I was regularly updated on the progress of the repair and what was being done on the car. I did feel that the price might have been a bit high, but I did not get quotes anywhere else, so I am not sure. I am satisfied with the work and would come back in the future, particularly because of the people. NEVER. USE. THIS. COMPANY...EVER…read more I needed a tow and called my roadside assistance at 430p to help. Perlman's is contracted through them and was dispatched to assist. I was told it was going to be a two hour wait even though they are contracted only for an hour wait. Fine. Two hours pass and no one showed up. I called my road side assistance and when they contacted Perlman's, Perlman's said they canceled the tow because their truck broke down. A towing company only has one truck?!? No one ever called to say the tow was canceled. So now I have to wait ANOTHER hour for a different tow company to come get my car. It is now past 7pm and I have an infant with me. Perlman's was EXTREMELY unprofessional in this situation as they never contacted ANYONE to let them know they can not do the tow. If they had, things would have moved a bit faster and I would have made it home earlier with the baby. This isn't the first run in I had with this company. There was another time, months ago, where again I needed a tow. Again it was a two hour wait. Again, they never showed. They said they were busy and couldn't make it to me. I again had to get another company to do the tow. I will never give business to this disgrace of a company.

I've been living 10 years now in Albany's Center Square, and I've had my share of parking tickets which were my fault. But one thing I do, is make sure and honor the temporary no parking signs in front of homes. Unfortunately, this time, the signs were not placed in the right locations, as should be, which is the homeowner's responsibility to remedy especially if someone removed them. I arrived home late last night from work and of course it was impossible to find parking. I saw an area with some, but there was a no parking sign for two spots in front of a home having construction done. I looked up two car lengths, and there was no sign in front of the tree in the open spot, so I took it. But there was another sign two spots up which I could not see, and even then, it was not for the location I was in. Seems like someone took down the sign that was in the middle. Anyways, next morning my Jeep is gone. Talk about being extremely upset, but this is Albany Center Square, and knowing how the parking is not the greatest for residents, I took a deep breath and sighed. The parking authority doesn't care about the residents when it comes to someone else's created problem. Anyways, since this was the first time, I didn't really know what to do. I callec the Albany Po Po, and they directed me to Capitol District Towing. I was concerned since my Jeep is old. But the lady at CDT was very helpful and apologetic, even though it wasn't her fault. I got there in time to get my Jeep, which was parked safely, and just like I left it. They looked like a class act, and will use them in the future for my towing needs. Hopefully, one that is not related to Albany Parking Authority towing it when they and the resident were the ones who were at wrong.

I pull in at 2pm and my cars in the same spot it was when I left it Monday. buyers beware, this place is a joke.

Not being from the area based in prior reviews I drove to the shop arriving before 9:00 AM and I believe that the gentleman already in the shop name was Fez - he was very helpful and ideally I agreed to purchase two used rims with tires doing cash and carry. After getting them back to my car unfortunately the rim star pattern was to large - I took the wheels back initially seeking a refund to locate rims at another location - working with after placing the calipers on the holes it was agreed the tires wouldn't work - I didn't need four rims but they happened to have four rims for my make and model and with trade if my remaining good rims and cash we agreed to a price and the rims are in my car. Being six hours from home finding a shop like NGR and the service approach to meet me at a comfortable place to purchase four versus two rims was very refreshing. If I lived here without question I would return to this shop and attempt to give them more business. Plus they list opening at 9AM - they're open easily 30 minutes before. Thank you!
