The beach-view balcony room offered beautiful views and was a great place to unwind. While the room was clean and comfortable, some of the furniture and fixtures were starting to show their age and felt a little rough around the edges. One of the best perks was that the resort fee included two beach chairs and an umbrella each day. There are also plenty of food and drink options throughout the resort, making it easy to grab anything from a quick bite to a full meal without leaving the property.

Couldn't get into the gym. Daily resort fee, even if you don't use their "amenities." Oh, don't sit on the lobby furniture. It's as filthy as the carpet in the room I stayed in. It is clothing optional in parts but you don't have to if you don't want to. Nudity is not lewdity. Very clean place. Good food. Staff is really helpful and pleasant. Shout out to Gastón for his cappuccinos and espresso. This resort is an oasis to retreat to from the hoi poli roaming the beaches.

They need to replace pool towels so you don't have to go to the front desk and ask. OR, just provide some outside where they have lemon water available. 4. The $30 per day resort fee... I get it. The breakfast was great everyday. Service was great. 5. The $30 per day parking... RIDICULOUS! $30 x7 = $210. We could have ubered for less and saved the hassle. I would not have rented a car if I had known. That should be a part of the resort fee. 6. Great location as far as Fort Lauderdale goes. Close to beach, restaurants, etc. But it was our 2nd time to Lauderdale... still not a fan. 7. Although there are signs saying "No outside alcohol" thank god we were able to bring in our own. The front desk receptionist, Dominique, was most helpful and gave us 5 star service in looking for a room with a balcony that was available for us. She found one and upgraded us to an ocean front. It was truly the BEST ocean front room we have ever had in Ft Lauderdale and Miami. I would have loved to stay longer just to enjoy the view more. We had a mini-suite, versus the regular suite which would not have had the balcony. Room 1715. Big shower, comfortable sitting chair, large balcony with cushioned chairs and table, Lavazza coffee, ironing board. We were so close, we could hear the ocean waves. Pool was fine. Hot tub. By the pool were cushioned lounge chairs and umbrellas, but some of the cushions were flat. A pool attendant said new cushions were on order for next year, so it would be better. A shout-out to the pool attendant who dragged over a different chair with a cushion that had some cushion left in it for me. She was genuinely nice. There was also a separate section of chairs facing a wall closer to the bathroom, so if it was crowded, you would still be able to get a chair but not with a cushion. I liked the fitted towel covers they put over the chairs. It was chilly and windy when we were there, so I asked for an extra chair cover to use as a blanket. Periodically, the attendants came by with chilled water, frozen fruit. The pool-side service was excellent. Different servers may come by asking if you need anything or to pick up your dishes, since they work as a team. The hamburger and fries was delicious ($35). Chicken tenders were pretty good. The alcohol drinks were $20. I liked the non-alcoholic mango daiquiri. ' I highly recommend making reservations at Takata, Japanese restaurant at the hotel. It got packed later and everything was absolutely delicious - one of the best dinners in Ft Lauderdale we have had in over 20 years. It is also open for breakfast. I had the avocado toast which was okay. Down the street in the shopping center is a CVS. We have stayed in a number of Ft Lauderdale hotels over the years for a cruise. The outstanding service from Dominique at the front desk to the pool attendants and servers, the Takata server all were phenomenal. The room was incredible and we appreciated the generous supply of Lavazza coffee and microwave. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Conrad, and it will be at the top of our list next time we are in Ft Lauderdale.

For starters, the lobby is beautiful, well lit and a great scent / air freshener. The front desk staff was really helpful in accommodating our late checkin, as well as informing us about the opportunity to get an extended amenity pass to enjoy their pool area after checking out in the morning. (There was no late checkout available during our stay.) During the reservation process before our stay, it sometimes took awhile and multiple phone calls to get a hold of the reservations department but they were helpful in squaring away and adjusting some details. Our suite was huge! We were fortunate to have a suite on the 6th floor, the highest residential level. The master suite bed was king size and really comfortable. The master bath had both a bathtub & huge shower. Closet space was also really generous. Our suite also had a wraparound balcony from the bedroom to the living room & dining area. As far as amenities, Saturday we were able to enjoy the 7th floor pool deck before the weekend rains began. There's a nice amount of pool chairs available and the pool looked really clean. Other than drinks poolside, we didn't eat there, but they do have a restaurant on the 7th floor open for lunch & dinner. A couple of areas could use some improvement, and why I am dinging a star. Besides the issue with the front desk & reservation staff answering the phone, service at the pool bar was a little slow in the sense. The pineapple rum drink I had could have used a little more alcohol; it tasted almost like a virgin pina colada. They also have to be paid on the spot and not charged to my room since it is supposedly a separate "account". Oh and don't party too loud because Big Brother is watching; they have a "noise detector" in the room so who knows what else they listen in on. While I understand the need for safety, it is a little unnerving that they may be listening in. Still and all, we do plan to keep Costa Hollywood Hotel in future staycation plans.

Everything was fantastic except wish the shower was a bit larger and there was no clothes line to hang bathing suits. Queen beds were nice and soft and what a view! The pool area had one pool and two hot tubs, Man it was nice! Hard to find seats though, so do come early. Had the most relaxing time there and my girl didn't want to leave. It was heated for my January visit and ate lunch there too. Nothing to write home about and is $, but can you expect from a resort. The beach was across the street and as part of your resort fee, it includes two loungers and umbrella. Score! Unlike other resorts that you have to pay (like Marriott Harbor Beach). Wish had more time to enjoy the beach, but went right back up to the pool. Main breakfast restaurant doesn't offer buffet so it's Ala carte menu and it sure did take some time to get our food. It was good but pricey. They have a market at the lobby, so that's a good alternative. The uber from port to here wasn't cheap though same with going to airport, but highly recommend for those seeking a nice resort vibe with oceanfront views and beach access.
