(Not their fault) BUT when I called their Schenectady office "Vinny" wanted to confirm my information then send me to the Albany location saying my car was there. Was sent on a wild goose chase by this company for them to not even have my car. Got to the Albany location and he asked about who I spoke with on the phone, told him not sure but they were rude. He instantly named Vinny. Don't know how their towing is, but I know they just wasted my whole day making me run around for a car they never had yet said they did.

My 16 year old got into an accident and Colonie police had AC towing tow my vehicle while I was on…read morevacation in Mexico so I had my mother go get me belonging out of the car and they wouldn't allow her to take anything from the vehicle nor would they allow my insurance company to come tow the vehicle to another location while I was away in Mexico for two weeks. When I called and spoke to the owner him and his college were very rude on The phone with me even cursing at me telling me they would like to see me try and come get my car which I own. They also would not accept a payment from me nor would they release my vehicle. They just wanted my car to sit there for the 2 weeks so they could collect payment and I have them on recording and plan to dispute the charges and contact the better business bureau for failing to release my vehicle or allowing me to have it towed out of their lot. I do not recommended them to anyone as they think they own your car once they tow it to their lot which is not the case! Don't let them screw you over like they are doing to me all because of greed and money they want for the two weeks I am in Mexico. I will continue to advocate and make sure this company doesn't get away with this in the future when someone is on vacation! Oh and don't bother when they post of your review and say please give us a call because they literally don't care about you or your well being only the simply penny of them being able to charge you for days of your car being on their lot because they refuse to take a payment over the phone and then I even offered to come with cash in hand and they still said I wasn't able to get my car! Like idk who this owner things he is but I'm not the one who's going to just let this go and I will be turning him in by him just taking cash sounds like he is tax evading and not claiming all the money his shops bring in so I'll be sure to contact the irs and have them looking into him for this as well cause it all sounds fishy to me maybe n next time he will decide to release my car and not keep it when he has no right to do so in the first place because he doesn't want to accept payment at this time so I told him since our calls are being recorded I won't have at anything after today for a payment because he failed to release my car! My vehicle died on the 4th floor of parking garage in downtown Albany. My roadside assistance…read moreinitially contacted Pearlman's but about an hour before they were supposed to pick my car up they cancelled saying they didn't have the right equipment for the job. Another towing company was contacted, and a few hours later the driver (Josh) called to get specifics about getting into the garage. The garage has signs posted that the clearance is 6 foot 6 inches. Josh indicated that the tow truck was the smallest that they had but it needed 7 foot clearance. I walked through the garage and measured the actual clearance to get to my car and it varied between 6'10" and 7'1". In my experience with tow truck drivers most would have said it's too tight and I'm out of luck. Josh kept cool and said he'll give it a shot. We literally had to slow down to a crawl under every concrete column to determine if the truck would clear them. Most of them had less than an inch of clearance with some being like a 16th of an inch. It took forever to get to my car and then on the way out the truck wasn't going to clear the lowest column due to how the weight of my car shifted the height of the truck. Josh pulled some maneuver to drop my car and pull it until we cleared that column. He also indicated that if necessary he would remove the light bar cover on the top of the truck if necessary. It was stressful and painstakingly slow but we finally made it out!! This is the first time I've ever had to be towed where not only was the driver not grumpy and grizzled, he went above and beyond to get the job done whereas others refused to even try. If he couldn't get my car out of the garage it would have been stuck there for who knows how long, and I would have missed my kid's soccer game that night. Luckily they took only an hour and the guy (wish I got his name) was so friendly and quickly got my car on the road to the mechanic. It was covered by my car insurance so I can't speak to the price or value but I would definitely seek them out again if I needed a tow.

NEVER. USE. THIS. COMPANY...EVER…read more I needed a tow and called my roadside assistance at 430p to help. Perlman's is contracted through them and was dispatched to assist. I was told it was going to be a two hour wait even though they are contracted only for an hour wait. Fine. Two hours pass and no one showed up. I called my road side assistance and when they contacted Perlman's, Perlman's said they canceled the tow because their truck broke down. A towing company only has one truck?!? No one ever called to say the tow was canceled. So now I have to wait ANOTHER hour for a different tow company to come get my car. It is now past 7pm and I have an infant with me. Perlman's was EXTREMELY unprofessional in this situation as they never contacted ANYONE to let them know they can not do the tow. If they had, things would have moved a bit faster and I would have made it home earlier with the baby. This isn't the first run in I had with this company. There was another time, months ago, where again I needed a tow. Again it was a two hour wait. Again, they never showed. They said they were busy and couldn't make it to me. I again had to get another company to do the tow. I will never give business to this disgrace of a company.

I have to admit it is not often I give 5 stars when I am upset with something, but after thinking…read moreabout it, it is not the establishments fault. I've been living 10 years now in Albany's Center Square, and I've had my share of parking tickets which were my fault. But one thing I do, is make sure and honor the temporary no parking signs in front of homes. Unfortunately, this time, the signs were not placed in the right locations, as should be, which is the homeowner's responsibility to remedy especially if someone removed them. I arrived home late last night from work and of course it was impossible to find parking. I saw an area with some, but there was a no parking sign for two spots in front of a home having construction done. I looked up two car lengths, and there was no sign in front of the tree in the open spot, so I took it. But there was another sign two spots up which I could not see, and even then, it was not for the location I was in. Seems like someone took down the sign that was in the middle. Anyways, next morning my Jeep is gone. Talk about being extremely upset, but this is Albany Center Square, and knowing how the parking is not the greatest for residents, I took a deep breath and sighed. The parking authority doesn't care about the residents when it comes to someone else's created problem. Anyways, since this was the first time, I didn't really know what to do. I callec the Albany Po Po, and they directed me to Capitol District Towing. I was concerned since my Jeep is old. But the lady at CDT was very helpful and apologetic, even though it wasn't her fault. I got there in time to get my Jeep, which was parked safely, and just like I left it. They looked like a class act, and will use them in the future for my towing needs. Hopefully, one that is not related to Albany Parking Authority towing it when they and the resident were the ones who were at wrong.

Oh what a horrible experience with AAA Northway. Called for tow for vehicle was told it would take…read more2 hours to get someone. The customer rep was rude and show no empathy. Hung up on me. I had to call back to make sure that my service was entered. Told it was and would get text messages with updates. Not one update given. My insurance company had a tow to us within 30 minutes. Called and canceled AAA. Over an hour later phone rings its the AAA driver looking for my vehicle. They never canceled the call. What a horrible experience. Why am I paying for the best service when all I got was the worst. Definitely bot worth the money I pay. I recommend no one get AAA
