but may be the owner or at least in charge. Each time he has done a terrible job but I kept coming back because I like to give a business a few chances because we all have bad days. My first set was acrylic when I asked for dip. My second set was misshaped and uneven and one nail popped off after a week, by time I made it in today I only had 2 nails still in-tacked. The other two were bad but this set is absolutely horrible. I have been trained in nail technology and this is definitely not state board. The fact he could look me in the face after I was clearly unhappy and make me pay full price is robbery. First time here and came only for the fact that I was told they could do powder dipped nails; I haven't found any other place in Longview that seems to be able to. It's a fairly cute place- lots going on inside including fish tanks and a bar. My sister-in-law and I came on a Monday at 9:30am. We were the only ones for about an hour. The lady that greeted us had very limited English and had no clue what I was telling her when I told her I wanted my powder re-done. My SIL pedicure looked enjoyable as the gentleman took his time and gave her a lengthy massage. My pedicure was ok, below average compared to my SIL. I guess because my man spent forever trying to get the gel off my toes and was probably turned off my the length of my leg hair. I prefer to have toe separators on my feet when they paint them because my toes are close together and rub the fresh paint. My man had to do a couple of touch ups because..well, no toe separators. It took about 45 min for the pedicure. My SIL also got powder nails and unfortunately, there was only one man who could perform said duty. So, I waited for about 25 minutes for my turn. I got pink and white dips, in which the gentleman doing my nails stated that dips are a "headache" when talking about him being the only one who does them. My nails turned out better than they were when I went in but I left with a couple small knicks on my cuticles from overuse of the drill and with dried powder on parts of my fingers. Regular polish "deluxe" pedicure (cheapest one offered $40) and pink and white dips was a total of $95. In Dallas and Knoxville, it cost $80 and is a little better quality. This place is ok if you're needing immediate service but expect to pay more than it's worth. Oh, and for it to take half the day. I left at 12:26pm. **UPDATE: SAME DAY 6:12PM My SIL had 2 of her nails crack/chip off. For her $80 + 20 in tip= $100, you would think the nail job would be high quality. She called them and they are supposed to repair it tomorrow. read more

Visited this place for the first time today. For $40, I was able to get an hour long pedicure that included your choice of scents, salt scrub, lotion, mud mask, hot rocks with oil, hot towels and paraffin wax and that was the basic package. The massage was fantastic! It also includes your choice of beverage (soda, wine, water or margarita). They use an autoclave and their tools are pulled directly from sealed packages. Each basin is sealed with plastic which is changed for each service. This was a great experience and I will definitely be back. read more

I asked why 30 he said its because acrylics are 25 but extra for nail tip . All nails come with nail tip on acrylic. I see my receipt and I got charged for shellac. Why the dishonesty? Why? If I could give zero stars i would have. I stopped by this nail salon because it was close to the hotel I was staying in. When I walked in l asked to get a fill done on my nails. The guy at the desk immediately told me they don't to fills on powder dipped nails. I told him I don't have powder dipped nails and he asked to see my nails. After I showed him my nails he proceeded to raise his voice and tell me my nails were powder. I explained to him a I acrylic with gel polish. He snatched my hand and then said its going to be expensive to get a fill. I asked if he had gel polish and he said it was going to be extra and threw the gel polish book at me. I walked out after that. I am not in Tx often and usually try to get my nails done before going anywhere. Unfortunately I was not able to go to my original nail shop before leaving. If you want to be treated rudly and talked to like your stupid this is the place. I WILL NEVER STOP BY THERE AGAIN, thats for sure!!! read more

I don't understand some of the negative comments I have read about this salon. I have not experienced anything like that. I have now been twice and both times have been nothing but stellar. But just understand, there are people who will just look for things to complain about. My visits have taken place during the pandemic upon the re-opening of the salon. I didn't really know what to expect. I believe the manager and staff did everything they were supposed to do according to CDC guidelines. Before entering, there was a checkpoint under a canopy and Sam, the manager, very pleasantly asked me to initial and sign my name to a form, that asked the typical Covid questions. He also took my temperature. He squirted some antiseptic hand sanitizer on my hands and even offered me a cold bottle of water. Before he opened the entrance door, he even sprayed down the door handle! Once inside, I was asked to select my nail color. Their assortment of colors was incredible and the girl at the front helped me in selecting my toenail color and nail color. I was then asked to take a seat on a comfortable waiting sofa, but was there only momentarily, as I was assisted to a pedicure chair. I found it comfortable with a nice massage feature. My pedi tech was Liz. She was amazing. She gave me a menu to select the pedi I wanted and also what I wanted to drink. I had the complimentary peach margarita which was yummy! My pedicure included "the works" and was wonderful. I chose to do the gel shellac on my toes to match the powder dip on my fingernails. The pedicure was so relaxing and just perfect. Liz was very cordial and did a super job. Then I was ushered to the nail bar area for my fingernails. I felt relaxed then, too, as I so often have not during getting my nails done. My nails turned out just perfect, like I wanted them. The shop itself was very nice and inviting, very chic and glamorous. There were plenty of flatscreen TVs and a very large fish aquarium. Also a beautiful trickling fountain added to the ambience. My nail tech's name was LeLe and also very sweet and accommodating. Everyone was wearing masks, as also the customers, due to the CDC guidelines. Everything appeared clean and sanitary. Prices were fair. I would (and have) recommend Hollywood Nails to my friends and family. Thank you Liz and LeLe for a job well done I will definitely be returning to this elegant salon and suggesting my friends and family about my *new* nail salon. Oh and another thing that needs mentioning ~~~ I've been to many nail salons over the years, and I have to say I am impressed with the professionalism this shop is. All of the staff remained relatively quiet and I never heard any arguing amongst them or speaking loudly to a co-worker across the room, usually in a foreign language. Please don't get me wrong though, as I have great respect for their culture and native tongue. My issue only being that for most women, we enjoy our times at the nail salon, and consider it to be our time to relax and be pampered. For me, when the atmosphere is noisy and chaotic, I just cannot relax and instead feel kind of nervous and uncomfortable. Some salons I have gone to in the past, the employees young children would hang out in the main area and were often disruptive, twirling around in the chairs, eating, causing their parent to be distracted and yelling at their children. However, I've never found this to be the case at Hollywood Nails. I noticed that every tech stayed focused on their client and spoke quietly when they needed to. This was literally the worst experience of my entire life. I have been here before and really liked my nail tech so i returned only to find out she no longer works there. The first sign of trouble was when 3 people showed up after me and each of them received service before I did. Once it was finally my turn, the lady that sits in the last chair rudely approached me. After she glued on the acrylics, she began cutting and filing without asking about my desired length. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she said okay without hesitation. She started off using color powder and after completing one nail I knew I wouldn't like the others. She said that if I did the shellac it would be better. After several failed attempts and 2 hours later I asked her to please just take my nails off. Sam, the extremely rude owner PRESSURED me into getting my nails done and assured me another tech could do it better. After being there for 3 hours, my nails from 3 weeks ago looked better than what I was leaving with today. They initially tried to charge me $75, after negotiating we settled on $35 however, i am embarrassed i even paid $1 for these. read more
