Hollywood Pet Concierge is amazing!!! I was panicking because I was leaving for a trip in two days and my plan for who was going to take care of my doggies fell through. I couldn't keep them at my place because the landlord decided to redo our floors and I didn't want to put them in a kennel. When I called HPC my stress instantly melted away because Stephen said he could take in my dogs, but more than that he was so kind and reassuring. When I dropped them off, Stephen welcomed me into his home and showed me where my pups would be and I could tell they would be in wonderful hands. He sent me updates with adorable pictures of my pups and their new buddy JD, his dog. When I went to pick them up I was afraid they wouldn't even want to come home with me because they seemed like they were living the doggy dream! They got sent home with homemade dog treats and a doggy report card which I think is the cutest thing in the world and it's now hanging on my fridge! I would give Hollywood Pet Concierge 100 stars if I could! I highly recommend Steven, he's absolutely the best!! My husband and I found HPC when our dog sitter had to leave town the day before we did. In a panic, we called multiple pet sitters/hotels none of which were ideal for our two dogs. We thought we would have to cancel our trip, until Steven immediately returned our call. He was a perfect fit! Because of Steven we left with comfort knowing our boys were in good hands. Love HPC and Steven. Steven used to look after my "kids" in Miami when he lived here and worked for a local company. Now HPC looks after my dog during the day when I'm in LA for work and I'm able to take her with me. They might be a wonderful service, and frankly I was very excited and relieved to have found them. Their initial communication seemed very consistent and strong, but Steven cancelled our consultation via EMAIL two hours before he was due to come (due to a family emergency). Emergencies happen, but a phone call is so much more appropriate, especially as I was leaving on a weekend trip a few hours later and was running about getting everything ready. I had to re-arrange my departure accordingly, of course. When they didn't confirm the night before or respond to the last email I had sent regarding our meeting time, I felt something might be off. In the end, we are going with another service, because I feel unsettled at the lack of communication that ensued after we had essentially agreed to use their service. read more

He makes the BEST homemade pet food as well, you should definitely ask for a sample. I have tried a handful of pet sitting companies in LA over the years but, now that I have found HPC, I need look no further. My cats are always so happy and calm after being in his care, they used to show signs of stress when I left them with others. Recently I lost my beloved 18 year old cat and because I had another cat that needed looking after during the back and forth trips to the vet, Steven was around during this very painful time to help. I don't leave my animals with just anyone. I was referred to Steven by my niece, who only has cats. She didn't know how Steven would be with dogs. He was really great. I know when my dogs are happy and when they have been just "handled". They were very comfortable with Steven. Omg I can't say enough good things about Steven! I am in LA temporarily for work and was flying back home for a week. I was beside myself trying to figure out what to do with my dogs. I don't crate them and couldn't imagine leaving them for an entire week in a nasty dirty cage where nobody paid attention to them. Then I came across HPCs yelp page and thought it was too good to be true. Steven actually came to my apt to meet my girls the weekend before I left. I was so at ease! While I was gone he sent me multiple pictures of them playing and going on walks. He even made them homemade treats! Now my girls aren't big fans of anyone besides my husband and I but when I went to pick them up they were actually a little sad to leave Steven! I cannot say enough how absolutely wonderful this pet sitting service is. I highly recommend Hollywood Pet Concierge for pet sitting. I just picked up my pomeranian today from Steven, and could not be happier. Steven runs this business full-time and therefore the pets that he watches are very well looked after with lots of attention. Steven is very responsible, prompt, and follows up when he says that he will. Steven even makes healthy treats for dogs! You can tell that he is a dog person who really cares for the pets. Steven goes above and beyond that of any other pet sitting service I have ever used. Steven sent me texts every now and then while I was away to let me know that Charlie is doing great (I think he knows how I worry about my dog). Cassidy did the same for me when she watched him. Steven even gave me some treats to take home with me. I also noticed that my dog looked fluffier when I picked him up. I asked Steven if he thought he looked fluffier, and he said it was because he gave him a bath!! My dog smells and looks great! (I was reluctant to type this because I don't want everyone expecting Steven to give their dogs baths, but I am so blown away by the level of service that I felt people need to know how great he is). Another pet sitting service returned my dog to me with an upset stomach, whereas Steven returned my dog to me with fluffier fur and better breath from the homemade treats. Hollywood Pet Concierge wins hands down. My dog and I are both high maintenance, yet Steven is always able to accommodate with a smile. I have used Hollywood Pet concierge twice now, and both times I felt confident that my dog was in great hands. I am able to travel without worrying about my dog.
