Recently, I had two of my dog's harnesses adjusted by adding to the existing strap and trimming a strap on the other. Vicky listened and helped figure out what was needed to work. Now the harness fit my dog properly and can be adjusted over a sweater I put on her for walks on cold days. Nice guys but poor service and quality. I asked the to replace the zipper on my wife's purse. They told me to come back in a week. After a week they said another week. Wasn't a big deal, I wasn't in a rush. I waited a month, still not done. I asked for it to be done a week later and they gave me the purse back with a new zipper put on but instead of sewing the lining in my wife's $300 purse in properly the didn't sew it at all. They used an adhesive which came undone quickly and made a mess. read more

Great service and great work. I just took a pair of boots into Congemi's and they were friendly and welcoming. They put new heel soles on my boots while I waited. Took my purse in on a Saturday to get the original zipper back on the slide. 15 bucks seemed very reasonable. They told me they'll call once it's ready. I called them on Wednesday and they said it wasn't ready. They also said the guy does purses once a week and they'll try to get it done by Friday. Okay, fair enough. I called Friday and they guy says, "I've got purses here for three weeks" and "purses are not our priority". Now I'm a bit upset because had they told me that when I took my purse in, I would have gone elsewhere. They said I can get a refund so I went in on Saturday to get a refund. They're a lot nicer in person than on the phone. He had to look through a stack of bags and there was mine in that stack. They need to be more organized because this was an $800 dollar bag and it was just sitting in a pile. So they apologize and say they can fix it and it took them less than 10 mins!!!! Why couldn't they just have done that in the week they had it?! Zipper works fine now, problem solved! My recommendation: don't take anything "nice" here due to the disorganization and don't expect to get it back anytime soon. Also, when I took it in originally, a guy at the back of the line of 4 people handed the cobbler his shoes and were able to get them back by end of business. Not very professional - probably a friend of theirs. I would not come back here. I'd rather ship my items out or find another place. read more

I was satisfied with the finished product of my boots. They were able to fix the zipper and heels like new, however, they were extremely disorganized. It took me 4 full months to get my boots back. Every time I called, they had another excuse (even including that they "forgot"). I would be cautious when choosing this place if you are under time constraints. read more

Went 1x before and good heel repair, zipper fix. Next time I brought in shoes and purse to clean and darken the leather, and boots for zipper repair. Purse and shoes were painted (PAINTED) sloppily (not dyed or tinted) with an acrylic paint that ruined the leather. Upon my dropping off, they had assured me that the integrity of the leather would hold up and they would be dying the leather. These are ruined. And the boot zipper repair was a mess too- they placed it on crooked and had to put a patch a the base where there was a gap. Very disappointed. I did call 2x to discuss, and whoever answered the phone told me to call back because he didn't do the project and didn't know who did. read more

Terrible. This should get negative stars. First time I went service was ok but they basically just painted blue polish over some scuffed heels. More fool me for going back. Second time I returned, the shoes were not ready even thought they were promised a week before the day I arrived. Third time I returned again later than the recommended date they could not find my shoes. I even had to go back myself into the repair area. It took fifteen minutes to find my items, and half of them weren't done. My purse was hidden in a garbage bag, also not repaired. The items that were repaired were shoddy. Dreadful. Plus all prepaid. I was so happy to get out of there I didn't even ask for my money back. I just wanted to get out at that time. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. Really worthless. Buy new shoes or get some shoe polish yourself. Brought in black and white leather purse that I nearly threw out due to some pretty bad looking discoloration/staining on the white leather. Similar businesses closer to the city would not touch it, but the owner of the shop said he could fix it up. That he did- timely and affordable (30$), the bag looked nearly brand new.
